More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a frame that assists with guided sit to stand function, fall protection, balance, and walking exercises.

- the counter balance or weight can be used to assist those individuals who have decreased or diminished strength to transition between the sitting and standing positions on non-automated units.

- the adjustable plate(s) can be attached to another layer of the support frame system 102 or can be on the same layer as the lower layer 137.
- the adjustable plate(s) can be a top layer of the support frame system 102.
- the adjustable plates when there is more than one adjustable plate, the adjustable plates can be on the same and/or different layers of the support frame system 102.
- the adjustable plate(s) can be on the same or different layers than the enclosure arms 107. As illustrated in Figure 7, an adjustable slide plate 138 can be on the same level as the enclosure arms 107 and an adjustable arm plate 139 can be above the enclosure arms 107. In some embodiments, the adjustable slide plate 138 and adjustable arm plate 139 can be on the same level. In some embodiments, the adjustable slide plate 138 and adjustable arm plate 139 can be an integral piece. In some embodiments, the adjustable slide plate 138 and the adjustable arm plate 139 can be discrete pieces.
- the adjustable slide plate 138 can be positioned on the front portion of the support frame system 102 opposite from the opening 123.
- the individual enters the support frame system through opening 123.

- the adjustable slide plate 138 can have an interior cutout 142.
- the cutout 142 can be any shape that accommodates the individual's torso, for example, arcuate, ergonomic, elliptical, semi-circular, or the like. In some embodiments, the interior surface of the adjustable slide plate would touch the torso of the individual.
- the adjustable arm plate 139 can be positioned to be on the side of the individual. There can be one or more arm plates 139. There can be an arm plate 139 on each side of the individual.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un système d'assistance ambulatoire qui facilite l'exécution de manière indépendante de l'exercice de passage de la position assise à la position debout pour une utilisation à domicile ou dans des centres de thérapie et qui peut avoir un impact minimal en termes de structure. Des barres parallèles optionnelles peuvent être articulées pour permettre un mouvement par rapport à l'horizontale. Les barres parallèles peuvent être fixées dans une position horizontale et le mécanisme de fixation optionnel peut être relâché à distance. Un système de cadre de support entoure au moins partiellement la personne et lui permet d'effectuer une rotation d'un angle allant jusqu'à 360° alors qu'elle se trouve dans le système de cadre de support.
