Abstract

Rotating organizing device which allows optimizing the space intended as a working area and a more efficient use of time. It comprises a support structure which in turns comprises a base intended for being fixed onto a laboratory table or another surface, a structural element or cylindrical casing comprising two axes placed in parallel and in opposite facing positions intended for attaching rotating elements and providing stability to the organizing device. Several trays are hinged to the support base, where at least two of them are each independently fastened to an axis, and a plurality of bolts attach the trays to the support base.

Description

ROTATING ORGANIZER FOR MATERIALS, LABORATORY DEVICES
AND OTHER OBJECTS
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention may be included in the technical field of supporting and holding devices, as well as that of the supports for test tubes, and it refers to a rotating organizing device for laboratory implements which allows optimizing the space used as the working area, and a more efficient use of time by locating all the materials in the same place.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In any installation such as a research laboratory it is necessary to be provided with a great amount of materials and objects, as for example pipettes, containing flasks, tubes, burners, etc., which must be easily available and within reach for use thereof, without implying an obstacle or hindrance which may negatively influence the laboratory operation. Most of the devices for organizing the laboratory objects incorporate systems such as individual supports, containers and bases, which may occupy too much space inside the laboratory or most of the tables.
It is known that there are organizers, in the current state of the art, which are related to mountable drawers or supports being fixed to a wall comprising removable or semi-fixed spaces and boxes, being overlapped or bolted. Others use fragile glass doors with little security. Furthermore, this type of systems occupies a lot of space in a wall and others do not open widely. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention refers to a rotating organizing device intended for being fixed onto a surface, wherein the spaces or drawers are deployed over the respective axes thereof, which are fastened by bolts or small sliding gears.
With that purpose, the rotating organizing device for laboratory implements or other objects comprises:
a) a support structure, comprising in turn:
- a base intended for being fixed onto a laboratory table and - a structural element or casing, preferably with a cylindrical geometry, comprising two axes located in parallel and at opposite facing positions intended for attaching the rotating elements, preferably hinges, and providing stability to the organizing device. b) a plurality of trays hinged to the support structure, where at least two of them are each independently fastened to an axis, and c) a plurality of bolts for attaching the trays to the support structure.
The main object of the present invention is to organize laboratory implements being mostly used in a single place, and separately, so as to avoid losing space and to reduce the distances to the place where the implements are to be taken from and returned. This is a device with a configuration which allows containing the implements easily in an organized manner and without moving from the working area.
The device thus described does not interfere with the individual functionality of the different implements once installed, which makes use thereof to be comfortable and easy to handle.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 .- It shows a schematic view of the organizing device in the closed configuration thereof. Fig. 2.- it shows a schematic view of the organizing device in the open configuration thereof, wherein the main constituting elements thereof can be seen.
Fig. 3.- It shows a detailed view of the upper closing cover.
Fig. 4.- It shows a detailed view of one tray of the device.
Fig. 5.- it shows a detailed view of a base for holding calculators. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is, with the help of the figures referred to above, a detailed explanation of a preferred embodiment of the object of the present invention. The rotating organizing device for laboratory implements being described, schematically shown in figures 1 and two, comprises a support structure (1 ), which in turn comprises a base (2) and a structural element (3), a plurality of trays (4) hinged to the support structure (1 ), and a corresponding plurality of bolts (5) for attaching the trays (4) with the support structure (1 ). The base (2) is intended for resting onto a surface, preferably a laboratory table or the like. The structural element (3) comprises in turn two parallel axes (6) being parallel and opposite to each other, in such a way they are facing each other, these axes (6) being intended for attaching rotating elements (4) and general stabilization of the device. In this preferred embodiment, the rotating elements (4) are corresponding hinges. Figure 3 shows a detailed view of the upper closing cover (8) of the support structure (1 ), which has an essentially cylindrical geometry. Said cover (8) comprises a plurality of orifices (9) wherein suspending bags (10) are located for accommodating flasks and similar containers. It is also contemplated to provide the lid (8) with a chronometers base (1 1 ) intended for housing a chronometer or similar time measuring device.
According to the requirements, the trays (4) are retracted and deployed with respect to the support structure (1 ) thanks to the rotating elements (7), which, as mentioned above, are corresponding hinges.
Figure 4 shows a detail of the embodiment of a tray (4), of an essentially circular geometry, having a plurality of peripheral housings (12) for inserting the laboratory pipettes, wherein said pipettes may have a variety of geometries and dimensions, such as for example simple pipettes and multi-pipettes with eight and twelve tips.
An alternative embodiment of the tray (4), not shown in the attached figures, comprises housings (12) intended for accommodating tubes of the type being employed for making reactions, preferably with a capacity of 0,2, 0,5 and 1 ,5 ml. The container arrangement could be that allowing 180Q rotation, vertically, for the users not to introduce their hand into the container, but to pour the tube or object onto a surface or other device or collecting material when working in a laboratory or another place where it is required to avoid contaminations.
Figure 5 shows a holding base for calculators (13) being couples to the support structure (1 ). As it can be seen, the calculator holding base (13) comprises a plate (14) with an essentially polygonal geometry, with perimetral walls (15) and adjusting springs (16) which immobilize calculators of different sizes and geometries.
