As seen in figure 2, piston 46 includes rod 47 that pushes or pulls inner telescopic tubular arm 45. Height-positioning piston 48 is hydraulically powered to control the inclination angle of telescopic tubular arm 44 with respect to vertical structural member 42, thereby adjusting the desired height for cross-arm assembly 60.
  • cross-arm assembly 60 includes a clasp sleeve member 62 that is rotably mounted to the distal end of telescopic tubular arm 44.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil utilisé pour réparer un endommagement dans des panneaux de corps métallique d'un conteneur de transport. L'appareil comprend une plateforme ayant des roues qui peuvent éventuellement être verrouillées. L'appareil comprend en outre un bras pivotant qui peut être sélectivement levé, abaissé, étendu ou rétracté pour réparer quasiment n'importe quelle zone d'un conteneur de transport. A l'extrémité du bras pivotant se trouve un élément de bras transversal constitué d'un bras de réparation à piston qui peut être pourvu d'une pluralité d'accessoires en fonction des contours de la surface en train d'être réparée. La zone à réparer peut comprendre des parois de périmètre, des plafonds, des cadres de porte et/ou des montants de coin. Le bras pivotant et le bras de réparation à piston sont entraînés à l'aide d'un système pneumohydraulique qui est plus léger que tout autre système actuellement utilisé sur des dispositifs de réparation pour le transport. La réduction importante du poids permet à l'appareil d'entrer facilement dans des conteneurs de transport et d'être facilement manipulé par un seul opérateur.
