  • the trademark or company logo printed directly on the cardboard of the core shows feeble, fade, not brilliant and therefore it is not appreciated.
  • the manufacturer trademark or company logo is printed directly on the paper for instance, but this solution in some countries in the world is prohibited or anyway is unacceptable, and it is therefore a solution not appreciated by paper roll manufacturers, because it is not suitable for multicolor trademark and moreover it is a limiting solution for the creative customization of the manufacturers of paper rolls.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a cheaper production apparatus for cardboard cores with only one strip, characterized by low maintenance costs, but however reliable, of simple construction, and low power consumption.
  • a further object of the present invention is to obtain a cardboard core minimizing use of cardboard in comparison of prior art, thus being of limited costs.

  • the paper strip 10 can be suitable for rotogravure printing with four or five or more colors, or with flexography, or possibly with other digital systems.
  • a single raw cardboard strip 20 is unwound by a reel holder 2, being part of the apparatus object of the present invention, and will be spiral wound around the spindle 50 of the tubing machine 5 and will form the support structure of the cardboard core of invention, while said paper strip 10 will be glued to the two edges of the raw cardboard paper strip 20, which will be placed side by side on the spindle 50 during the forming of the cardboard core.
  • the apparatus disclosed further comprises a moistening means 3 such a anilox group 30, having the function of moistening through its roll 31 the gummed area 100 arranged on the lower side of the paper strip 10, in such a way to make it sticky, allowing the gluing of the paper strip 10 to the two edges of the raw cardboard strip 20 placed side by side forming the contact line between them.
  • the anilox group 30 is made with inox steel mechanic carpentry, worked through a machine tool and comprises a tank 32 containing a liquid, water in particular, constantly kept at a suitable temperature between 31°C and 44°C, such a temperature of water being suitable for activating gum of the gummed area 100.
  • the anilox group 30 is further provided with a pressure doctor blade 32 on the roll 31 of the anilox group
  • said wiping blade having the function of adjusting the water flow on the gummed area 100 of the paper strip 10.
  • the roll 31 of the anilox group 30 is being rotated by a brushless motor, suitable for varying the rotation speed of the roll 31 depending on the unwinding speed of the paper strip 10 by known means.
  • An alternative moistening means 3 can be a liquid nebulizer comprising as well a liquid tank, in particular water, also in this case constantly kept at a suitable temperature between 31°C and 44°C, such a temperature of water is suitable for activating gum of the gummed area 100.

  • the apparatus object of the present invention comprises furthermore, following the moistening means 3, a strip driving group 4 provided with a plurality of rolls 40 arranged at suitable heights and mutual distances, said rollers 40 allowing to align in the correct mode the paper strip 10 and the raw cardboard strip 20, in particular the strip driving group 4 arranges the paper strip 10 to cover preferably with its half width and to lay down over the raw cardboard strip 20, gluing near the entrance of the spindle 50 by its gummed area 100 already moistened by the moistening means 3, as shown in figure 3.

  • the cardboard core according to the present invention is arranged with a raw cardboard strip 20, being spiral wound, wherein the edges of the raw cardboard strip 20, being not overlapped, but being mutually placed side by side, forming a contact line. Furthermore said core provides for a paper strip 10, for instance glossy white or any other color paper, which adheres, gluing through the gummed area 100, to the side by side placed raw cardboard strip 20 edges, covering said contact line between the two edges.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de fabrication de partie centrale en carton tubulaire comprenant un élément de support de bobine d'une bande de papier afin de permettre le retrait d'un groupe de colle pour la production d'une partie centrale en carton, une bande de papier recouvrant la ligne de contact entre les bords de la bande de carton brut étant déjà enroulée en spirale. L'invention concerne également le procédé de fabrication de partie centrale en carton tubulaire et la partie centrale en carton tubulaire fabriquée.
