Abstract

La présente invention concerne des pigments multicouches nacrés offrant une transition de couleur contrastée lors du changement de l'angle d'observation ou lors du changement des conditions d'éclairage, lesquels sont obtenus à partir d'un substrat transparent colorés par un pigment métamères ou une combinaison métamère de pigments, ceci en y appliquant au moins une couche diélectrique ayant un effet d'interférence qui donne une teinte différente selon différents angles d'observation, ou au moins deux couches diélectriques ayant un effet d'interférence qui réfléchissent au moins deux sections différentes du spectre visible sous un même angle d'observation. Le substrat transparent teinté est obtenu à partir d'une solution colloïde tensioactive d'une substance liante contenant des pigments métamères à ultradispersion avec un diamètre des particules inférieur à 80 nm. Le substrat obtenu permet de réduire la diffusion Fresnel de la lumière et de renforcer le contraste de changement de couleur réfractée par par les couches diélectriques lors du changement d'angle d'observation ou du changement des conditions d'éclairage.
