Abstract

La présente invention concerne une bande de protection contre la compression d'un garrot chirurgical qui peut empêcher un endommagement de la peau, des nerfs, des vaisseaux sanguins, et de tissu sous-cutané en atténuant légèrement la pression appliquée par le garrot qui est porté sur un bras ou une jambe pendant une chirurgie orthopédique. La bande de protection contre la compression de la présente invention peut être configurée sous la forme d'un cylindre de façon à renfermer les bras ou les jambes d'un utilisateur, et comprend : une partie protection contre la compression sur laquelle le garrot doit être enroulé et qui protège le tissu corporel de la pression appliquée au corps de l'utilisateur ; et une partie extension arrière reliée à la partie protection contre la compression.
