本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法。
背景技术
随着显示技术的日益发展,各种新型技术不断涌现,透明显示技术因其透明的显示面板这一特性及其独特的应用,越来越受到人们的关注。
透明显示器一般是指可形成透明显示状态以使观看者可看到显示器中显示的影像及显示器背后的景象的显示器。透明显示器具有许多可能的应用,例如建筑物或汽车的窗户和购物商场的展示窗。除了这些大型设备的应用以外,诸如手持式平板电脑的小型设备也可得益于透明显示器,例如,使用户能够观看地图并且能够透过屏幕观看前面的景物。
预期大部分的现有的显示器市场将逐渐地被透明显示器所取代,例如在建筑、广告和公共信息领域。透明显示器分为抬头显示器、透明液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)与透明有机电致发光显示器,在这些透明显示中,抬头显示是采用影像投影的方法实现,而透明液晶显示器与透明有机电致发光显示器属于真正意义上的透明显示。
现有技术中,透明液晶显示器的显示像素通常包括红绿蓝子像素与透明子像素,其中,红绿蓝子像素组成显示区提供显示画面供观看者观看,而透明子像素则为透明状态使得观看者可看到透位于透明区后方景物,对于透明子像素对应的液晶转动需要进行独立控制,因为,如果不进行独立控制,则会导致当像素电极的信号发生变化后,透明子像素对应的液晶随之变化,从而输入信号灰阶越高的像素,透过率越强,而黑画面的地方,透过率也最低。这不符合透明显示器的显示要求。对于一个透明显示器来说,在不重要的画面处提高透过率,在重要的画面位置降低透过率凸显显示内容,是其应该达成的显示效果。因此,需要提供一种方法使得透明子像素的透过率能够根据显示画面进行实时变化。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,能够根据颜色饱和度实时调整透明液晶显示器透明区域的透过率,提升透明液晶 显示器的显示效果。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,包括如下步骤:
步骤1、提供一透明液晶显示器,包括:阵列排布的多个显示像素,每一个显示像素均包括:一红色子像素、一绿色子像素、一蓝色子像素、及一透明子像素;
步骤2、提供各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值;
步骤3、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值计算得出透明子像素的灰阶值,计算公式为:
T=(f(R,G,B)-a))2/a+b;
其中,T为一个显示像素中透明子像素的灰阶值,R为该显示像素中红色子像素的灰阶值、G为该显示像素中绿色子像素的灰阶值、B为该显示像素中蓝色子像素的灰阶值,a和b均为大于0常数,f为取R、G、及B中的一个值的函数、或者取R、G、及B经过进行普通四则运算和平方开方运算后的结果的函数;

本发明的有益效果:本发明提供了一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,该方法根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值计算各个透明子像素的灰阶值,能够根据显示画面的变化实时调整透明子像素的透过率,有效提升透明液晶显示器的显示品质。

具体实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明 的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图1,本发明提供一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,包括如下步骤:
步骤1、提供一透明液晶显示器,包括:阵列排布的多个显示像素,每一个显示像素均包括:一红色子像素1、一绿色子像素2、一蓝色子像素3、及一透明子像素4。
具体地,所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3、及透明子像素4均分别通过一独立的薄膜晶体管进行控制,通过该薄膜晶体管控制各个子像素的像素电极电压,进而控制各个子像素对应的液晶偏转。如图2所示,对应一个显示像素设有四个薄膜晶体管和四个电容,分别定义为第一、第二、第三、及第四薄膜晶体管T1、T2、T3、T4,第一、第二、第三、及第四电容C1、C2、C3、C4,其中,所述第一薄膜晶体管T1的栅极接入扫描信号Scan,源极接入红色子像素驱动信号R’,漏极经由第一电容C1电性连接红色子像素1,所述第二薄膜晶体管T2的栅极接入扫描信号Scan,源极接入绿色子像素驱动信号G’,漏极经由第二电容C2电性连接绿色子像素2,所述第三薄膜晶体管的栅极接入扫描信号Scan,源极接入蓝色子像素驱动信号B’,漏极经由第三电容C3电性连接蓝色子像素3,所述第一薄膜晶体管T4的栅极接入扫描信号Scan,源极接入透明子像素驱动信号T’,漏极经由第四电容C4电性连接透明子像素1。
进一步地,所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3、及透明子像素4尺寸大小及排列方式可以根据需要进行相应的设计,例如可以设计所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3、及透明子像素4的尺寸大小均相等,并沿同一方向依次排列,也可也设计所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3的尺寸相等,而透明子像素4的尺寸不等于所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3,如透明子像素4的尺寸等于所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3的尺寸之和,并且透明子像素4设于所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3的上方,而所述红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3沿水平方向依次排列。
步骤2、提供各个显示像素中红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3的灰阶值。
根据各个显示像素中红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、及蓝色子像素3的灰阶值计算透明子像素4的灰阶值,计算公式为:
T=(f(R,G,B)-a))2/a+b;
其中,T为一个显示像素中透明子像素4的灰阶值,R为该显示像素中红色子像素1的灰阶值,G为该显示像素中绿色子像素2的灰阶值,B为该显示像素中蓝色子像素3的灰阶值;
进一步地,a和b均为大于0的常数,并且所述a和b的和小于或等于255,同时(255-a)2/a+b≤255,优选地,所述a等于128,b等于127。
具体地,f为取R、G、及B中的一个值的函数,例如,所述f可以为取R、G、及B中最大值的函数、取R、G、及B中最小值的函数、或取R、G、及B中中间值的函数等。
具体地,以f为取R、G、及B的最大值的函数,a等于128,b等于127为例,此时T=((max(R,G,B)-128))2/128+127,根据二次函数的曲线,可以知道,T关于max(R,G,B)的变化曲线为一个开口向上的抛物线,也即对于该透明液晶显示器来说,其中一个显示像素的颜色饱和度较高或较低时,该显示像素的透明子像素4的透过率均提高,而其中一个显示像素的颜色饱和度处于中间区域时,该显示像素的透明子像素4的透过率降低。
此外,所述f还可以为取R、G、及B经过进行普通四则运算和平方开方运算后的结果的函数,例如,所述f为取R、G、及B的平均值的函数。
具体地,以f为取R、G、及B的平均值的函数,a等于128,b等于127为例,此时T=((average(R,G,B)-128))2/128+127,根据二次函数的曲线,可以知道,T关于average(R,G,B)的变化曲线为一个开口向上的抛物线,也即对于该透明液晶显示器来说,其中一个显示像素的颜色饱和度较高或较低时,该显示像素的透明子像素4的透过率均提高,而其中一个显示像素的颜色饱和度处于中间区域时,该显示像素的透明子像素4的透过率降低。
步骤4、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3及透明子像素4的灰阶值驱动各个显示像素中红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3及透明子像素4进行显示。
具体地,根据各个各个显示像素中红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3及透明子像素4的灰阶值产生红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3及透明子像素4的驱动信号R’、G’、B’、T’,再通过驱动信号驱动红色子像素1、绿色子像素2、蓝色子像素3及透明子像素4进行显示。
综上所述,本发明提供了一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,该方法根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值计算各个透明子像素的灰阶值,能够根据显示画面的变化实时调整透明子像素的透过率,有效提升透明液晶显示器的显示品质。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。

Claims (18)

  1. 一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,包括如下步骤:
    步骤1、提供一透明液晶显示器,包括:阵列排布的多个显示像素,每一个显示像素均包括:一红色子像素、一绿色子像素、一蓝色子像素、及一透明子像素;
    步骤2、提供各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值;
    步骤3、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值计算得出透明子像素的灰阶值,计算公式为:
    T=(f(R,G,B)-a))2/a+b;
    其中,T为一个显示像素中透明子像素的灰阶值,R为该显示像素中红色子像素的灰阶值,G为该显示像素中绿色子像素的灰阶值,B为该显示像素中蓝色子像素的灰阶值,a和b均为大于0的常数,f为取R、G、及B中的一个值的函数、或者取R、G、及B经过进行普通四则运算和平方开方运算后的结果的函数;
    所述a和b的和小于或等于255,并且(255-a)2/a+b≤255;
    步骤4、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素及透明子像素的灰阶值驱动各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素及透明子像素进行显示。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述a等于128,b等于127。
  3. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素、以及透明子像素的尺寸均相等。
  4. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的尺寸相等,所述透明子像素的尺寸不等于所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的尺寸。
  5. 如权利要求4所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述透明子像素的尺寸等于所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的尺寸之和。
  6. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,每一个子像素均通过一独立的薄膜晶体管来驱动其进行显示。
  7. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述 f为取R、G、及B中最大值的函数。
  8. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B中最小值的函数。
  9. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B中中间值的函数。
  10. 如权利要求1所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B的平均值的函数。
  11. 一种透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,包括如下步骤:
    步骤1、提供一透明液晶显示器,包括:阵列排布的多个显示像素,每一个显示像素均包括:一红色子像素、一绿色子像素、一蓝色子像素、及一透明子像素;
    步骤2、提供各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值;
    步骤3、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的灰阶值计算得出透明子像素的灰阶值,计算公式为:
    T=(f(R,G,B)-a))2/a+b;
    其中,T为一个显示像素中透明子像素的灰阶值,R为该显示像素中红色子像素的灰阶值,G为该显示像素中绿色子像素的灰阶值,B为该显示像素中蓝色子像素的灰阶值,a和b均为大于0的常数,f为取R、G、及B中的一个值的函数、或者取R、G、及B经过进行普通四则运算和平方开方运算后的结果的函数;
    所述a和b的和小于或等于255,并且(255-a)2/a+b≤255;
    步骤4、根据各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素及透明子像素的灰阶值驱动各个显示像素中红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素及透明子像素进行显示;
    其中,所述a等于128,b等于127;
    其中,每一个子像素均通过一独立的薄膜晶体管来驱动其进行显示。
  12. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、蓝色子像素、以及透明子像素的尺寸均相等。
  13. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的尺寸相等,所述透明子像素的尺寸不等于所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的尺寸。
  14. 如权利要求13所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述透明子像素的尺寸等于所述红色子像素、绿色子像素、及蓝色子像素的 尺寸之和。
  15. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B中最大值的函数。
  16. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B中最小值的函数。
  17. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B中中间值的函数。
  18. 如权利要求11所述的透明液晶显示器的数据处理方法,其中,所述f为取R、G、及B的平均值的函数。
