Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a vehicle body front structure.
  • This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2016-122015 filed on June 20, 2016, the contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
  • a structure in which a brake pedal (hereinafter referred to as a pedal assembly) is twisted by an impact load input from the front of the vehicle body and a mounting bracket is deformed to interfere with the pedal assembly is known.
  • a pedal assembly By twisting the pedal assembly and deforming the mounting bracket to interfere with the pedal assembly, it is possible to suppress the movement of the pedal portion toward the rear of the vehicle body.
  • By suppressing the movement of the pedal portion toward the rear of the vehicle body it is possible to avoid the occupant's feet from interfering with the pedal when an impact load is input from the front of the vehicle body (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
  • Patent Document 1 needs to twist the pedal assembly and further deform the mounting bracket in order to prevent the passenger's foot from interfering with the pedal part. For this reason, the structure of the vehicle body front part structure is complicated, and there is room for improvement from this viewpoint.
  • An aspect according to the present invention has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle body front structure that can avoid an occupant's foot from interfering with a pedal portion with a simple configuration. To do.

As a vehicle body front structure, a structure in which a brake pedal (hereinafter referred to as a pedal assembly) is twisted by an impact load input from the front of the vehicle body and a mounting bracket is deformed to interfere with the pedal assembly is known. By twisting the pedal assembly and deforming the mounting bracket to interfere with the pedal assembly, it is possible to suppress the movement of the pedal portion toward the rear of the vehicle body.
By suppressing the movement of the pedal portion toward the rear of the vehicle body, it is possible to avoid the occupant's feet from interfering with the pedal when an impact load is input from the front of the vehicle body (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2006-315449
However, the vehicle body front part structure of Patent Document 1 needs to twist the pedal assembly and further deform the mounting bracket in order to prevent the passenger's foot from interfering with the pedal part. For this reason, the structure of the vehicle body front part structure is complicated, and there is room for improvement from this viewpoint.
An aspect according to the present invention has been made in consideration of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle body front structure that can avoid an occupant's foot from interfering with a pedal portion with a simple configuration. To do.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention employs the following aspects.
(1) A vehicle body front structure according to an aspect of the present invention includes a dash lower panel that partitions a vehicle compartment and an engine room, a floor tunnel that extends from the dash lower panel toward the rear of the vehicle body, and an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the floor tunnel. A pedal assembly having a mounting bracket that is positioned and attached to the dash lower panel, and a reinforcing member that has one end overlapping the mounting bracket and that is attached to the dash lower panel from the engine room side. The mounting bracket is mounted, a vertical wall that forms a vertical corner portion at the intersection with the floor tunnel, and a horizontal corner portion that extends from the vertical wall to the vehicle compartment and at the intersection with the vertical wall. And the reinforcing member is provided along the vertical corner portion and the horizontal corner portion. Has a corner portion which is bent in an L-shape.
Thus, the corner part of the reinforcing member was provided in the vertical corner part and the horizontal corner part. Therefore, when the power unit (for example, transmission) in the engine room moves rearward of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the reinforcing member can be deformed so as to fall toward the rear of the vehicle body with the corner portion as the center. Thereby, the edge part of a reinforcement member can be moved toward a vehicle body back.
Moreover, it attached so that the edge part of a reinforcement member might overlap with an attachment bracket. Therefore, the mounting bracket can be moved toward the rear of the vehicle body together with the end portion of the reinforcing member. By moving the mounting bracket toward the rear of the vehicle body, the pedal portion of the pedal assembly can be moved toward the front of the vehicle body. Thereby, a pedal part can be separated from a passenger | crew's leg | foot and it can avoid that a passenger | crew's leg | foot interferes with a pedal part.
Furthermore, it is possible to avoid the occupant's feet from interfering with the pedal portion with a simple configuration in which the end portion of the reinforcing member is overlapped with the mounting bracket and the corner portion is provided on the reinforcing member.
(2) In the aspect of the above (1), further comprising a dash cross member provided on the vertical wall and provided to overlap the one end of the reinforcing member, and the mounting bracket is attached to the dash cross member. You may have an upper fixing | fixed part and the lower fixing | fixed part located under the said dash cross member.
Thus, the dash cross member was provided so that it might overlap with the edge part of a reinforcement member. Moreover, the upper fixing part was attached to the dash cross member, and the lower fixing part was arranged below the dash cross member. Here, the reinforcing member and the dash cross member have higher strength than the dash lower panel.
Therefore, when the power unit moves rearward of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the upper fixing portion can be moved rearward of the vehicle body together with the reinforcing member and the dash cross member.
Thereby, a pedal part can be moved toward the vehicle body front. Therefore, the pedal portion can be further separated from the passenger's foot.
(3) In the aspect of (1), the reinforcing member is formed in a cross-sectional hat shape with a bottom portion, an inner wall, an outer wall, an inner flange and an outer flange, and the inner flange and the outer flange are attached to the dash lower panel. Also good.
Thus, a closed cross section can be formed with a reinforcement member and a dash lower panel by forming a reinforcement member in cross-sectional hat shape and attaching to a dash lower panel. Therefore, the strength rigidity of the reinforcing member can be increased.
Further, the inner flange of the reinforcing member can be extended from the vertical wall to the floor tunnel across the vertical corner. Furthermore, the inner flange can be extended from the vertical wall to the inclined wall across the horizontal corner. Thereby, a vertical wall and a floor tunnel can be connected firmly, and a vertical wall and a horizontal corner part can be connected firmly.
(4) In the aspect of the above (2), further comprising a lower dash cross member provided on the dash lower panel below the dash cross member, the one end portion of the reinforcing member being overlapped with the dash cross member, Of the member, the other end portion below the one end portion may be overlapped with the lower dash cross member.
As described above, the end portion of the reinforcing member is overlapped with the dash cross member, and the lower end portion of the reinforcing member is overlapped with the lower dash cross member. Therefore, when the power unit moves rearward of the vehicle and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the end of the reinforcing member can be moved rearward of the reinforcing member around the lower end of the reinforcing member.
Thereby, a pedal part can be favorably moved toward the vehicle body front.
(5) In the aspect of the above (1), a closing member provided at a steering shaft opening of the dash lower panel may be further provided, and the reinforcing member may be formed to be curved along the closing member.
Thus, the reinforcing member was formed in a curved shape along the closing member. Therefore, the arrangement | positioning location of the edge part of a reinforcement member can be selected comparatively freely. A mounting bracket of the pedal assembly is overlapped with the end portion of the reinforcing member. Thereby, the attachment position of an attachment bracket can be selected comparatively freely. Therefore, the pedal assembly can be attached at an optimal position.
(6) In the above aspect (1), the dash lower panel may have a bead facing the reinforcing member.
Therefore, the dash lower panel can be reinforced along the reinforcing member with the bead. Thereby, when the power unit moves rearward of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the end portion of the reinforcing member can be favorably moved rearward of the vehicle body. Therefore, the pedal portion can be moved more favorably toward the front of the vehicle body.
(7) In the aspect of the above (5), the reinforcing member may be fixed to the dash lower panel together with the closing member, with the opposite side of the corner portion overlapped with the closing member.
Therefore, the opposite side of the corner can be firmly fixed to the dash lower panel. Thereby, when the power unit moves rearward of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the reinforcing member can be favorably deformed so as to fall back to the rear of the vehicle body around the corner portion.
(8) In the above aspect (2), the dash cross member may extend downward and have an extension provided on the dash lower panel, and the lower fixing part may be attached to the extension.
Thus, the extension part was extended downward from the dash cross member, and the extension part was provided in the dash lower panel. Further, a lower fixing part was attached to the extension part. The dash cross member is stronger than the dash lower panel.
Therefore, when the power unit moves rearward of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel, the upper fixing portion can be moved rearward of the vehicle body relative to the lower fixing portion together with the reinforcing member and the dash cross member. Thereby, a pedal part can be favorably moved toward the vehicle body front.
(9) In the aspect of the above (4), a stopper that receives the pedal portion of the pedal assembly may be further provided, and the stopper may be attached to the dash lower panel across the lower dash cross member.
Thus, the stopper was attached to the dash lower panel across the lower dash cross member. Therefore, the stopper can be separated from the lower dash cross member. Thereby, when the power unit is pressed against the dash lower panel and the lower dash cross member moves toward the rear of the vehicle body, it is possible to prevent the stopper from moving backward so as to approach the passenger's foot (that is, the pedal portion). .
Therefore, the pedal portion can be favorably moved toward the front of the vehicle body.
According to the aspect which concerns on this invention, the corner part of the reinforcement member was provided in the vertical angle part and the horizontal angle part. Moreover, it attached so that the edge part of a reinforcement member might overlap with the attachment bracket of a pedal assembly. Therefore, when the power unit in the engine room is pressed against the dash lower panel, the end of the reinforcing member can be moved toward the rear of the vehicle body with the corner portion as the center. Thereby, a pedal part can be separated from a passenger | crew's leg | foot and it can avoid that a passenger | crew's leg | foot interferes with a pedal part.
Furthermore, it can avoid that a passenger | crew's leg interferes with a pedal part by the simple structure which overlaps the edge part of a reinforcement member on a mounting bracket, and provides a corner part in a reinforcement member.

As shown in FIG. 4, a steering shaft opening 68 is formed in the dash lower panel 12. A closing flange 71 of the closing member 22 is coupled to the steering shaft opening 68. The closing flange 71 is formed in an annular shape along the steering shaft opening 68.
Therefore, the steering shaft opening 68 is closed by the closing member 22. The closing member 22 is located outside the pedal assembly 16 (see FIG. 1) in the vehicle width direction. The steering shaft is passed through the through hole 72 of the blocking member 22.
The reinforcing member 18 is attached to the dash lower panel 12 from the engine room 25 side. Specifically, the reinforcing member 18 is formed in a cross-sectional hat shape by a bottom 74, an inner wall 75, an outer wall 76, an inner flange 77, and an outer flange 78 (see also FIG. 5).
As shown in FIG. 5, the bottom 74 is disposed at a distance from the vertical wall 27 to the front of the vehicle body. The inner wall 75 projects from the inner end 74 a in the vehicle width direction of the bottom portion 74 toward the vertical wall 27.
The outer wall 76 protrudes from the outer end 74 b in the vehicle width direction of the bottom portion 74 toward the vertical wall 27. The inner flange 77 projects from the rear end 75a of the inner wall 75 along the dash lower panel 12 toward the inside in the vehicle width direction. The outer flange 78 protrudes from the rear end 76a of the outer wall 76 along the dash lower panel 12 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction.
An inner flange 77 and an outer flange 78 are attached to the dash lower panel 12. Therefore, the reinforcing member 18 and the dash lower panel 12 form a closed cross section. Thereby, the strength rigidity of the reinforcing member 18 is enhanced.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the reinforcing member 18 has a vertical corner portion 34, a horizontal corner portion 35, a lower reinforcing portion 81 coupled to the closing flange 71 of the closing member 22, and extends upward from the lower reinforcing portion 81. An upper reinforcing portion 82 is provided.
The vertical corner 34 is formed in a projecting shape at the intersection of the front left side 13 b of the floor tunnel 13 and the vertical wall 27 and extends in the vertical direction. The horizontal corner 35 is formed at the intersection of the lower end 27a of the vertical wall 27 and the front end 28a of the inclined wall 28 and extends in the vehicle width direction.
The upper reinforcing portion 82 extends upward from the lower reinforcing portion 81 along the closing member 22. That is, the upper reinforcing portion 82 is formed to be curved along the closing member 22. Therefore, the arrangement location of the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18 can be selected relatively freely in the vehicle width direction.
As shown in FIG. 7, the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the upper dash cross member 14. Further, the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the mounting bracket 56 of the pedal assembly 16 via the upper dash cross member 14.
Therefore, the mounting position P1 of the mounting bracket 56 can be selected relatively freely in the vehicle width direction, similarly to the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18.
By selecting the mounting position P1 of the mounting bracket 56 relatively freely in the vehicle width direction, the pedal portion 58 of the pedal assembly 16 is mounted at an optimal position. That is, the pedal portion 58 is provided with the mounting position P1 (see also FIG. 1) at a distance L1 from the inner end portion 93a of the stopper 21 (specifically, the stopper portion 93).
Therefore, the pedal portion 58 is disposed at an optimum position with respect to the stopper portion 93 of the stopper 21. That is, the pedal portion 58 is disposed at a position optimal for the operation of the occupant.
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the lower reinforcing portion 81 includes a corner portion 84, an opposite-side coupling portion 85, and a reinforcing lower portion 86. The corner portion 84 includes a first corner portion 84 a provided along the vertical corner portion 34 and a second corner portion 84 b provided along the horizontal corner portion 35.
Therefore, the corner portion 84 is formed in a state bent in an L shape at the first corner portion 84a and the second corner portion 84b.
Here, in order to form the first corner portion 84 a, the inner flange 77 of the reinforcing member 18 protrudes greatly inward in the vehicle width direction in the lower reinforcing portion 81. Therefore, the inner flange 77 of the lower reinforcing portion 81 extends from the vertical wall 27 to the front left side portion 13b of the floor tunnel 13 across the vertical corner portion 34, and is bent into a V-shaped cross section at the first corner portion 84a. Yes. The first corner portion 84 a extends in the vertical direction along the vertical corner portion 34.
In this state, the inner flange 77 is coupled to the vertical wall 27 and the front left side 13b of the floor tunnel 13 by spot welding. Therefore, the vertical wall 27 and the floor tunnel 13 are firmly connected by the inner flange 77 of the lower reinforcing portion 81.
In addition, the reinforcing lower portion 86 extends from the vertical wall 27 to the inclined wall 28 across the horizontal corner portion 35, and is bent into a V-shaped cross section at the second corner portion 84b. The second corner portion 84 b extends in the vehicle width direction along the lateral corner portion 35.
In this state, the reinforcing lower portion 86 is joined to the vertical wall 27 and the inclined wall 28 by spot welding. Therefore, the vertical wall 27 and the inclined wall 28 are firmly connected by the reinforcing lower portion 86 of the lower reinforcing portion 81.
In this way, the vertical wall 27 and the floor tunnel 13 are firmly connected by the inner flange 77, and the vertical wall 27 and the inclined wall 28 are firmly connected by the reinforcing lower portion 86.
Accordingly, the corner portion 84 of the lower reinforcing portion 81 is firmly connected to the vertical corner portion 34 and the horizontal corner portion 35.
As shown in FIG. 7, the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the mounting bracket 56 of the pedal assembly 16 via the upper dash cross member 14.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 8, the power unit (for example, transmission) 91 in the engine room 25 moves toward the rear of the vehicle body and is pressed against the dash lower panel 12. Therefore, the impact load F1 is input to the reinforcing member 18 from the engine room 25 side.
In this state, the reinforcing member 18 can be deformed so as to be tilted as indicated by an arrow A toward the rear of the vehicle body around the corner portion 84 (specifically, the second corner portion 84b). Thereby, the upper end part 18a of the reinforcing member 18 can be moved toward the rear of the vehicle body.
Here, the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the mounting bracket 56 of the pedal assembly 16 via the upper dash cross member 14. Therefore, it is possible to move the mounting bracket 56 together with the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18 as shown by the arrow A toward the rear of the vehicle body. Accordingly, the pedal portion 58 of the pedal assembly 16 can be moved as indicated by an arrow B toward the front of the vehicle body. Therefore, the pedal portion 58 can be separated from the occupant's foot, and the occupant's foot can be prevented from interfering with the pedal portion 58.
In this way, it is possible to avoid the occupant's feet from interfering with the pedal portion 58 with a simple configuration in which the corner portion 84 is provided in the reinforcing member 18 and the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the mounting bracket 56.
5 and 6, the opposite-side coupling portion 85 is located on the opposite side of the corner portion 84 (specifically, the first corner portion 84a). The opposite side coupling portion 85 is superimposed on the inner side 71a of the closing flange 71 from the engine room 25 side. In this state, the opposite coupling portion 85 is coupled to the dash lower panel 12 (particularly, the vertical wall 27) together with the inner portion 71 a of the closing flange 71.
Therefore, the opposite side coupling portion 85 (that is, the opposite side of the first corner portion 84a) is firmly fixed to the dash lower panel 12.
As a result, as shown in FIG. 8, when the impact load F1 is input from the power unit 91 to the reinforcing member 18, the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18 is further improved as indicated by the arrow A around the second corner portion 84b. Can be defeated. Therefore, the pedal portion 58 can be separated from the occupant's foot, and the occupant's foot can be more effectively avoided from interfering with the pedal portion 58.
Further, the extension 47 extends downward from the attachment site 14 a of the upper dash cross member 14, and the lower end 47 a of the extension 47 is attached to the dash lower panel 12. Further, the upper fixing portion 56 a is attached to the attachment portion 14 a of the upper dash cross member 14, and the lower fixing portion 56 b is attached to the extension portion 47. Here, the reinforcing member 18 and the upper dash cross member 14 have higher strength than the dash lower panel 12.
When the impact load F1 is input from the power unit 91 to the reinforcing member 18, the upper fixing portion 56a is moved together with the reinforcing member 18 and the upper dash cross member 14 to the rear of the vehicle body as indicated by an arrow C with respect to the lower fixing portion 56b. Thereby, the pedal part 58 can be moved more favorably toward the front of the vehicle body, and it can be better avoided that the occupant's feet interfere with the pedal part 58.
Returning to FIG. 3, the lower end part 18b of the lower reinforcement part 81 is located below the upper end part 18a. The lower end portion 18 b of the lower reinforcing portion 81 is overlapped with the upper flange 53 of the lower dash cross member 15 via the dash lower panel 12.
Here, the lower end portion 18b of the lower reinforcing portion 81 is disposed in the vicinity of the second corner portion 84b. Further, the upper end portion 18 a of the reinforcing member 18 is overlapped with the upper dash cross member 14.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, when an impact load F1 is input from the power unit 91 to the reinforcing member 18, the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18 is further centered on the lower end portion 18b of the lower reinforcing portion 81 as indicated by an arrow A. Can be defeated well. Therefore, the pedal portion 58 can be separated from the occupant's foot, and the occupant's foot can be more effectively avoided from interfering with the pedal portion 58.
Returning to FIG. 5, the reinforcing member 18 is disposed so as to face the bead 29 of the dash lower panel 12. Therefore, the dash lower panel 12 is reinforced along the reinforcing member 18 with the beads 29.
As a result, as shown in FIG. 8, when the impact load F1 is input from the power unit 91 to the reinforcing member 18, the upper end portion 18a of the reinforcing member 18 can be moved better as indicated by the arrow A toward the rear of the vehicle body. Therefore, the pedal portion 58 can be separated from the occupant's foot, and the occupant's foot can be more effectively avoided from interfering with the pedal portion 58.
Returning again to FIG. 3, the stopper 21 is provided across the lower dash cross member 15. The stopper 21 includes a stopper portion 93, an upper leg portion 94, a lower leg portion 95, an upper joint portion 96, and a lower joint portion 97.
The stopper portion 93 is disposed behind the lower body 52 of the lower dash cross member 15 at a distance from the rear of the vehicle body. The upper leg portion 94 extends from the upper end of the stopper portion 93 to the inclined wall 28 toward the front of the vehicle body. The upper leg portion 94 is disposed above the upper portion 51 and the upper flange 53 of the lower dash cross member 15.
The lower leg portion 95 extends from the lower end of the stopper portion 93 to the inclined wall 28 toward the front of the vehicle body. The lower leg portion 95 is disposed below the lower flange 54 of the lower dash cross member 15.
The upper joint portion 96 extends upward from the front end of the upper leg portion 94 along the inclined wall 28. The lower joint portion 97 extends downward from the front end of the lower leg portion 95 along the inclined wall 28. An upper joint portion 96 and a lower joint portion 97 are coupled to the inclined wall 28. Accordingly, the stopper 21 is attached to the inclined wall 28 so as to straddle the lower dash cross member 15 in the vertical direction.
When the pedal portion 58 of the pedal assembly 16 is depressed by a predetermined distance in the direction of the arrow toward the front of the vehicle body, the pedal portion 58 is received by the stopper portion 93.
As shown in FIG. 8, when an impact load F <b> 2 is input from the power unit 91 to the lower dash cross member 15, the lower dash cross member 15 moves toward the rear of the vehicle body.
Here, the stopper 21 is disposed so as to straddle the lower dash cross member 15 so as to be separated from the lower dash cross member 15.
Therefore, it can suppress that the stopper 21 reverse | retreats so that it may approach a passenger | crew's leg | foot (namely, pedal part 58). As a result, a sufficient amount of movement of the pedal portion 58 of the pedal assembly 16 to the front of the vehicle body can be secured.
That is, when the pedal portion 58 is moved forward as indicated by the arrow B with the impact load F1 input from the power unit 91, the amount of movement of the pedal portion 58 in the arrow B direction can be sufficiently secured. Therefore, the pedal portion 58 can be separated from the occupant's foot, and the occupant's foot can be prevented from interfering with the pedal portion 58.
