Definitions
- the present invention relates to an RF card using apparatus, and more particularly, to an RF card activating device that can be used as a payment or communication card only with a specific RF card when carrying a plurality of RF cards.
- a terminal (particularly a traffic terminal) having an RFID reader for a smart card using 13.56 MHz has no display for displaying information of a smart card or a display made of a FND or a small LCD and a loop antenna for RFID.
- a smart card is an electronic credit card that can contain a large amount of information by mounting an integrated circuit (IC) memory device.
- IC integrated circuit
- the ISO standard refers to all cards in which one or more ICs are embedded. Developed in France, it is used for financial institutions, health insurance cards, transportation cards and credit cards. Also called an IC card or chip card.
- magnétique card Compared to the existing magnetic card (magnetic card), it has a very large memory capacity, high function and stability.
- Smart cards are roughly classified into memory type smart cards, microprocessor built-in smart cards, and interactive smart cards.
- Memory type smart card is a smart card that does not have a built-in microprocessor, and there is a method that includes security logic in addition to the memory that is mainly used in the fields that can be treated as securities such as public telephone cards or goods purchase rights. There is also a built-in memory for pure data storage, such as health insurance cards.
- a smart card with a built-in microprocessor is a smart card that performs advanced functions such as judgment, operation, and data protection by embedding a microprocessor and memory.
- An interactive smart card is equipped with a microprocessor, memory, I / O protocol, and application programs It is a smart card that can transmit information interactively.
- the size of the RFID antenna has been relatively small in recent years due to the tendency of the display to grow as large as the front part of the terminal due to the development of display technology, UI, product design, and the like.
- a wireless contactless RF card has already established itself as a representative payment method in place of money.
- RF passive cards (hereinafter referred to as RF cards)
- RF cards It is common to perform data communication with an RF reader using a half-duplex method or a full-duplex method.
- the reference resonant frequency, power supply method, and data transmission method used are determined by the specifications of the RF chip indicated by the data carrier, matching the resonant frequency with the RF reader antenna, and smooth power with the reader such as induced electromotive force and sensitivity.
- the communication interaction may be determined by the design and the material of the passive antenna represented by the coupling element.
- a prepaid transportation card issued by a bus transportation card operator and a credit card postpaid transportation card issued by a particular credit card company.
- the RF reader terminal does not know which of the two cards to pay, so even if you make an error or pay with one card Does not know what card it is.
- the user should select a card to be paid and withdraw it from the wallet and make a payment to the RF reader terminal separately.
- Some RF passive card chips have a kind of anti-collision function that can distinguish each other when they are on a single RF reader, but the reader communicates with one card at a time for communication between the card and the reader. In the above case, it is possible to make a payment for both cards. Therefore, when a plurality of identical function cards exist, it is normal to handle an error and not make a payment.
- An object of the present invention for solving this problem is to provide an RF card activating device for making a payment to a card desired by the user from a plurality of RF passive cards.
- the present invention also provides an RF card activation apparatus for distinguishing cards that do not want data communication with an RF reader among a plurality of RF passive cards so as not to communicate with each other, and allowing only one card to communicate with the reader. For other purposes.

- the selection device includes a first pocket on the front surface of the magnetic force reinforcing layer and a second pocket on the front surface of the interference prevention layer, and the center of the RF card accommodated in the second pocket is stored on the central axis of the interference prevention layer. .
- the RF card activation apparatus of the present invention when using a public transport such as bus, subway, taxi by holding a plurality of RF cards, the user pulls out a specified card separately due to a recognition error or error processing of the payment RF reader. This can address the concerns of personal security exposure, such as the time and behavioral user inconvenience that needs to be confirmed, and the opening of wallets among many people.
- the card designated by the user with the external RF reader is most used as a means of public transportation, and at the same time located on the front of the wallet or pocket that stores the card Cards are very likely to be the most used means of payment for cards withdrawal and payment in other data interfaces such as magnetic readers or ISO7816 based contact IC card readers, rather than RF readers. It can be an effective way to meet the aggressive marketing of credit card companies that encourage card use.
- the RF card activation device of the present invention as a way to minimize the inconvenience of the user and increase the usability of a particular card from a number of cards, the user of the same function without having a separate card withdrawal Only the desired card can be used as a payment or communication card.
