また、電子部品の配線距離が大きくなり、ESR(等価直列抵抗)およびESL(等価直列インダクタンス)が増大する。 Conventionally, as an electronic component, a connection terminal electrically connected to an element is pulled out from the case opening surface, connected to an external terminal of an external device, and the element and the external device are electrically connected. Are known. However, when the connection terminal connected to the element is drawn out from the opening surface, an additional wiring member for drawing out is required, and the manufacturing cost of the electronic component increases. In addition, the wiring distance of the electronic component increases, and ESR (equivalent series resistance) and ESL (equivalent series inductance) increase.
On the other hand, an electronic component 100 described in Patent Document 1 shown in FIG. 4 and an electronic component 200 described in Patent Document 2 shown in FIG. 5 have been proposed.
In the electronic component 100 described in Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 4, an element 101 is accommodated in a case 104, and connection terminals 102 and 103 for external connection are drawn out. The side wall of the case 104 is provided with a notch 105, the connection terminals 102 and 103 are drawn out from the notch 105, and the notch 105 is sealed with a sealing plate 106.
With such a configuration, in the electronic component 100 of Patent Document 1, the connection terminals 102 and 103 are pulled out from the side surface of the case 104, and the element 101 and the external device are connected without increasing the wiring distance between the connection terminals 102 and 103. The device is electrically connected.
However, the electronic component 100 of Patent Document 1 has a complicated structure of the notch 105 and the sealing plate 106, and the manufacturing cost is high. In addition, since the electronic component 100 cannot be pulled out from the bottom surface of the case 104, the wiring distance between the connection terminals 102 and 103 cannot be sufficiently shortened.
The electronic component 200 described in Patent Document 2 includes an element 201, a substrate 202, a case 203, a metal plate 204, and a resin 206, as shown in FIG. The case 203 has a hollow cylindrical metal fitting 205. The element 201 is connected to the wiring of the substrate 202, and a part of the wiring of the substrate 202 is connected to the metal plate 204 via the metal fitting 205. The element 201 is sealed with a resin 206 in a housing portion of the case 203. With this configuration, in the electronic component 200 described in Patent Document 2, the element 201 and the external device are electrically connected through a shorter wiring path than the electronic component 100 described in Patent Document 1.
In an electronic component as described in Patent Document 1 or Patent Document 2, the case is filled with a resin such as an epoxy resin so as to fill the element in order to improve moisture resistance.
Here, the resin filled in the case is in a solidified state when the electronic component 200 is completed, but the resin 206 is a fluid liquid when the resin 206 is filled.
In the electronic component 200 described in Patent Document 2, when the case 203 is filled with the resin 206, the liquid is transferred from the gap between the screw portion of the fastening member such as the hollow cylindrical metal fitting 205 and the bolt to the hollow portion of the metal fitting 205. Of the resin 206 may penetrate. Furthermore, the liquid resin 206 may leak from the inside of the case 203 to the outside of the case 203 through the hollow portion of the metal fitting 205.

The element 2 has a conductive terminal 6 and a conductive terminal 7. The element 2 is accommodated in the inside 21 of the case 8 and sealed with a resin 9. The case 8 is made of an insulating member, and the element 2 is accommodated in the inside 21 thereof. The fastening member 12 is made of a conductive material and is embedded in the case 8 by insert molding. The terminal 6 and the terminal 7 of the element 2 are connected to the fastening member 12 using the first connecting member 18.
The resin 9 is made of an insulating material, and seals the element 2 and the first end 23 to which the first connecting member 18 is fastened in the inside 21 of the case 8. The resin 9 is, for example, an insulating member that has changed from a liquid state to a solid state by thermosetting, and is made of, for example, a cured thermosetting epoxy resin. The element 2 is accommodated in the inside 21 of the case 8, and the terminal 6 and the terminal 7 are sealed with the resin 9 in a state where the terminal 6 and the terminal 7 are connected to the fastening member 12 using the first connection member 18, respectively. The element 2 is sealed with the resin 9 by, for example, injecting an uncured liquid resin into the inside 21 of the case 8 and curing it by heating to become a solid resin 9.
The element 2 has two film capacitors 3, electrode plates 4 and 5, terminals 6 and 7, and an insulating plate 13 as shown in FIG. 2A. The terminal 6 is constituted by a part of the electrode plate 4 and has a circular through hole 6 a for inserting the first connection member 18.
As shown in FIG. 2A, the electrode plate 5 includes a connection portion 5 a connected to the end surface electrode 3 b and a portion constituting the terminal 7. The connection portion 5a is configured by bending a part of the electrode plate 5 toward the end face electrode 3b, and is connected to the end face electrode 3b of the film capacitor 3 by means of, for example, solder welding. The terminal 7 is constituted by a part of the electrode plate 5 and has a circular through hole 7 a for inserting the first connecting member 18. The terminal 7 has a bent portion 7b bent downward. By having the bent portion 7b, the through hole 7a and the through hole 6a can be arranged at substantially the same height with the bottom surface of the element 2 as a reference.

The first connecting member 18 is inserted into the through hole 6 a of the terminal 6 or the through hole 7 a of the terminal 7 and is screwed into the first non-through hole 16 of the fastening member 12.
2C, the case 8 has a box shape, has an opening on the upper surface, and a bottom on the lower surface. The inside 21 of the case 8 is a housing portion that houses the element 2. The case 8 is made of an insulating resin material such as polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). The inside 21 of the case 8 is filled with, for example, a solid resin 9 in a state where a thermosetting epoxy resin is cured, and the element 2 is embedded in the resin 9.
As shown in FIG. 2B, the fastening member 12 is embedded in the case 8 by insert molding and is substantially integrated with the case 8. The fastening base 10 is a part of the case 8 and is a part where the fastening member 12 is embedded in the case 8. The fastening base 10 is provided near the side surface of the case 8, and is provided from the side surface of the interior 21 of the case 8 to the bottom surface 11.
The fastening member 12 has a first end 23 exposed in the interior 21 of the case 8 and a second end 24 exposed from the bottom surface 11 of the case 8. The fastening member 12 has a first non-through hole 16 at the first end 23 and a second non-through hole 17 at the second end 24. In the present specification, the non-through hole means a hole that does not pass through, for example, a bottomed hole.
The fastening member 12 is composed of a conductive nut having two cylindrical upper portions 14 and a lower portion 15 as shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B. The fastening member 12 has a first end 23 at the upper end and a second end 24 at the lower end. As shown in FIG. 2B, the first end portion 23 is exposed from the upper end of the fastening base 10, and the second end portion 24 is exposed from the lower end of the fastening base 10, that is, the bottom surface 11 of the case 8.
As shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, the fastening member 12 has a first non-through hole 16 at the first end 23, and the first non-through hole 16 has a thread 25 on the inner surface. . The first non-through hole 16 is a space into which a bolt as the first connecting member 18 is inserted and screwed.
The fastening member 12 has a second non-through hole 17 at the second end 24, and the second non-through hole 17 has a thread 26 on the inner surface. The second non-through hole 17 is a space into which a bolt as the second connecting member 19 is inserted and screwed.
In the fastening member 12, the outer diameter D1 of the upper portion 14 is smaller than the outer diameter D2 of the lower portion 15. The outer surface of the lower portion 15 has a mesh-shaped knurled portion 27 having a large number of convex portions by knurling. The knurled portion 27 has a large number of fine rectangular convex portions and a mesh-shaped concave portion. The fastening member 12 is made of, for example, brass.
The fastening member 12 has a partition portion 20 integral with the fastening member 12 between the first non-through hole 16 and the second non-through hole 17. The partition portion 20 blocks between the first non-through hole 16 and the second non-through hole 17. That is, the internal space of the first non-through hole 16 and the internal space of the second non-through hole 17 are not in communication.
A configuration in which the first connecting member 18 and the second connecting member 19 are fastened to the fastening member 12 is shown in FIG.
The first connecting member 18 is, for example, a bolt made of a conductive metal, and has a thread at a position where the first connecting member 18 is inserted into the first non-through hole 16 of the fastening member 12.
The first connecting member 18 is inserted into the through hole 6 a of the terminal 6, and is inserted into and screwed into the first non-through hole 16 of the fastening member 12. Thereby, the terminal 6 is connected to the first end 23 of the fastening member 12.
Similarly, the first connecting member 18 is inserted into the through hole 7 a of the terminal 7, and is inserted into and screwed into the first non-through hole 16 of the fastening member 12. Thereby, the terminal 7 is connected to the first end 23 of the fastening member 12.
The first connecting member 18 may be a rivet that does not have a thread. In this case, the first connecting member 18 connects the terminal 6 or the terminal 7 to the fastening member 12 by being press-fitted into the first non-through hole 16 of the fastening member 12.
The second connecting member 19 is, for example, a bolt made of a conductive metal, and has a thread at a position where the second connecting member 19 is inserted into the second non-through hole 17 of the fastening member 12.
The second connection member 19 is inserted into a through hole (not shown) of the external terminal 28, inserted into the second non-through hole 17 of the fastening member 12, screwed, and fastened.
As a result, the external terminal 28 is connected to the second end 24 of the fastening member 12.
The second connecting member 19 may be a rivet that does not have a thread. In this case, the second connecting member 19 is press-fitted into the second non-through hole 17 of the fastening member 12, thereby connecting the external terminal 28 to the fastening member 12.
As described above, the electronic component 1 of the present disclosure has the following configurations and effects.
In other words, the electronic component 1 according to the present disclosure includes an element 2 having conductive terminals 6 and 7, an insulating case 8 in which the element 2 is housed, and a case 8 embedded in the terminal 2. The conductive fastening member 12 is provided. The fastening member 12 has a first end portion 23 exposed to the inside 21 of the case 8 and a second end portion 24 exposed to the outside 22 of the case 8. The terminals 6 and 7 are connected to the first end 23. The fastening member 12 includes a partition portion 20 that partitions the space inside the case 8 from the outside 22 of the case 8.
With this configuration, the electronic component 1 can connect the external terminal 28 to the bottom surface 11 of the case 8 and has a great degree of freedom in designing the connection of the external terminal 28.
In the electronic component 1, the first non-through hole 16 and the second non-through hole 17 are separated by the partition portion 20, and the internal space of the first non-through hole 16 and the second non-through hole are separated. There is no communication with 17 internal spaces.
Further, while the resin 9 is filled in the inside 21 of the case 8, leakage of the resin 9 from the bottom surface 11 of the case 8 can be suppressed while being connected to the external terminal 28 from the bottom surface 11 of the case 8. Thereby, the electronic component 1 has high reliability.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the fastening member 12 may have the outer diameter D 1 of the first end portion 23 smaller than the outer diameter D 2 of the second end portion 24. With this configuration, the fastening member 12 can be prevented from falling off the case 8.
When the fastening member 12 made of a conductive member is embedded in the case 8 made of an insulating member, the thermal expansion coefficient of the case 8 and the thermal expansion coefficient of the fastening member 12 are different. It may become easy to drop out of 8. In addition, when the first connecting member 18 or the second connecting member is fastened to the fastening member 12, an external force may be applied to the fastening member 12 embedded in the case 8.
However, since the first connecting member 18 is fastened at the first end 23 and the terminals 6 and 7 of the element 2 are connected to the fastening member 12, the fastening member 12 is directed from the case 8 toward the outside 22. It is difficult to drop out.
Therefore, by making the outer diameter D1 of the first end portion 23 smaller than the outer diameter D2 of the second end portion 24 and suppressing the fastening member 12 from dropping toward the inside 21 of the case 8, The fastening member 12 can be prevented from being detached from the case 8.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the fastening member 12 may have a knurled portion 27 on the outer surface. With this configuration, the mesh-shaped convex portion of the knurled portion 27 bites into the case 8, and the case 8 can fix the fastening member 12 more firmly. When the first connecting member 18 or the second connecting member 19 is fastened to the fastening member 12, the fastening member 12 is detached from the case 8 and rotated together with the fastening member 12 even if a force is applied. Can be suppressed.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the knurled portion 27 may be provided at a position closer to the second end portion 24 than the first end portion 23. With this configuration, since the outer diameter of the fastening member where the knurled portion 27 is provided is large, the effect that the case 8 holds the fastening member 12 is high, and the fastening member 12 can be more firmly fixed.
However, in the range of about 2 mm from the second end 24 which is the lower end of the fastening member 12, the knurled portion 27 is not provided, and the mesh-like unevenness is not provided. With this configuration, when the second connecting member 19 is fastened to the fastening member 12, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of burrs and the like and suppress the occurrence of damage to the external terminals 28.
Further, in the electronic component 1, the fastening member 12 has a first non-through hole 16 at the first end 23, and the electronic component 1 is a first connection inserted into the first non-through hole 16. The terminal 18 may be connected to the first end 23 using the first connecting member 18.
With this configuration, the electronic component 1 can firmly connect the terminals 6 and 7 of the element 2 to the first fastening member 12 with good workability by using a bolt as the first connecting member 18. A rivet may be used as the first connecting member 18. When a rivet is used as the first connecting member 18, the terminals 6 and 7 can be connected to the fastening member 12 by press-fitting the rivet into the first non-through hole 16.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the first non-through hole 16 may have a screw thread 25 on the inner surface, and the first connection member 18 may be screwed into the first non-through hole 16. With this configuration, in the electronic component 1, the operation of fastening the first connection member 18 to the first non-through hole 16 is facilitated.
Further, in the electronic component 1, the fastening member 12 has a second non-through hole 17 at the second end 24, and the second non-through hole 17 has a screw thread 26 on the inner surface thereof. 1 may include a second connection member 19 screwed into the second non-through hole 17. With this configuration, the electronic component 1 can firmly fasten the second connecting member 19 to the fastening member 12 with good workability.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the element 2 may include a film capacitor 3. For example, the film capacitor 3 may be configured using a metallized film on which another metal such as zinc or magnesium is deposited. Alternatively, the film capacitor 3 may be formed using a metallized film obtained by depositing a plurality of metals among these metals. Or the film capacitor 3 may be comprised using the metallized film which vapor-deposited the alloy of these metals.
Furthermore, in the electronic component 1, the film capacitor 3 may be configured by stacking a metallized film in which aluminum is vapor-deposited on both sides of a dielectric film and an insulating film, and winding or laminating them.
