Description

NOZZLE SYSTEM
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a nozzle system to be used for drying purposes in ram machines, wherein the performance and efficiency of the drying process are increased by using said system.
PRIOR ART
The products that contains moisture as a result of any process in textile need drying processes. The most important example of drying machines is the ram machines. The rams are the drying machines, in which the fabrics are transversely attached to its edges by means of needles or lapels, the fabric is moved by means of double-moving chains, during the hot air is sent to the fabric. The fabric can be passed without touching anywhere except the holders at the edge of the fabric.
With the pressured hot air sprayed at the lower and upper surfaces of the fabric by means of the nozzles, the moist is in the fabric evaporated and the air that contains water vapor is removed from the fabric by means of a controlled exhaust fan system, and therefore the fabric leaves the machine in a dried form. At the output of the ram machine, there are cooling mechanism and wrapping equipment in order to decrease the temperature of the fabric after the drying process. In the ram machines, there are divisions in a length of 1 .5-3 meter, the number of which can be determined depending on the product type. Each division is heated constantly and equally at the desired temperature. The temperature is kept under control by means of an automation unit. Inside the divisions, the fabric is kept moving by being held only from the edges without touching anywhere, and pressured hot air is sprayed from the nozzles onto the fabric surface. The fiber flies and dusts separatedfrom the fabric under the influence of pressured air during the drying process are removed from the environment with a special absorbent apparatus.
The ram machines are widely used in the fixing process after the finishing process, thermofixing of the synthetic fabrics, in the drying and fixing of the fabrics after dyeing and the drying following the other finishing processes. In the existing nozzle system, air impact angle and impact velocity of the air leads to low heat and mass transfer coefficient. This causes reductuion for the efficiency of heat and mass transfer.
Since air velocity from the nozzle is not enough, air is dispersed before reaching to fabric. Thus, the effective impact area is narrow. As a result, heat and mass transfer are low.
As a result, all the above mentioned problems have made it necessary to make an innovation in the relevant field. TARGET OF THE INVENTION
The present invention makes it necessary to eliminate the above-mentioned problems and to make technical innovation in the relevant field. The main targetof the invention is to increase the performance of the drying process and the drying efficiency of the nozzle system which is used in ram machines.
Another target of the invention is to increase the speed of the air coming out of the nozzle and provide a contact with the fabric at the desired speed.
Another target of the invention is to direct the angle of impact as close to 90 degrees as possible to increase the heat and mass transfer coefficient. Another target of the invention is to reduce the number of exit holes on the nozzle to raise the air velocity to the desired level.
Another target of the invention is to place the holes equally to be able to get air contacts with every point of the fabric.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the nozzle material is shaped to direct air leaving the nozzle. In the new system, impact angle of the air leaving the nozzle is steeper and the air is less dispersed before reaching the fabric. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holes are placed to be able to provide contact each point of the fabric with air.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the number of air holes in the existing nozzles is reduced and the air velocity is increased to the desired level. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed disclosure, the nozzle system subject to the invention is described by examples that will not have any limiting effect only for the better understanding of the subject.
The invention relates to a nozzle system to be used for drying purposes in ram machines, wherein the performance and efficiency of the drying process are increased by using said system.
Figure 1 shows the front view of the cabin (2). In ram machines, the above-mentioned drying processes are carried out by means of the nozzles (3) located in the cabins (2) inside the ram machines. Hot air is blown through the cabin (2) through the mentioned nozzles (3) and the moist fabric positioned inside the cabin (2) is dried and/or fixed.
An isometric view of the nozzle block (9) is given in Figure 2. On the inside surfaces there are holes named as blower (8).
During the drying process in the Ram machines, the fan (5) which activates hot air flowing from the snail (1 )is used to blow the air onto the fabric. Hot air, activated by the fan (5) is conveyed through the snail (1 ) to the nozzles and is sprayed onto the fabric in a pressurized manner. Nozzle system comprises, fans (5) for activating hot air, at least onefan housing (4) and at least one fan (5) positioned in the fan housings (4), nozzle channels (7), a blower (8) located on the nozzle (3), at least one nozzle block (9) in each cabin(2), snail (1 ) to which the nozzle block (9) is connected, providing continuous hot air delivery.
Due to the process planned inside the cabin (2), the process of blowing onto the fabric is carried out both from the bottom and upper part of the desired fabric. In our current ram machine, there are four fans (5) for each cabin (2) within the snail (1 ) system used for drying. Two of these fans direct hot air to the bottom of the fabric, and two of them direct hot air to the upper part of the fabric. There are four fan housings (4) positioned opposite a burner (6) and four fans (5) positioned inside those fan housings (4).
Thanks to the air transferred from the nozzle (3), the fabric is dried between the nozzles (3) and while the fabric is moving the air is transferred from the snail (1 ) to the fabric by the blower (8) which is located on the nozzle(3) surface. The blower (8) is lined along the surfaces of upper nozzle channels (7) and the lower nozzle channels (7) which are facing the fabric. The snail (1 ) system comprises at least one nozzle blocks (9) which are located in each cabin (2). The nozzle block (9) located in each cabin (2) is located in the opposite direction of the nozzle block (9) in the previous cabin (2). While the snail (1 ) to which the nozzle block (9) located in the first cabin (2) that is connected is fixed on one wall of the cabin (2), the snail (1 ) of the nozzle block (9) that is located in the next cabin (2) is fixed on the opposite wall of the cabin (2)
In Figure 5 the sectional view of a nozzle (3) has been given. During the drying process, the temperature of the air hitting to the fabric decreases while the humidity increases. This air must be quickly removed from the environment to avoid mixing with fresh air from the nozzle (3). In the presently used nozzle (3) system, there is no place or direction where the air hitting into the fabric can escape. For this reason, used air mixes with fresh air and reduces drying efficiency.
In order to remove the used air which is formed due to impact, the section where the exit holes are located is inclined. In alternative preferred embodiments of the invention, it is possible to realize the blowers (8) in different geometric structures, with the nozzle (3) being inclined at different angles. In an embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 6, a blower (8) is given a special form which allows the air exiting the nozzle (3) to reach the fabric more steeply.
