For instance, in case of multiple customers paying for a single amount, different payment modes may be selected by the different customers to complete the payment. For example, one of the customers may select internet banking option, while another customer may select cash on delivery option. Further, in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the customer may decide to pay his share of amount by multiple of payment modes, i.e. the customer may pay a percentage (portion) of his share by cash on delivery mode and remaining amount by the online payment mode.

  • the vendor who is registered with the system of the present invention, receives the benefit of being charged a lower transaction fees based on accumulative number of payment transactions for multiple vendors who are also registered with the system portal.

  • all payment gateway service charges are solely based on the amount of money transacted along with number of transactions, the customers/vendors can use orders from multiple vendors to lessen down the service fee.
  • the present invention also encompasses a unique 'money transfer' option for transactions, particularly in between the wallets or through VISA payment or MasterCard, wherein said transaction may be performed through various technologies including Internet, Mobile communication, Bluetooth, etc.
  • Step 212 and 214 illustrate making the payment by the customer/s according to the selected payment mode options and completing the online order of the selected item.

  • the present invention further encompasses a safe, transparent and reliable payment method of online payment customization by enabling a 'refund/return' option in case of an unsuccessful order. This ensures that the payment will be sent/transferred to respective customer's wallet or bank account.

More particularly, it represents creating of a single party order by inviting multiple of customers/guests, wherein the payment of the order placed may be customized based on specific customer requirements. For instance, a group of friends purchasing a surprise gift for their friend's birthday may decide to pay their respective share using various payment modes available for the online shopping according to the present invention.

  • the host customer using the host device [104], selects at least one product/good/item to be ordered.
  • at least one guest is selected from a list of guests stored in the host device [104] for subsequently inviting for payment of the order placed by the host.
  • each of the selected guest is allowed to modify the ordered product by adding/deleting one or more products/goods/items or the quantities of the party order created.
  • the order may be completed when the host customer makes the payment of the party order. Else, at step 310, the order may be completed by the guests when each of the at least one guest makes the payment of the party order.
  • the payment of the ordered product is completed at step 314 in accordance with the embodiments of the present invention as described earlier.
  • the present invention encompasses a feature wherein the host customer is provided with an option to decide the method/mode of the payment. In other words, the host customer may decide if each individual guest is required to pay the share individually or the entire amount is required to be paid by the host.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour personnaliser le paiement d'une commande en ligne d'au moins un article. L'invention englobe un serveur centralisé [102] configuré pour transmettre une demande de paiement de la commande en ligne à un dispositif hôte [104]. Selon les modes de réalisation de la présente invention, le dispositif hôte [104] délègue en outre la demande de paiement à un contact sélectionné sur un dispositif destinataire [106]. Le contact sélectionné reçoit et traite la demande de paiement pour effectuer le paiement du ou des articles en utilisant au moins un mode de paiement.
