Abstract

본 발명은 배터리 모듈 및 이를 포함하는 배터리 팩 그리고 자동차에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 배터리 모듈은 하나 또는 복수개의 단위 모듈 및 내부에 복수개의 단위 모듈이 놓이는 수용 공간을 가지는 모듈 케이스를 포함하되 상기 단위 모듈은 중공이 형성된 튜브 형태의 단위 케이스 캔형 이차 전지 형태로 구성되고, 상기 단위 케이스의 중공에 위치하며, 길 이 방향을 따라 일 방향으로 나란하게 배치되고, 상호 전기적으로 연결된 복수개의 배터리 셀 및 상기 단위 모듈의 일측면에 위치하는 양극 리드 및 타측면에 위치하는 음극 리드를 가지는 전극 리드를 포함하는 배터리 모듈를 포함한다.
