Abstract

The present invention uses digital signage to implement promotional advertising corresponding to store conditions in real time, thereby improving the ability of the store to attract customers. This digital signage control device includes the following: a storage means which stores benefit information for a store; a detection means for detecting the number of vacant seats available to users; and a delivery means that delivers, to digital signage, benefit information according to the number of vacant seats. The detection means is a sensor that is disposed on the underside of a table associated with a seat, and that faces an under-table area above the floor. In a detection range determined on the basis of at least a light-receiving angle or elevation angle adjustment, the sensor detects the feet of a person sitting in the seat. The detection range is determined to be within a range that is wider than the under-table area and that reaches the seat position.

For example, in the case of a store having a total number of 50 seats, each seat is fixedly associated with “seat number” 1 to 50 and registered. In addition, the actual vacant seat status (status) is managed in real time for each seat. For example, in the case of FIG. 4, a seat whose “seat number” is displayed in bold indicates a non-vacant seat state (a seated state). Therefore, the “number of vacant seats” is equal to the total number of normally displayed seats that are not displayed in bold.
 <設置例>
<Example of installation>
FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a store installation example of the monitoring device according to the present embodiment. The monitoring device 30 is a device that monitors vacant seat information (vacant seat status) of a store or the like. The monitoring device 30 is installed at an arbitrary location in the store. The monitoring device 30 is connected to a vacant seat detection device such as the sensor 30a, the camera 30b, and the PC 30c so as to be communicable via a wireless (or wired) network in the store.
FIG. 5A shows an example in which the sensor 30a is used as a vacant seat detection device. In the case of FIG. 5A, as an example, the store has a total of 12 seats with seat numbers 1 to 12, and a sensor 30a is installed in each seat.
Sensor 30a is installed in each seat and detects the seating of the user. When the monitoring device 30 detects that the seat is in a non-vacant seat state (that is, a seated state) based on the detection signal of the sensor 30a, the monitoring device 30 displays the store ID, the seat number, and information indicating that the seat is in a non-vacant seat state. To the control server 10. The sensor 30a detects the user's absence. When the monitoring device 30 detects that the seat is vacant based on the non-detection signal of the sensor 30a, the monitoring device 30 transmits information indicating that the store ID, the seat number, and the seat are vacant to the control server 10. To do.
FIG. 5B shows an example in which the camera 30b is used as a vacant seat detection device. In the case of FIG. 5B, one or more cameras 30b are installed on a store ceiling or the like. A total of 12 seats with seat numbers 1 to 12 are provided in the store, and the camera 30b covers all seats within the imaging range.
The camera 30b images all seats in real time, and the captured images are input to the monitoring device 30 one by one. When the monitoring device 30 detects that the seat is in a non-vacant state based on the processing result of the image analysis, the monitoring device 30 displays information indicating that the store ID, the seat number, and the seat are in a non-vacant seat state (that is, a seated state). To the control server 10. In addition, when the monitoring device 30 detects that the seat is vacant based on the processing result of the image analysis, the monitoring device 30 sends information indicating that the store ID, the seat number, and the seat are vacant to the control server 10. It transmits via the network 50.
FIG. 5C illustrates an example in which the sensor 30a and the camera 30b are used in combination as a vacant seat detection device. In the case of FIG. 5C, the sensor 30a is installed in each seat of the store, and one or more cameras 30b are used. Is installed on the ceiling of the store. In addition, a total of 12 seats with seat numbers 1 to 12 are provided in the store. For example, for the convenience of a store or a seat, the camera 30b may be covered with a seat where the camera 30b is more efficient (for example, a table seat).
Note that the PC 30c may be used as a vacant seat detection device instead of or in combination with the sensor 30a and the camera 30b. When using the PC 30 c, the person in charge at the store operates the PC 30 c and inputs the vacant seat status confirmed visually or the like to the monitoring device 30. When it is input that the seat is in a non-vacant seat state (that is, a seated state), the monitoring device 30 transmits information indicating that the store ID, the seat number, and the seat are in a non-vacant seat state to the control server 10. To do. In addition, when it is input that the seat has become vacant, the monitoring device 30 transmits information indicating that the store ID, the seat number, and the seat have become vacant to the control server 10.
In addition, when the monitoring device 30 according to the present embodiment is not installed, the sensor 30a, the camera 30b, and the PC 30c have the store ID, the seat number, and the seat in the non-vacant seat state and the vacant seat state with respect to the control server 10. It is also possible to directly transmit information indicating this.
Further, since the camera 30b according to the present embodiment detects the seat availability of the seat based on the image analysis, it is possible to detect the seat availability of a plurality of seats with one camera 30b. For this reason, for example, when the store area is small, or when the camera 30b is an omnidirectional drive type camera and all the seats of the store can be covered by the imaging range, one camera 30b may be installed.

The set value includes “automatic according to the number of seats available”, “fixed value”, and the like.
For example, when “Automatically according to the number of seats” is set, the issuance automatically adjusted so that the expiration date is shorter as the number of seats is larger and the expiration date is longer as the number of seats is smaller, depending on the seat availability. Is done. Further, when “fixed value (arbitrary value)” is set, a privilege for the set expiration date is issued.
Full occupancy treatment 908” is a column for inputting a time when a privilege provided to a full seat user can be used. When the store is full, the user cannot use the privilege immediately. The set values include “issue a privilege that can be used from α (arbitrary value)” and “do not issue a privilege”.
When “Issuing a privilege that can be used from α (arbitrary value)” is set, the privilege can be used after α has elapsed with reference to the current time at that time. On the other hand, when “do not issue a privilege” is set, the privilege is not issued to the user in order to temporarily stop active store attracting when the seats are full.
Registration 909 is a registration button for registering input information.
As described above, the input information input on the new registration screen 600 is stored in the privilege management DB 104a (see FIG. 4).
<Example of digital signage display screen>
FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating an example of a display screen of digital signage according to the present embodiment. The digital signage 20 in FIG. 10 is arranged at a position that is easily visible to the user from outside the store, such as near the entrance of the store.
On the display screen of the digital signage 20, a display area 1001 displays a store logo distributed from the control server 10, a business guide, and the like. Stop appealing to users by appealing the store signboard.
In the display area 1002, the vacant seat information of the store distributed from the control server 10 is displayed in a vacant seat display form of “empty”. By appealing the availability of seats in real time, prompt users to enter the store immediately without waiting.
In the display area 1003, currently available coupon information is displayed as an example of store privilege content data distributed from the control server 10. For example, as shown in “Ready-to-use drink coupon Get! 30% off” and QR code (registered trademark), the benefit is available immediately, the discount rate according to the seat availability at that time, and By showing the access code to the coupon site, the user is further urged to enter the store immediately.
The discount rate varies within a certain range (for example, 10-30%) depending on the seat availability. In other words, when the number of seats in the store is large (the number of seats in the store is large), the discount rate of the coupon presented becomes large, and when there are not many seats available (the number of seats in the store is small) The discount rate of the presented coupon becomes small.
When selecting a restaurant, some users may select a restaurant based on the desires of “whether to enter the store immediately”, “whether seats are available”, or “do not want to wait”.
The user is attracted by the signboard of the digital signage 20 store, and at a glance it can be seen that the store has empty seats. Therefore, since the user can get to the seat immediately after entering the store without waiting time, the user can enter the store with peace of mind. I went there and tried to enter the store, but I never experienced that the seats were not available (they were not full).
In this way, when the seats are vacant, the store side wants to fill the seats more actively as there are more seats. However, it is possible to enter the store without waiting by displaying the seat availability information on the digital signage 20 in real time. You can effectively appeal what you can do.
Also, if there are many vacant seats on the store side, or if you want to fill a vacant seat even a little in the time zone, if there are many vacant seats in the store, coupon information with a large discount rate will be displayed. It is possible to actively entice stores and fill vacancies.
FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating an example of a privilege issue screen of the mobile terminal according to the present embodiment. The portable terminal 40 is a smartphone owned by a store user (customer).
The user reads the QR code (registered trademark) displayed on the digital signage 20 using the portable terminal 40 (FIG. 11A). In the QR code (registered trademark), the URL of the control server 10, the store ID, privilege information, and the like are encoded and embedded, and the information is acquired through an application of the QR code (registered trademark).
Next, when the portable terminal 40 accesses the control server 10 on the cloud via the network 50 based on these pieces of information, coupon information is displayed on the portable terminal 40 (FIG. 11 (B)).
Then, when the user presses “Get Coupon”, a coupon is issued on the screen (FIG. 11C). The user can obtain a privilege such as a discount by presenting the coupon displayed on the mobile terminal 40 to the store.
<Information processing>
Information processing of the control server according to the present embodiment will be described.
(Vacancy information update process)
FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing the vacant seat information update process of the control server according to the present embodiment.
S1: The control server 10 determines whether or not the activation signal including the store ID is received from the monitoring device 30. The monitoring device 30 transmits an activation signal including the store ID to the control server 10 at the time of activation.
S2: The control server 10 executes distribution processing. The distribution process is a process of distributing store signboards, vacant seat information, privilege information, and the like. The distribution process will be described later (see FIG. 12).
S3: The control server 10 determines whether the store ID, the seat number, and the information indicating that the seat is in a non-vacant seat state have been received from the monitoring device 30.
S4: The control server 10 updates the vacant seat information based on the information of S3. That is, in the store specified by the store ID, the vacant seat status (status) of the seat specified by the seat number is changed from a vacant seat state to a non-vacant seat state (for example, “seat number” in FIG. 4 is displayed in bold). As described above, when the monitoring device 30 detects that the seat is in the non-vacant seat state based on the detection signal of the vacant seat detection device, the store ID, the seat number, and the information indicating that the seat is in the non-vacant seat state. Is transmitted to the control server 10.
Next, the process proceeds to S2 again, and distribution processing according to the updated vacant seat information is executed.
(Delivery process)
FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing distribution processing of the control server according to the present embodiment. This distribution process is executed by the distribution unit 102.
S21: The control server 10 refers to the privilege management DB 104a and, based on the store ID, benefits of “privilege management ID”, “privilege content data”, “discount range”, “expiration date”, “handling when full” Get information.
S22: The control server 10 refers to the vacant seat management DB 104b, and acquires vacant seat information of “total seats” and “vacant seats”.
S23: Next, the control server 10 determines the discount rate of the privilege (for example, coupon) presented to the user according to the number of seats in the store. That is, a larger discount rate is determined as the number of vacant seats in the store increases, and a smaller discount rate is determined as the number of vacant seats in the store decreases.
As an example of the determination method, first, since the weight of the number of vacant seats varies depending on the store size, the “vacant seat ratio” is calculated by dividing the “vacant seat count” by the “total seat count”. Then, the minimum value of the “discount range” is associated with the vacancy rate 0% and the maximum value is 100%, and the corresponding “discount range” value can be determined as the discount rate according to the vacancy rate (FIG. 14 ( A)). For example, when the “discount range” is 10% to 30%, the discount rate is 15% when the vacancy rate is 25%, the discount rate is 25% when the vacancy rate is 50%, the discount rate is 25% when the vacancy rate is 75%, When the vacancy rate is 100%, the discount rate is 30%. Note that the vacancy rates corresponding to the “discount range” do not necessarily need to be evenly distributed. For example, the vacancy rates may be biased so that the discount rate increases rapidly as the vacancy rate increases (see FIG. 14B).
S24: Next, the control server 10 determines the expiration date of the privilege (for example, coupon) presented to the user according to the number of seats in the store. That is, when the setting value of “expiration date” acquired in S21 is “automatic according to the number of vacant seats”, it is determined that the expiration date becomes shorter as the number of seats in the store increases, and the number of seats in the store is smaller. Decide to extend the expiration date. If the store wants to fill a vacant seat as soon as possible when there are many vacant seats, the user can be encouraged to enter the store immediately by shortening the expiration date of the privilege.
Note that the range of the expiration date can hold a predetermined range period in advance on the control server 10 side, for example, 30 minutes (short usage time) to 2 hours (longest usage expiration date) in consideration of convenience on the store side. . However, it is also possible for the store side to adopt an appropriate value for the specific expiration date according to the rule of thumb, etc. The minimum usage time is 10 minutes, the maximum usage date is today, etc. It can also be determined. The control server 10 determines the expiration date according to the number of vacant seats in the store from the range of the expiration date given in advance.
On the other hand, when the set value of “expiration date” acquired in S21 is a fixed value (for example, 30 minutes), the fixed value may be followed.
S25: Next, the control server 10 delivers a store signboard, vacant seat information, and coupon information to the digital signage 20 (see FIG. 10).
Specifically, for store signboards, it is only necessary to distribute images and videos of store predetermined signboards. The vacant seat information is distributed in a form according to the vacant seat display form 605 based on the vacant seat information acquired in S22 (FIG. 6). The coupon information includes “privilege content data” and the discount rate determined in S23, the URL of the control server 10, “privilege management ID” (or store ID), the discount rate determined in S23, and It is distributed as a QR code (registered trademark) in which information on the expiration date determined in S24 is embedded.
In S23, if there is no vacant seat based on the vacant seat information acquired in S22 (when the seats are full), the lowest discount rate of the “discount range” is determined in S23, and the longest expiration date is determined in S24. Also, coupon information is issued according to the “handle when full” acquired in S21. For example, in the case of “issue a privilege that can be used from the next day”, “Drink coupon Get! That can be used from the next day” can be displayed in the display area 1003 of FIG. When the user is full, if the user visits the store immediately, waiting for a vacant seat will occur, and the store does not have to be as active as it is.
In addition, the information embedded in the QR code (registered trademark) is merely an example, and it is sufficient that the user can read the information with the mobile terminal 40 and finally issue a coupon.
(Bonus issue processing)
FIG. 15 is a flowchart showing privilege issue processing of the control server according to the present embodiment. The issue unit 103 executes the privilege issue process.
S31: The control server 10 determines whether or not a privilege issue request has been received from the mobile terminal 40. If received, the process proceeds to S32. The issue request includes information on the privilege management ID (or store ID) embedded in the QR code (registered trademark), the discount rate, and the expiration date.
S32: The control server 10 refers to the privilege management DB 104a, and acquires privilege information of “privilege content data”, “number of issues”, and “number issued today” based on the privilege management ID (or store ID).
S33: The control server 10 refers to the vacant seat management DB 104b and acquires vacant seat information of “the number of vacant seats”.
S34: The control server 10 determines whether or not {“issued number” − “number issued today >> 0} is satisfied. If established, the process proceeds to S35. If not, the process proceeds to S37.
Here, regarding the “issued number”, when the set value is “for the number of vacant seats” as shown in FIG. 4, the value of “the number of vacant seats” acquired in S33 is input. For example, in the case of “the number of vacant seats + 20%”, the value of “{number of vacant seats” + “number of vacant seats” × 0.2} acquired in S33 is input.
And, if the value of “issued today” is subtracted from the value of “issued today” is the current issuable number, and the current issuable number is a positive number, the currently available number still remains, That is, a privilege can be issued. On the other hand, when the current issuable number is not a positive number, the present issuable number does not remain, that is, the privilege cannot be issued.
Since the store side intends to fill the current vacancies by issuing as many awards as the number of vacancies (for example, coupons), the number of awards issued is determined based on the current number of vacancies, Specifically, benefits equal to the number of vacant seats or the number of vacant seats plus α are issued. In other words, when the number of vacant seats is large, the number of issued seats is large. Thus, for example, if the current number of vacant seats is 30, the number of benefits issued (for example, coupons) is 30 or 30 + α. For example, if the current number of vacant seats is 5, 5 sheets or 5 + α sheets.
If the number of benefits issued is unlimited, the seats that were vacant due to the benefits will soon become full, and the customer satisfaction of users who could not enter the store may decrease.
Also, the reason why the “number issued today” is subtracted from the “number issued” is to take into consideration the possibility that the previously issued benefits will be used. For example, when 10 coupons have already been issued at the time of the vacant seat 30 at the time of the previous vacant seat 40, the number of coupons to be issued (distributed) at the time of the vacant seat 30 is 20 (= 30-10). ). This is a calculation that fills the vacant seat 30 by using a total of 30 coupons of 10 tickets that have already been issued and 20 tickets that can be issued at the time of the previous vacant seat 30.
S35: The control server 10 issues a privilege. Specifically, a screen of a privilege voucher including “privilege content data”, a discount rate, an expiration date, and the like is generated and transmitted to the mobile terminal 40 (see FIG. 11C).
S36: The control server 10 counts up the “number issued today” and updates the privilege management DB 104a.
S37: The control server 10 notifies that the privilege cannot be issued. For example, a screen such as “coupon distribution has ended” can be generated and transmitted to the mobile terminal 40.
<About sensor installation under the table>
As described above, by installing the sensor 30a in each seat and the camera 30b on the store ceiling or wall as the vacant seat detection device, the monitoring device 30 can detect that the seat has become vacant / non-vacant. It is possible (see, for example, FIG. 5).
However, in stores that are particular about interior design and privacy protection, such as high-end restaurants, for example, it may be difficult to install sensors on seats and cameras on the ceiling or walls.
Therefore, in order to urge the introduction of the digital signage system 100 to such a store, it is possible to attach the sensor 30a under the table so as not to enter the user's field of view. In other words, the sensor 30a under the table detects a person's feet (including parts below the waist, such as toes, ankles, lower legs, knees, thighs, etc.) to detect the seating, and the seat is in an empty / non-vacant state. It detects that it became.
FIG. 16 is a diagram illustrating an example of a sensor specification according to the present embodiment. In the sensor 30a of FIG. 16, the angle at which the internal sensor faces is 27 degrees in the vertical direction (SIDE VIEW) and 20 degrees in the left and right direction (TOP VIEW), respectively. The light receiving angle is a vertical angle of 54 degrees and a horizontal angle of 40 degrees. Note that the actual detection range (also referred to as a detection range) varies depending on the distance to the detection point (in the case of FIG. 16, the XY cross-section point 2 meters ahead), and the detection range increases as the distance increases.
(Basic installation example)
FIG. 17 is a diagram illustrating a sensor basic installation example (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. It is assumed that one person sits in the left-right direction toward FIG. FIG. 18 is a diagram illustrating a sensor basic installation example (TOP VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. It is assumed that one person sits in the back and in front of FIG.
In addition, the table 50 according to the present embodiment is a general café table, and the table base has a size of 750 mm × 750 mm and a height of 650 mm. The same shall apply hereinafter. The sensor 30 a is installed on the lower surface (back surface) of the table 50. The lower surface includes a plate surface on the back side opposite to the upper surface (front surface) of the table base on which food and drinks are arranged, and a table leg (particularly near the base between the table base and the leg). Two chairs (seats) provided as a set on the cafe table 50 are arranged facing each other, and two users are seated on each chair.
In this case, since it is 650 mm from the bottom of the table 50 to the floor, the human detection range (detectable range) is a rectangular range of 662 mm × 473 mm on the floor. Within this range, only the area under the table can be detected, and only the feet of the person sitting can be detected. There is no false detection of people who pass around or around the table or seat, and there is no false detection of people at the next table installed side by side. That is, the area under the table is a detection range, which is a detection range that is sufficient and appropriate for detecting only the feet of a person sitting.
However, on the other hand, when you are sitting away from the table by pulling a chair, or when you are sitting but bending your knees and turning your toes behind the chair, it may be difficult to detect depending on the sitting posture There is also. On the other hand, when the detection range exceeds the table lower area, there is a possibility that a non-seat person such as a simple pedestrian around the table may be erroneously detected. Therefore, the sensor 30a mounting position, the elevation angle that is the inclination (installation angle) of the lens from the right angle with respect to the table, and the light receiving angle that can be detected by the sensor are appropriately adjusted according to different table environments at each store. Thus, the accuracy of seating detection can be further improved.
Hereinafter, based on the above sensor basic installation example, how to adjust the sensor 30a for each of the following cases will be specifically described.
(Adjustment example 1) Adjustment according to the number and position of seats to be detected FIG. 19 is a diagram showing a sensor adjustment example 1-1 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG. 19, when only one seat is to be detected, the elevation angle of the sensor 30a is increased (the elevation angle is changed from 0 degrees to 15 degrees) and / or the light reception angle of the sensor 30a is narrowed. For example, in order to aim only at the person on the right side, if the elevation angle is 15 degrees and the light receiving angle is narrow (small) as 30 degrees in the vertical direction, the detection range is 375 mm above the floor, so a person sitting on one seat on one side Can be accurately detected.
The elevation angle indicates the angle at which the sensor is installed. When the sensor is directed straight down the table, the elevation angle is 0 degree, and when the sensor is inclined at a certain angle, the angle is the angle (see FIG. 20). .
FIG. 21 is a diagram showing a sensor adjustment example 1-2 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG. 21, when it is desired to detect only one seat, half of the detection range can be shielded so that the detection range of the basic installation (FIG. 19) is half of one person on one side. is there. As a result, the light receiving angle is 27 degrees in the vertical direction, and the detection range is 331 mm above the half of the floor, so that only one seat on one side can be detected. The term “blocking” refers to covering with a blocking material that does not transmit infrared rays. For example, half of the lens can be covered with a semi-circular part of resin.
On the other hand, if you want to detect multiple seats, such as two seats facing each other with high accuracy, increase the elevation angle and / or increase the light reception angle. In addition to the two seats facing the table 50, the seats for two people are added in the right-angle direction, so that the light receiving angle is widened when the table 50 has four seats.
(Adjustment Example 2) Adjustment According to Table Height FIG. 22 is a diagram showing a sensor adjustment example 2-1 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. FIG. 23 is a diagram illustrating a sensor adjustment example 2-2 (TOP SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. In the case of a tall table, the elevation angle is made shallower and / or the light receiving angle is made narrower in order to prevent false detection.
For example, in the case of a tall counter table with a height of 900 mm, if the light receiving angle is narrowed from a vertical angle of 58 degrees to a horizontal angle of 38 degrees and a horizontal direction of 40 degrees to 30 degrees, the table is 900 mm away from the bottom of the table. The detection range is 620 mm × 482 mm on the floor. (FIGS. 22 and 23)
FIG. 24 is a diagram illustrating a sensor adjustment example 2-3 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIGS. 22 and 23, when the elevation angle is tilted 8 degrees in the direction of the counter table wall without changing the light receiving angle of the sensor 30a, the detection range 900 mm away from the bottom of the table is 685 mm × 655 mm above the floor.
Even if the table is tall by these methods, only the area under the table is the detection range (because it does not become the detection range outside the table lower area), so people who pass around or around the table or seat are mistakenly Only the feet of the person who is seated can be detected accurately without detection.
FIG. 25 is a diagram showing a sensor adjustment example 2-2 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. In the case of a short table, in order to increase detection accuracy, the elevation angle is increased and / or the light receiving angle is increased.
For example, in the case of a low table with a table height of 400 mm, if the light receiving angle of the sensor 30a is widened (increased) to a vertical angle of 76.4 degrees and a horizontal angle of 53.2 degrees, The detection range of 400 mm ahead is 630 mm × 400 mm on the floor. As a result, even if the table is short, the detection range covers most of the area under the table, so that the feet of the person sitting can be detected with high accuracy. In order to widen the light receiving angle, another sensor of the same type with a wide light receiving angle, which is different from the one shown in FIG. 16, is used.
FIG. 26 is a diagram showing a sensor adjustment example 2-3 (SIDE VIEW direction) according to the present embodiment. It is assumed that one person sits in the left-right direction toward FIG.
When the table is a low table with a height of 400 mm, it is possible to install two sensors 30a (for example, sensor 1 and sensor 2). For example, if the elevation angle of each sensor 30a is 27 degrees and the light receiving angle is 54 degrees in the vertical direction, the detection range is 1100 mm in total, which is 550 mm above the floor. Chairs (seats) provided as a set on a low table are also often of a low type, and even if a person is seated, their feet may not be under the table. However, even in such a case, by setting the detection range slightly beyond the table lower area toward the chair direction, it is possible to accurately detect the feet of the person sitting.
(Adjustment Example 3) Adjustment according to the relationship between the table and the chair If the chair is a type of foot that fits under the table, such as a counter chair, the elevation angle is shallow and / or the light receiving angle is used to prevent false detection. To narrow.
A counter table with a table height of 900 mm, the elevation angle is 0 degree, the light receiving angle is 38 degrees in the vertical direction, the horizontal angle is 20 degrees, and the detection range of 900 mm from the bottom of the table is 620 mm × 315 mm (see FIG. 22).
If it is a sofa-type chair, in order to increase detection accuracy, the elevation angle is deepened and / or the light receiving angle is widened. This is because the sofa type is a chair of a type in which the distance and distance between the table and the sofa are wide and the feet are difficult to enter under the table. For example, when the table height is 400 mm, using another sensor of the same type with a wide light receiving angle, the light receiving angle is set to a vertical angle of 96 degrees and a horizontal angle of 45 degrees, and the detection range is set to 888 nn × 400 mm. By securing a detection range wider than the table size, it is possible to accurately detect the feet of the person sitting on the sofa (FIG. 27). In addition, it is possible to secure a detection range wider than the table size by installing two sensors 30a (see FIG. 26). Even if the detection range is wider than the table size, it is sufficient if it is a range that reaches the position of the sofa body at the maximum.
If a detection range wider than the table size is secured, a person who walks around the table in a non-seated situation can place or store a chair so that the detection range of the sensor 30a is shielded when not seated. It is possible to prevent erroneous detection. Furthermore, the distance between the table and the sofa may be set at an interval that makes it difficult to walk. In this case, a sensor that does not transmit the chair material is selected.
(Adjustment example 4) Adjustment according to the table shape In the case of a table such as a round table of Chinese cuisine, the light receiving element is made to correspond to a circle, and the detection range is made circular, thereby enabling detection in units of tables. As a result, only the feet of the person sitting around the round table can be accurately detected.
In addition, although the spot-type human sensor was used for the sensor 30a which concerns on the above-mentioned embodiment, the type of sensor is not necessarily restricted only to this.
For example, when using a sensor for detecting vibration and a distance measuring sensor, the vibration is detected by the chair based on the seating motion of the person by the vibration sensor, and the distance is measured by the distance sensor when the vibration is detected. The distance measurement sensor is attached to the backrest and seat, and the distance to the human body is measured when vibration is detected. Furthermore, regarding the detection of vibration, the accuracy is improved by taking into account the vibration continuation holding time indicating whether or not vibration has been detected for a certain period of time.
For example, when using a vibration detection sensor and a weight sensor, the vibration is detected by the chair by the vibration detection sensor, and the weight of the chair is measured by the weight sensor at the detected timing.
As described above, by installing the sensor 30a under the table, it is possible to detect that the seat of the store is vacant / non-vacant while ensuring the interior design and the privacy protection of the store user. Is possible.
