본 발명은 특정 가스에 색전이가 발생하는 미세한 크기의 염료입자를
1차원 고분자 나노섬유에 결착시킨 색변화 가스센서용 부재, 가스센서 및 그 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 전기방사용 용액의 제조과정에 있어서 염료를 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 액화시킨 후 급랭시켜 상온 건조과정에서 발생하는 결정립의 성장을 제어하고, 용매에 녹아있는 고분자에 의해 염료입자들이 뭉침 없이 미세하게 분산된 황화수소 가스 검출용 염료입자를 제조할 수 있다. 미세 아세트산 납 입자들이 분산된 전기방사용액을 전기방사하여 미세한 크기의 염료입자들이 1차원 고분자섬유의 내부와 외부에 결착되어 장단축비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상을 이루어, 높은 다공성 특성과 높은 표면적을 가진 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
【배경기술】
산업 기술 전반에 걸쳐 다양한 종류의 유해가스들이 사용되고 있으며, 작업 현장에서 발생하는 유해가스의 누출을 빠르게 모니터링하여 큰 사고나 인명피해를 조기에 예방하기 위해 고감도, 고속반응 가스센서에 대한 필요성과 수요가 크게 증대되고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 산업화로 인한 공기오염이 심각해 지면서 대기오염도 측정 및 실내 공기질 측정과 같이 실생활과 가까운 곳에서도 가스센서가 이용되는 사례를 쉽게 접할 수 있다.
최근 들어서는 사람들의 호흡과정에서 배출되는 날숨 속 생체지표 가스를 감지하여 특정 질병을 손쉽게 진단할 수 있는 헬스케어용 날숨센서 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 사람의 호흡을 통하여 황화수소, 펜탄, 틀루엔, 아세론, 일산화질소, 암모니아 등과 같은 다양한 생체지표 가스들이 인체 내의 세포와의 반웅에 의해 생성되며 호흡을 통해 방출되게 된다. 이러한 가스들은 각각 구취, 심장병, 폐암, 당뇨병, 천식, 신장질환에 대한 생체지표들로 보고되고 있다. 호기 속에는 수백 여종 이상의 다양한 가스들이 흔합되어 있기 때문에 특정 생체지표가스를 선택적으로 감지할 수 있어야 한다. 또한, 날숨 속의 생체지표가스는 10 ppb(part per billion) 에서 10 ppm(part per million) 범위의 매우 낮은 농도로 방출되기 때문에 이를 감지하기 위해서는 10 ppb 급의 농도를 정확하게 검출할 수 있는 높은 감도특성을 가진 가스센서의 개발이 선행되어야 한다.
가스센서는 크게 가스감지 작동방식에 따라 가스 크로마토그래피 /질량분석기, 저항변화식 가스센서와 색변화 가스센서로 분류될 수 있다. 가스 크로마토그래피는 시료가 주입구에 주입되면서 기화가 일어나게 되며, 기화된 물질은 가스 크로마토그래피 내의 컬럼들에 의해 분리된다. 분리된 가스상의 화합물 성분은 질량 분석기를 통하여 검출된 양에 비례하는 전기적 신호를 모니터에 보여주게 된다. 가스 크로마토그래피 /질량분석기는 매우 정확한 가스 정량분석이 가능하지만 가격이 비싸고 장비의 크기가 커서 휴대기기로서는 바람직하지 않다. 또한, 금속산화물 반도체 기반의 저항변화식 가스센서는 금속산화물 반도체의 표면에 특정 가스가 흡착 및 탈착되는 과정에서 발생하는 전기저항 변화를 인식하여 특정 가스를 감지한다. 저항변화식 가스센서는 가스 크로마토그래피 /질량분석기와 견주어 봤을 때, 센서 시스템 구성이 비교적 쉽고 크기가 작아 휴대가 간편하다는 장점이 있지만 감도와 선택성 면에서 많이 뒤쳐져있다. 한편, 특정 가스에 노출되면 육안으로 색변화를 확인할 수 있는 색변화 가스센서 (colorimetric sensor)에 대한 연구 개발 또한 활발히 진행되고 있다. 색변화 가스센서는 염료로 쓰이는 물질이 특정 가스와 반응하면 물질의 밴드구조 (band structure)에 영향을 주고, 그에 따라 가시광선에 대한 흡수파장이 달라지면서 색변화가 일어나게 된다. 또는 분석 가스와 염료가 반웅하여 생기는 유색의 생성물을 통해 분석 가스를 감지할 수도 있다. 색변화 가스센서는 추가적인 회로설계와 측정설비가 필요하지 않고, 테스트지 형태로 간편하게 휴대할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 하지만 가스 감도특성과 선택성은 가스 크로마토그래피 /질량분석기와 저항변화식 가스센서에 비해 크게 뒤쳐져 있는 상황으로 많은 개선이 필요하다.
높은 감도특성을 갖는 색변화 센서 개발을 위해 최근에 다양한 나노구조체를 갖는 소재들이 개발되고 있다. 나노입자, 나노섬유, 나노튜브, 나노중공구조를 포함하는 나노구조체 기반 감지소재는 후막 필름 (thick film)과 같은 기존의 소재와 견주었을 때 가스들과 반웅하는 면적이 월등히 넓기 때문에 우수한 가스 감지 특성을 기대할 수 있다. 특히, 색변화 가스센서는 염료물질과 관심대상가스 (analyte)와의 표면반응으로 색변화가 발생되므로 나노구조체를 적용함으로써 가스 분자들과 염료불질이 만날 수 있는 반웅사이트 (reaction site)가 현저히 커지게 되어, 가스 감도 특성을 향상시킬 수가 있다. 아세트산 납 (Lead(II) acetate, Pb(CH3COO)2)은 무수화물 (anhydrous)과 삼수화물 (trihydrate)의 두 종류의 상태로 자연계에 존재하게 되며, 각각의 녹는점은 280 ᄋ C와 75 °C 이다. 두 종류의 아세트산 납 모두 황화수소 가스를 선택적으로 감지할 수 있는 염료로 이미 산업현장에서는 황화수소 가스의 누출을 모니터링하기 위한 필름형태의 상품이 쓰이고 있다. 아세트산 납은 황화수소 (H2S)와 반응하면 황화납 (PbS)이 생성되며, 갈색의 색깔을 띄게 되는 원리로 색변화 센서로 사용되고 있다. 하지만 검출 한계 (detection limit)가 5 ppm 정도로 1 ppm 이하의 극미량의 황화수소 가스를 감지해내지는 못하고 있는 실정이다. 구취 환자의 생체지표인 황화수소는 정상인의 날숨에 50 ppb ~ 80 ppb의 농도범위를 보이지만, 구취환자의 날숨 안에서는 1 ppm 〜 2 ppm의 황화수소가 포함되어있다. 하지만 시중의 황화수소 지시용 테스트지는 감도한계 때문에 저농도의 황화수소를 검출하여 구취 진단을 하기에는 큰 어려움이 있다.
따라서, 분석 종의 가스와 접촉할 수 있는 반응 영역을 최대한으로 제공할 수 있도록 넓은 표면적을 가진 색변화 센서 소재의 개발이 필요하다. 후막필름 형태의 색변화 센서의 경우, 기공의 부재로 인해 가스 분자들이 감지소재 내부로 확산하지 못하고 반응이 표면으로 제한되게 된다. 때문에, 가스 감도향상을 위해서 다공성 구조를 가진 색변화 센서 소재의 개발을 통해 표면반응뿐만 아니라 내부에서도 가스 분자들과 염료가 반응할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 특히 아세트산 납의 경우 용매에 녹은 후에 건조 과정에서 재결정립 성장이 수 im ~ 수십 μπ 사이즈 크기로 잘 일어나는 분말이기 때문에, 높은 비표면적 특성을 얻기 위해서는 미세한 결정립 분포를 갖는 공정기술의 확보가 중요하다.

본 발명의 목적은 특정 가스에 색전이를 일으키는 염료가 동일가스와 만날 수 있는 반응 참여 면적을 최대한으로 제공해주는 나노 구조체를 손쉽게 합성하여 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서를 제작하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 목적은, 전기방사용액의 제조과정에서 염료를 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 액화시킨 후 급랭시켜 상온 건조과정에서 발생하는 결정립의 성장을 제어하고, 전기방사용액의 용매에 녹아있는 고분자에 의해 염료입자들이 뭉치지 않도록 하여 미세한 크기의 염료입자를 제조하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은, 미세 염료입자를 1차원의 고분자 나노섬유에 균일하게 결착시키는 것으로, 소량의 염료물질과 고분자를 흔합하여 전기방사용액을 제조한 후, 전기방사기술을 이용하여 멤브레인 형태의 황화수소가스 지시용 색변화 센서를 제조하는 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 또 다른 목적은, 전기방사법을 이용하여 고분자 /염료 복합체 나노섬유를 합성하고 미세 아세트산 납 염료입자들을 나노섬유의 내부와 외부에 균일하게 결착시키는 방법을 제공한다. 이를 통해 고분자 /염료 복합체 나노섬유의 큰 표면적과 높은 기공도를 이용하여 극미량의 관심대상가스 (analyte)를 검출해 낼 수 있는 미세 아세트산 납 입자들이 결착된 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
[기술적 해결방법] 상기 과제를 해결하기 위해 본 발명에서는 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)의 낮은 녹는점에 착안하여 염료를 고분자가 녹아 있는 용액에서 고온교반 후 급속 냉각 처리 과정을 거쳐 제조된 미세한 크기의 염료입자 분산 용액을 제공할 수 있다. 이때, 미세한 크기의 염료가 고르게 결착된 1차원 나노섬유 형상의 염료 /고분자 복합체를 합성하기 위해서 전기방사기술을 이용하여 나노섬유의 내부와 외부에 염료분말이 균일하게 결착되도록 하고, 전기방사 과정에서 길이 방향으로 연신되어 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 모양의 입자를 나노섬유에 형성하여 넓은 표면적과 뛰어난 다공성 구조를 가지는 미세 아세트산 납 입자들이 결착된 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서용 부재 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명의 감지소재 및 이를 이용한 색변화 가스센서용 부재 제조 방법은
(a) 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)과 고분자를 용매에 흔합하고 고온에서 교반하여 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 액화시켜 전기방사용액을 제조하는 단계; (b) 상기 전기방사용액을 수득 후 급랭하여 액화된 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 미세결정으로 응고시키는 단계; (C) 상기 급랭을 거친 전기방사용액을 전기방사법을 이용하여 고분자와 염료가 서로 결착하여 나노섬유 복합체를 형성하고 염료물질인 아세트산 납 삼수화물이 나노섬유의 내부와 표면에 균일하게 잔류하는 나노섬유를 형성하는 단계; (d) 상기 전기방사법으로 형성된 복합 나노섬유를 부직포위에 직접 방사하여 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 형성하는 단계; (e) 상기 수득된 염료가 결착된 고분자 나노섬유를 건조하여 안정화를 시켜주는 단계를 포함하는 미세 아세트산 납 입자들이 결착된 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법을 포함한다.
상기 (a) 단계에서, 상기 염료물질은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 사용함이 바람직하다. 무수화 아세트산 납 (Lead(II) acetate anhydrous)의 경우 녹는점이 280 °C 가까이 되기 때문에, 전기방사용액 제조 과정에 있어서 무수화 아세트산 납의 녹는점까지 온도를 을려주게 되면 방사용액 안에 섞여있는 다른 고분자들이 녹거나 분해될 가능성이 크다. 하지만, 아세트산 납 삼수화물은 무수화 아세트산 납 (Lead(n) acetate anhydrous)에 비해 녹는점이 대체로 낮은 75 °C로 대부분의 고분자의 유리전이점 (glass transition point)보다도 낮아 액화점 근처의 온도에서 교반을 하여도 흔합된 고분자들이 안정한 상태를 유지할 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 (a) 과정은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)과 고분자를 흔합시켜 고분자에 영향을 주지 않는 염료의 녹는점 이상의 고온에서의 교반을 통해 전기방사용액을 제조하는 단계일 수 있다.
상기 고분자는 폴리메틸메타아크릴레이트 (PMMA, Polymethyl methacrylate), 폴리아크릴 공중합체, 폴리비닐아세테이트 공중합체, 폴리비닐알콜 (PVA, Polymethyl alcohol), 폴리메틸아크릴레이트 (PMA, Polymethyl acrylate), 폴리비닐아세테이트 (PVAc, Polyvinyl acetate), 폴리퍼퓨릴알콜 (PPFA), 폴리스티렌 (PS, polystyrene), 폴리비닐피를리돈 (PVP, Polyvinylpyrrolidone), 폴리스티렌 공중합체, 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 (PEO), 폴리우레탄 (Polyurethane), 폴리우레탄 공중합체, 샐롤로오스 아세테이트 (Cellulose acetate), 폴리프로필렌옥사이드 (PPO), 폴리아크릴로나이트릴 (PAN, Polyacrylonitrile), 폴리카보네이트 (PC), 폴리비닐클로라이드 (PVC), 폴리카프로락톤, 폴리비닐풀루오라이드, 폴리아닐린 (PANI, Polyaniline), 스타이렌 아크릴로나이트릴 (SAN, Styrene-acrylonitrile) 폴리비닐알콜 (PVA, Polyvinyl alcohol), 폴리카보네이트 (PC, polycarbonate), 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드 (PVDF, Poly(vinylidene fluoride)) 폴리비닐리덴풀루오라이드 공중합체, 폴리이미드 (Polyimide), 폴리에틸렌 (PE, Polyethylene), 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 (PET, Polyethylene terephthalate), 폴리프로필렌 (PP, Polypropylene), 샐를로오스 (Cellulose), 아세테이트 부틸레이트 (Acetate butyrate) 및 셀를로오스 유도체 등이 있다. 전기방사용액을 제조할 경우, 염료분말의 중량비율은 나노섬유 복합체를 이루는 고분자 대비 0.5 wt% 내지 90 wt%의 농도 범위에서 다양하게 조절될 수 있다.
전기방사용액에 있어서 용매는 디메틸포름아마이드 (DMF, Dimethylfon-namide), 에탄올 (Ethanol), 아세톤 (Acetone), 디메틸아세트아마이드 (DMAc: Dimethylacetamide), 테트라하이드로퓨란 (Tetrahydrof ran), 를루엔 (Toluene), 디메틸 술폭시드 (DMSO, dimethyl sulfoxide) 및 에틸렌 글리콜 (EG, Ethylene glycol) 중 어느 한 종류의 용매 또는 두 종류 이상의 흔합 용매를 이용할 수 있고, 이러한 용매를 상기 나노섬유 복합체를 이루는 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate) 대비 50 wt % 내지 99 wt %의 농도범위에서 이용하여 전기방사용액을 제조할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 (b) 단계는, 상기 (a) 단계에서 녹는점 이상의 고은 교반을 진행한 전기방사용액을 급랭하여 미세한 염료입자들을 형성하는 단계알 수 있다. 시중에서 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 구매할 경우, 평균 분말크기가 200 μΐϊΐ가 될 정도로 매우 크다. 하지만 상기 염료분말의 크기는 1 μηι 이하가 되어야 전기방사를 통해 나노섬유에 결착이 가능해진다. 통상적으로 전기방사를 통해 수득되는 고분자 나노섬유의 직경은 lOO nm 1 μπι 범위를 갖기 때문에, 상기 염료분말의 크기는 동일범위를 갖거나 그 이하의 크기 분포를 갖는 것이 염료 /고분자 복합체 나노섬유의 제조에 바람직하다. 따라서, 이러한 나노섬유의 직경과 유사한 크기의 염료분말을 얻기 위해, 상기 (a) 단계의 고온교반을 통해 얻어진 전기방사용액을 급랭시켜 상온 건조과정에서 발생하는 결정립의 성장을 제어하고, 용매에 녹아있는 고분자에 의해 염료입자들이 뭉치지 않고 미세한 크기의 염료입자를 합성할 수가 있다. 이 염료입자들을 전기방사 과정 중에 섬유의 외부와 내부에 결착시킬 수 있다. 상기 고온교반과 급램과정을 통해 얻어진 미세한 크기의 염료분말은 50 nm 내지 2 μπι의 크기 분포에 포함되는 평균 직경을 가질 수 있다. 급랭과정은 아세트산 납의 녹는점 이상에서 용융되어 있는 고분자 용액이 담긴 유리병을 냉각수에 담궈 줌으로써, 1 μπι 이하의 결정립 크기를 갖는 미세한 염료입자가 분산된 고분자 용액을 얻을 수 있다.
또한, 상기 (c) 단계는 상기 (b) 단계에서 얻어진 미세한 염료분말을 포함한 전기방사용액을 전기방사기를 이용하여 염료 /고분자 복합체 나노섬유로 합성하는 단계로, 급랭과정을 통해 형성된 미세한 염료분말이 높은 기공도와 넓은 표면적을 갖는 나노섬유의 내부와 외부에 잔존하는 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다. 또한, 전기방사 과정에서 고분자가 길이 방향으로 연신되고 동시에 미세 염료분말들이 상기 고분자에 잔존하면서 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 모양을 불연속적으로 형성시킬 수 있다. 염료의 결착 강도가 약한 경우, 색변화 센서 측정 전에 잔류하지 못하고 고분자 나노섬유로부터 탈리될 수도 있기 때문에, 염료분말은 고분자 나노섬유의 매트릭스 (matrix) 내부 및 외부에 강하게 결착되어야 한다. 전기방사 방법을 이용하는 경우, 고분자에 고르게 분산된 미세염료분말이 동시에 전기방사가 되어 염료 /고분자 복합체 섬유를 형성하므로, 결착 강도가 매우 높은 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다. 결정립 입자가 매우 큰 경우 나노섬유로부터 탈리될 수 있으며, 반응 면적이 적어지게 되어, 뚜렷한 색변화를 관찰하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 따라서 나노섬유에 강하게 결착되고, 탈리되지 않으며, 높은 색변화 효율을 갖기 위해 작은 결정립 크기를 갖는 아세트산 납을 고르게 결착시키는 기법은 매우 중요하다. 또한 상기 (d) 단계에서는 전기방사법으로 형성된 복합 나노섬유를 집전체를 통해 수집하여 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 제조하게 된다. 상기 (e) 단계에서는 상기 수득된 염료가 결착된 나노섬유를 건조함으로써, 일부 곡선형태를 보이는 나노섬유에 결착된 염료들을 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)이 선호하는 판상구조로의 외형개질을 통해 감지소재를 안정화하여 더욱 높은 반응성을 이끄는 것을 특징으로 한다. 상기 건조과정은 30 °C 내지는 80 ᄋ C의 온도범위에 포함되며, 건조시간에는 큰 제약을 두지 않지만, 안정화 과정을 마무리하기에 충분한 시간 동안 진행되는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 개별 직경은 50 nm 내지 10 μιη의 범위에 포함되며 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)이 결착된 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유는 황화수소 (¾S) 가스에 노출시 고분자 나노섬유에 잔류하는 염료들과 반응하여 PbS 상이 석출되면서 색상이 변하게 된다. 공기 중에 포함되어 있는 수증기의 양에 따라 건조한 분위기에서는 질은 갈색으로 변하는 반면, 고습환경에서는 갈색으로 색전이가 일어나게 된다. 고분자 나노섬유의 직경은 보다 바람직하게는 100 nm ~ 1000 nm의 범위를 가질 수 있다. 나노섬유 직경의 크기가 작을수록 비표면적이 증대되기 때문에 가스와 나노섬유 표면에 노출된 염료분말과의 반웅점 (reaction site) 또한 증가하게 된다. 그러므로, 나노섬유의 직경은 평균 300 nm 전후로 형성되는 것이 바람직하다.
집전체 위에 수득된 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인의 두께는 5 urn - 100 μιη의 범위에서 정해질 수 있다.
[발명의 효과]
본 발명에 따르면 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 전기방사용액 제조과정 중 고온교반을 통해 액화시켜 액체상태의 미세 염료입자들을 용액 내에 균일하게 분포시킨 후 급랭하여 수십 ~ 수백 iim il기, 바람직하게는 20 nm ~ 500 nm의 크기 범위를 갖는 아세트산 납 염료 분말을 얻고 상기 분산용액을 전기방사하여 미세한 크기의 염료를 1차원 고분자 나노섬유의 내부와 외부에 균일하게 잔류시킨 복합 나노섬유 감지소재를 합성하여 극미량의 황화수소에도 선택적으로 반응하는 미세 아세트산 납 입자들이 결착된 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서를쎄공할 수 있다.
전기방사 기술을 이용하여 제조한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유는 기존의 황화수소 감지용 테스트지의 염료물질보다 높은 표면적과 기공도를 가지기 때문에, 1 ppm 보다 낮은 농도의 황화수소에 노출되어도 수십 초 내로 육안으로 색변화를 확인하여 구취진단 및 유해 황화수소 가스를 고감도 /고속으로 모니터링할 수 있는 색변화 가스센서로 활용될 수 있다.

도 13 은 고온교반된 방사용액을 포함한 유리병을 각 각 20 °C, 25 °C 의 온도를 가지는 넁각수에 담가 냉각시키거나 공기 중에 자연냉각을 시킨 후, 방사하여 얻어진 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 5, 1, 0 ppm 으로 가스의 농도를 변화시키면서 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 1 분간 직접노출하여 얻어진 사진이다. 도 14 는 고온교반된 방사용액을 포함한 유리병을 각 각 20 °C, 25 °C 의 온도를 가지는 넁각수에 담가 냉각시키거나 공기 중에 상온 건조 시킨 후, 방사하여 얻어진 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 1 ppm 의 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 60초, 40초, 20초, 0초 간 직접노출하여 얻어진 사진이다.
【발명의 실시를 위한 최선의 형태】
본 발명의 실시예들은 전기방사용액 제조시 염료의 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 액화시킨 후 급탱과정을 통해 미세한 크기의 염료 입자를 고분자 용액 내에 균일하게 분산시키고, 전기방사를 이용하여 염료분말이 고분자 나노섬유의 내부와 표면에 탈리없아 결착되어 있는 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
일실시예로, 황화수소 가스에 노출되면 색변화가 일어나는 염료물질인 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate) 미세분말이 1 차원의 고분자 나노섬유 내부와 외부 (표면)에 균일하게 잔류되어 있는 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유 센서 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
보다 구체적인 실시예으로는 전기방사용액 제조과정에서 자연계에서 발견되는 아세트산 납 무수화물 (Lead(II) acetate anhydrous, Pb(CH3COO)2, 녹는점 280 °C)과 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate, Pb(CH3COO)2-3H20, 녹는점 75 °C) 중 녹는점이 높은 무수화 아세트산 납을 사용할 경우 흔합되어 있는 고분자를 녹이거나 분해시킬 수 있어, 녹는점이 상대적으로 낮은 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 염료분말로서 사용하여 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 액화시킬 수 있다. 그 후에 급랭과정을 통해 염료분말을 미세한 크기로 재석출시키고, 전기방사를 통해 얻어진 고분자 나노섬유에 수십 ~ 수백 nm 크기의 염료분말이 결착되며, 이 과정 중 불연속적으로 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상의 입자가 형성되어 이를 포함하는 나노섬유 색변화 센서 멤브레인을 제공할 수 있다. 1차원 다공성 직물 구조를 구성하는 개별 나노섬유의 내부 내지는 표면에 염료입자들이 강하게 결착되어 있기 때문에 감지가스가 염료분말을 함유하고 있는 3 차원 구조 안으로 확산할 수 있도록 하여 표면에만 국한된 반응사이트 (reaction site)가 멤브레인 내부에서도 제공되어 반응면적의 현저한 증가를 가져올 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예들은 전기방사를 이용하여 염료가 결착된 고분자 나노섬유 센서를 대량으로 제조할 수 있으며, 기존의 황화수소 감지용 테스트지에 사용되는 아세트산 납 염료물질보다 높은 표면적과 기공도를 확보하여 기존 색변화 센서로 검출이 불가능했던 1 ppm 보다 낮은 농도의 특정 가스에 짧은 시간 노출되어도 육안으로 인지가 가능한 색변화가 발생하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
이후 설명될 실시예 1 에서는 특정 가스로서 황화수소가스를 지시하기 위한 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조 과정에 대해 보다 상세히 기술한다. 또한 비교예 1 에서는 시중에서 구입한 염료분말을 이용하여 황화수소가스 색변화 센서용 부재로 사용하였으며, 비교예 2 에서는 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거치지 않은 전기방사용액으로 황화수소가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서를 제조하여, 실시예 1 과 극미량의 황화수소가스에 노출시 변하는 색변화 정도를 비교하였다. 이때, 실시예 1 에서는 비교예 1, 2 에 비해, 비표면적의 증가로 인한 반웅 사이트의 증가 및 기공도의 증가로 인해 월등히 향상된 색변화 특성을 확인할 수 있다.
도 1 은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 미세한 크기의 염료분말이 고분자 나노섬유의 내부와 표면에 결착된 황화수소가스 지시용 색변화 센서의 개념도이다. 도 1 에서 나타난 고분자 나노섬유 (101 )의 직경은 50 nm 내지 10 μιη 의 범위에 포함될 수 있다. 고분자 나노섬유 (101)의 직경은 토출 속도, 노즐의 반경, 방사용액의 점성이나 인가되는 전압의 크기 등에 의해서 조절될 수 있다. 나노섬유의 직경이 너무 커질 경우 많은 염료분말들이. 섬유의 표면이 아닌 내부에 형성되게 되어 감지하고자 하는 가스와 반응하지 못하게 되어 센서의 감지능력이 저하될 수도 있다. 반면 나노섬유의 두께가 너무 얇을 경우 염료분말의 크기가 상대적으로 커져 섬유에 결착되지 못하게 되면서 나노섬유의 사이사이에 분말이 분산되어 있는 형태가 될 수 있다. 따라서 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유꾀 지지체가 되는 고분자 나노섬유 (101)의 직경은 50 nm ~ 10 μιη 정도가 효과적이다. 더욱 바람직하게는 100 nm 〜 1000 nm 의 직경 범위를 갖는 고분자 나노섬유 (101)를 이용하는 것이 구조적으로 안정하면서도, 색변화 정도가 높은 센서 제조에 유리하다.
또한 고분자 나노섬유 (101)에 결착된 염료분말 (102)의 크기도 색변화 감도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소이다. 염료분말의 크기 (염료분말의 모양에 따라 직경, 길이 및 두께 중 어느 하나)는 10 nm 내지 2 μηι 의 범위에 포함될 수 있다ᅳ 염료분말의 크기는 작을수록 큰 표면적을 제공해주기 때문에 좋을 수도 있으나, 고분자 나노섬유의 직경에 비해 상대적으로 너무 작으면 전기방사과정에서 나노섬유 내부로 잔류하게 되어 감지가스와 반응하지 못하게 되고 결과적으로 반응점 (reaction site)으로써의 역할을 잃게 될 수 있다. 반면 염료분말의 크기가 너무 크면 표면적이 크게 감소하게 되고, 또한 전기방사과정 증 고분자 나노섬유에 결착하지 못하고 고유의 형상을 유지하면서 섬유의 사이사이에 분산된 형태로 존재하게 된다. 이러한 분말들이 고분자 나노섬유 안의 기공에 위치하게 되면 감지가스의 확산을 방해하게 되고, 보다 깊숙한 영역에 존재하는 나노섬유에 결착된 염료의 색변화 반응 참여를 억제하게 된다. 따라서 염료분말의 크기는 10 nm 내지 2 μηι 의 범위가 적절하다.
또한, 고분자 나노섬유 (101)에 결착된 염료분말 (102)이 장단축와 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상의 입자로 형성되는 경우, 양면볼록렌즈 형상의 염료분말 (120)은 단축의 직경이 10 내지 500 nm 의 크기범위에 포함되며, 장축의 길이가 100 nm 내지 5 μΐ 의 크기범위에 포함될 수 있다.
도 2 는 본 발명의 실시예 1 에 사용된 전기방사 장치의 모식도를 나타낸다. 전기방사 과정은 주사기 끝에 달린 노즐 (201 )에 고전압 인가 장치 (202)어 1 의하여 강한 전기장이 가해지게 되고 노즐에서 방사된 전기방사용액의 용매가 기화되면서 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유가 형성되면서 집전체 (203)에 모아지게 된다. 노즐을 통해서 토출되는 복합 섬유는 1 차원 형태의 나노성유이다. 전기 사용액을 제조할 때 사용되는 용매는 본 발명에서 사용된 염료인 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 용해시키지 않는 용매라면 특정 용매로 제약되지 않는다. 예를 들어, 디메틸포름아마이드 (DMF, Dimethylformamide), 에탄올 (Ethanol), 아세톤 (Acetone), 디메틸아세트아마이드 (DMA Dimethylacetamide), 테트라하이드로퓨란 (Tetrahydrof ran), 를루엔 (Toluene), 다메틸 술폭시드 (DMSO, dimethyl sulfoxide) 및 에틸렌 글리콜 (EG, Ethylene glycol) 중 어느 한 종류 또는 두 종류 이상의 흔합 용매가 사용될 수 있다.
염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유는 섬유형상을 유지하는 고분자 나노섬유 (204)와 고분자 나노섬유 (204)에 균일하게 결착되어 감지가스와 반응하여 색변화를 일으키는 염료 (205)로 구성된다. 고분자는 폴리메틸메타아크릴레이트 (PMMA, Polymethyl methacrylate), 폴리아크릴 공중합체, 폴리비닐아세테이트 공중합체, 폴리비닐알콜 (PVA, Polymethyl alcohol), 폴리메틸아크릴레이트 (PMA, Polymethyl acrylate), 폴리비닐아세테이트 (PVAc, Polyvinyl acetate), 폴리퍼퓨릴알콜 (PPFA), 폴리스티렌 (PS, polystyrene), 폴리비닐피를리돈 (PVP, Polyvinylpyrrolidone), 폴리스티렌 공중합체, 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드 (PEO), 폴리우레탄 (Polyurethane), 폴리우레탄 공중합체, 셀를로오스 아세테이트 (Cellulose acetate), 폴리프로필렌옥사이드 (PPO), 폴리아크릴로나이트릴 (PAN, Polyacrylonitrile), 폴리카보네이트 (PC), 폴리비닐클로라이드 (PVC), 폴리카프로락톤, 폴리비닐풀루오라이드, 폴리아닐린 (PANI, Polyaniline), 스타이렌 아크릴로나이트릴 (SAN, Styrene-acrylonitrile), 폴리비닐알콜 (PVA, Polyvinyl alcohol), 폴리카보네이트 (PC, polycarbonate), 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드 (PVDF, Poly(vinylidene fluoride)) 폴리비닐리덴풀루오라이드 공중합체, 폴리이미드 (Polyimide), 폴리에틸렌 (PE, Polyethylene), 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 (PET, Polyethylene terephthalate), 폴리프로필렌 (PP, Polypropylene), 셀를로오스 (Cellulose), 아세테이트 부틸레이트 (Acetate butyrate) 및 셀롤로오스 유도체 중에서 선택된 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 흔합물이 될 수 있다. 고분자와 용매의 함유량 비율에는 큰 제약을 두지 않으나, 전기방사를 수행하기에 적절한 점도를 가지기 위해서는 일반적으로 용매 대비 5 wt% 내자 30 wt% 범위에서 선택되는 것이 바람직하다ᅳ
노즐에 주입되는 전기방사용액에는 황화수소와 반응하여 갈색계열의 색으로 변하는 염료 (205)가 함유된다. 상기의 과정에 있어서 염료 (205)를 구성하는 물질은 녹는점이 상대적으로 낮은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 아세트산 납은 무수화 (anhydrous)와 삼수화 (trihydrate)된 두 종류의 상태로 자연계에서 발견되게 된다. 무수화 아세트산 납 (Lead(II) acetate anhydrous)의' 경우 녹는점이 280 °C로 보고되고 있으며, 이 물질의 액화점까지 온도를 올려주게 되면 용액 안에 다른 고분자들이.고유의 형상이나 성질을 유지 못하고 녹거나 분해될 가능성이 크다. 하지만, 아세트산 납 삼수화물의 녹는점은 75 °C 로 대부분의 고분자의 유리전이점 (glass transition point)보다도 낮기 때문에, 상기 물질의 액화점 근처의 온도에서 교반을 진행하여도 흔합된 고분자들이 온도에 큰 영향을 받지 않고 고유의 상태를 유지할 수 있다. 그러므로, 염료 (205)를 구성하는 물질로는 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)이 선택되는 것이 바람직하다. 염료 (205)의 용매와의 중량비율은 염료 /고분자 나노섬유 복합체를 이루는 아세트산 납 삼수화물 대비 50 wt % 내지 99 wt %의 농도범위에 포함될 수 있다. 노즐에 토출되는 방사용액의 속도는 으 1 μΐ/mm - 250 (iL/min 의 범위에서 방사용액의 점도에 따라 적절히 선택될 수 있다. 노즐에 인가되는 전압은 5 kV - 30 kV 사이에서 선택될 수 있으며, 노즐과 집전체 사이의 거리는 3 cm 내지 50 cm 범위에서 선택되는 것이 효율적이다.
도 3 은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 고온교반 및 급탱과정을 거쳐 형성된 미세한 염료입자들이 전기방사를 이용하여 나노섬유의 내부 및 표면에 균일하게 결착되어 존재하는 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 구조를 이용한 황화수소가스 지시용 색변화 센서 제조과정을 도식화한 것이다.
단계 (301)는 고온교반을 통해 액화된 염료를 포함하는 전기방사용액을 제조하는 과정일 수 있다. 이때, 미세한 크기의 염료분말을 얻기 위해, 염료와 고분자 및 용매를 염료의 녹는점 이상의 고은으로 교반하여 전기방사용액올 제조할 수 있다.
단계 (302)는 급랭과정을 거쳐 미세결정으로 응고된 염료를 함유하는 전기방사용액을 제조하는 과정일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 단계 (301)에서 수득된 전기방사용액을 급랭하여 염료를 미세결정으로 웅고시킬 수 있다ᅳ 단계 (303)는 전기방사 기기를 이용하여 1 차원의 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유를 형성하는 과정일 수 있다.
단계 (304)는 방사된 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유를 멤브레인의 형태로 집전체에 수집하는 과정일 수 있다.
단계 (305)는 수득된 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유 멤브레인을 건조하여 안정화하는 과정일 수 있다.
하기의 구체적인 실시예를 통하여 본 발명을 보다 더 상세히 설명한다. 이는 본 발명을 상세히 설명하기 위한 실시예일뿐, 본 발명이 이에 한정되지는 않는다,
실시예 1 : 아세트산 납 삼수화물의 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정올 진행시킨 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유
전기방사용액을 제조하기 위해 0.45 g 의 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)과 분자량이 150,000 g 인 플리아크릴로나이트릴 (PAN, Polyacrylonitrile) 0.25 g을 3 mL의 디메틸포름아마이드 (DMF, Dimethylformamide)에 흔합시킨다. 염료분말을 서브마이크론 (snb-ym)의 분말로 입도 크기를 줄여주기 위해 염료의 녹는점 이상의 온도인 85 °C 에서 24 시간 동안 교반시킨다. 이후 90 °C 에서 데워진 전가방사용액이 담긴 유리병을 찬물이 담긴 비이커 속에 빠르게 담구는 과정을 통해 급랭시켜 상온 건조과정에서 발생하는 아세트산 납 삼수화물 결정립의 성장을 제어하여 미세한 크기의 염료입자를 합성시킨다. 상기의 방사용액을 노즐에 연결시킨다. 전기방사를 진행하기 위해 노즐에 17 kV 의 전압을 가하고, 노즐과 집전체 사이와 거리는 15 cm 를 유지한다. 또한 노즐의 토출 속도는 0.3 rnL/min으로 유지한다. 수득된 고분자 /염료 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 50 ᄋ C 로 일정하게 유지되는 오본 (oven)에 3 시간 동안 건조를 시켜 안정화시킨다.
도 4 는 상기 전기방사 과정을 통해 합성된 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 주사전자현미경 사진으로, 전기방사 과정에서 고분자가 길이 방향으로 연신되어 약 500 nm의 직경을 가진 고분자 나노섬유가 형성되고 동시에 미세 염료분말들이 상가 고분자에 잔존하면서 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 모양이 불연속적으로 형성되어 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 비교예 1. 순수한 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate) 염료분말 비교예 1 에서는 실시예 1 과 달리 전기방사 과정을 진행하지 않고 시중에서 구매가 가능한 순수 염료분말을 .이용하였다.
도 5 는 전기방사 과정을 거치지 않은 순수 염료분말의 주사전자현미경 사진이다. 이를 통해, 고유 염료분말의 크기는 100 μηι 이상을 가짐을 확인할 수 있다.
비교예 2. 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거치지 않고 방사하여 합성한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 노즐에 주입시킬 방사용액을 제조하기 위해 시중에서 구입한 0.45 g 의 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)과 분자량이 150,000 g 인 폴리아크릴로나이트릴 (PAN, Polyacrylonitrile) 0.25 g 을 3 mL 의 디메틸포름아마이드 (DMF, Dimethylformamide)에 흔합시킨 후 상온에서 24 사간 동안 교반시킨다. 상기의 방사용액을 노즐에 연결시킨다.
전기방사를 진행하기 위해 노즐에 17 kV 의 전압을 가하고, 노즐과 집전체 사이의 거리는 15 cm 를 유지한다. 또한 노즐꾀 토출 속도는 0.3 mL/min 으로 유지한다.
도 6 은 상기 전기방사를 통해 수득된 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 주사전자현미경 사진을 보여준다. 수득된 고분자 나노섬유의 직경은 1 μπι 근처의 분포를 보인다. 하지만, 염료가 잔류하는 나노섬유를 확인할 수가 없고, 일부분에서는 큰 덩어리의 염료가 나노섬유 사이사이에 존재하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 이는 고온교반 및 급탱과정을 진행하지 않게 되면 오로지 교반과정의 분쇄로 인해 다량의 1 μηι 이상의 아세트산 납 삼수화물 입자들이 존재하여 가는 나노섬유의 표면 및 내부에 입자들이 결착되기 어렵기 때문에 발생된 것이다. 따라서 고온교반을 통해 염료를 액화시킨 후 급랭을 통해 결정 성장을 제어하여 적절한 크기의 염료분말 배합을 얻어야 염료가 결착된 나노섬유의 형상을 얻을 수가 있게 된다. 하기 실험예를 통하여 본 발명의 고온교반과 급램과정을 거친 전기방사용액을 방사하여 합성한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유가 상기 비교예와 비교하여 본 발명의 실시예들이 뛰어난 감지특성을 보이며 따라서 극미량을 황화수소가스에 노출되어도 색변화를 확인할 수 있음을 보인다. 또한, 실시예에 제시된 몇 가지 실험조건들을 다양화하여 각 각의 변수들이 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 색변화센서의 색전이 정도에 미치는 영향을 확인할 수 있다. 실험예 1. 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정을 진행한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유, 순수한 아세트산 납 삼수화물 ead ) acetate trihydrate) 염료분말 및 고온교반과 급탱과정을 거치지 않고 방사하여 합성한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유를 이용한 황화수소 가스 감지 색변화 특성 평가
황화수소 가스에 대한 색변화 특성을 확인하기 위해서 상기의 실시예 1, 비교예 1, 비교예 2를 통해 얻어진 부재들을 일상적인 대기 환경 (20 C, 상대습도 40%)에서 가스의 농도를 5, 1, 0 ppm 으로 변화시키면서 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 1 분간 가스 배출구와 연결된 튜브를 직접적으로 색변화 센서 표면에 근접 노출시켜 가스 농도 변화에 따른 색변화 특성을 평가하였다.
도 7 은 상기 실시예 l(7-a), 비교예 l(7-b)과 비교예 2(7-c)가 상온의 대기 환경에서 1 분간 황화수소 가스의 농도를 5, 1, 0 ppm으로 변화시키면서 황화수소 가스에 직접적으로 노출되었을 때 보이는 색변화 정도를 나타낸 것이다. 도 7 에 나타난 바와 같이, 고온교반 및 급랭과정을 거쳐 전기방사된 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유 (7-a)는 육안으로도 1 ppm에서 뚜렷한 색변화를 감지할 수 있는 것에 반해 순수한 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate) 염료분말 (7-b)은 l ppm 에서 색변화가 전혀 관찰되지 않음을 확인할 수 있다. 고온교반 및 급랭과정을 거치지 않은 염료분말 (7-c)로 얻어진 나노섬유의 경우도 1 ppm 에서 뚜렷한 색변화를 확인할 수가 없었다. 고온교반 및 급탱으로 얻어진 미세한 크기의 염료를 함유한 전기방사용액으로 합성한 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유 (7-a)는 황화수소 가스에 대하여 전기방사 과정을 진행하지 않은 염료분말 (7-b)과 고온교반 및 급랭 과정을 진행하지 않고 얻어진 염료 /고분자 복합 색변화 나노섬유 (7-c)보다 저농도의 황화수소 가스에 노출되었을 때 더욱 뚜렷한 색변화 정도를 나타낸다.
도 8은 실시예 1이 건조한 환경에서 1 ppm의 황화수소가스에 노출시간을 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 0초로 감소시켰을 때 나타나는 색변화 정도를 나타낸 .것이다. 도 8 에 나타난 바와 같이, 1 ppm 에서 뚜렷했던 갈색이 노출시간이 짧아 질수록 엷어짐을 확인할 수 있다. 육안으로는 황화수소 가스에 30 초까지 노출된 나노섬유 멤브레인의 색변화를 인지할 수 있다. 이는 수백 nm 크기의 직경을 갖는 나노섬유의 표면 및 내부에 수십 ~ 수백 nm 크기의 미세한 아세트산 납 삼수화물 입자들이 결착이 되어, 황화수소 가스와 넓은 반응 면적에서 가스반응이 일어나기 때문이며, 1 ppm 이하의 황화수소 가스농도에서도 뚜렷한 색변화 특성을 보여줌으로써, 유해 환경가스로서의 황화수소 검출 뿐만 아니라, 구취의 생체지표 가스인 호흡 과정에서 배출되는 황화수소 또한 본 실시예를 통해서 얻어진 색변화 센서로 검출할 수 있음을 알 수 있다. 실험예 2. 고온교반과 급탱과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정을 진행한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유와 고은교반과 급탱과정올 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정을 거치지 않은 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유를 이용한 황화수소 가스 감지 색변화 특성 평가
고온교반과 급랭과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후, 건조과정의 도입 유무에 대한 색변화 특성을 확인하기 위해서 상기의 실시예 1 과 실시예 1 의 건조단계를 건너뛰어 얻어진 각 각의 부재들을 일상적인 대기 환경 (20 °C, 상대습도 40%)에서 가스의 농도를 5 ppm으로 유지시키면서 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 1 분간 가스 배출구와 연결된 튜브를 직접적으로 색변화 센서 표면에 근접 노출시켜 가스 농도 변화에 따른 색변화 특성을 평가하였다.
도 9 는 상기 실시예 1 과 건조과정을 삭제한 실시예 1 이 상온의 대기 환경에서 1 분간 황화수소 가스의 농도를 5 ppm 으로 유지시키면서 직접적으로 노출되었을 때 보이는 색변화 정도를 나타낸 것이다.
도 9 에 나타난 바와 같이, 실시예 1 의 색변화 영역이 건조과정을 포함하지 않는 변형된 실시예 1 에 비해 눈에 띄게 넓은 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 기존에 대비하여 건조과정을 통해, 제작된 색변화센서의 감도를 개선시킬 수 있는 방법이 될 수 있다. 도 10은 DMF 용매에 습식 볼밀링 (ball-milling)을 통해 분쇄된 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate) 미세입자와 수득된 염료입자를 50 °C 에서 3 시간 건조 하여 얻은 염료 미세입자의 주사전자현미경 사진이다. 이와 같이 건조과정의 추가를 통해, 곡선과 유사한 형태를 보이는 염료입자들이 판상형태의 구조로 변형이 일어나게 되면서 더 많은 가장자리를 가지게 된다. 때문에 건조와 같은 안정화 과정은 개별염료입자의 반웅성을 향상시킬 수 있게 된다. 실험예 3. 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정을 진행한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 .고온교반 온도를 다양화하여 황화수소 가스 감지 색변화 특성 평가
염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 고온교반 온도를 다양하게 설정하여 교반온도에 대한 색변화 특성을 확인하기 위해서 상기의 실시예 1 의 교반온도 조건을 85 °C, 95 °C, 120 °C 으로 설정하여 얻어진 각 각의 부재들과 상온교반과정을 거친 부재를 일상적인 대기 환경 (20 °C, 상대습도 40%)에서 가스의 농도를 5 ppm 으로 유지시7ᅵ면서 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 1 분간 가스 배출구와 연결된 튜브를 직접적으로 색변화 센서 표면에 근접 노출시켜 가스 농도 변화에 따른 색변화 특성을 평가하였다.
도 1 1 은 각각 85 °C, 95 °C, 120 °C의 교반온도를 통해 생성된 방사용액의 변색정도를 보여주는 사진이다. 폴리아크릴로나이트릴 (PAN, Polyacrylonitrile) 고분자는 95 °C부근에서 유리전이온도 (glass transition temperature)를 가지기 때문에 상기온도를 기점으로 하여 변색이 진행되는 것이 관찰 된다.
도 12 는 각각 85 °C, 95 °C, 120 °C 및 상온에서의 교반을 통해 생성된 방사용액을 방사한 이후 수득된 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유.멤브레인을 상온의 대기 환경에서 1 분간 황화수소 가스의 농도를 5 ppm 으로 유지시키면서 직접적으로 노출되었을 때 보이는 색변화 정도를 나타낸 것이다. RGB 분석을 통해 전체 이미지영역의 RGB 값 평균과 평균 RGB 값들의 합이 이미지 하기에 표시되어 있다. 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)과 황화수소와 반응하면서 나타나는 색변화는 전체적인 RGB 값을 감소시키기 때문에, RGB 값이 낮을수록 색전이 정도가 더욱 크다고 할 수 있다. 때문에 제안된 온도 지점 중에서는 85 °C 부근에서 고온교반과정을 거친 감지소재의 감도가 눈에 띈다고 할 수 있다. 상기 실험예는 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 고은교반에 의한 영향을 탐구하기 위한 과정일 뿐, 고온교반의 진행온도를 어느 한 지점으로 제한하진 않는다.. 실험예 4. 고온교반과 급랭과정을 거쳐 얻어진 방사용액을 전기방사 후 건조과정을 진행한 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 급탱온도를 다양화하여 황화수소 가스 감지 색변화 특성 평가
염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 방사용액의 급탱온도를 다양하게 설정하여 급랭온도에 대한 색변화 특성을 확인하기 위해서 상기의 실시예 1 의 비이커에 담긴 물을 활용한 급랭온도 조건을 20 0C, 25 °C, 자연냉각으로 설정하여 얻어진 각각의 부재들을 일상적인 대기 환경 (20 °C, 상대습도 40%)에서 가스 배출구와 연결된 튜브를 직접적으로 색변화 센서 표면에 근접 노출시켜 가스 농도 변화에 따른 색변화 특성을 평가하였다.
도 13 은 고온교반된 방사용액을 포함한 유리병을 각각 20 °C, 25 °C 의 온도를 가지는 넁각수에 담가 냉각시키거나 공기 중에 자연냉각을 시킨 후, 방사하여 얻어진 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 5, 1, 0 ppm 으로 가스의 농도를 변화시키면서 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 1 분간 직접노출하여 얻어진 사진이다. 도 13 에 나타난 바와 같이, 각 각의 급랭과정을 거친 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 색변화센서가 5 ppm 과 1 ppm 에서 모두 노출전 (0 ppm)과 대비하여 뚜렷한 색변화를 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있으며, 고농도에서는 짙은 갈색을 나타내지만 저농도로 갈수록 점점 색이 밝아지는 것을 관찰할 수 있다.
도 14 는 고온교반된 방사용액을 포함한 유리병을 각 각 20 °C, 25 C 의 은도를 가지는 냉각수에 담가 냉각시키거나 공기 증에 상온 건조 시킨 후, 방사하여 얻어잔 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 1 ppm 의 황화수소 (H2S) 가스에 60초, 40초, 20초, 0초 간 직접노출하여 얻어진 사진이다.
도 14 에서도 도 13 와 같이 노출시간이 길어질수록 전체적인 색이 짙은 갈색으로 변색되는 것을 볼 수 있으며, 노출시간이 0 초에 가까워질수록 색변화 정도가 점점 열어 지게 된다. 25 °C 로 급랭과정을 거친 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유 색변화센서는 자연냉각된 방사용액에서 수득된 색변화센서보다 더욱 질은 갈색을 띄는 것이 확인된다. 반면, 20 °C 로의 급랭과정이 진행된 색변화센서의 경우 전체영역에서 확연히 연한 색전이 정도를 보이는 것이 확인된다. 상기 실험예는 염료 /고분자 복합 나노섬유의 제조과정 중 방사용액의 급탱과정에 의한 효과를 탐구하기 위한 과정일 뿐, 고온교반 후 진행되는 급랭와 온도를 어느 한 지점으로 제한하진 않는다.
【발명의 실시를 위한 형태】
이상의 설명은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 예시적으로 설명한 것에 불과한 것으로서, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능할 것이다. 따라서 본 발명에 기재된 실시예들은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 한정하기 위한 것이 아니라 설명하기 위한 것이고, 이러한 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 본 발명의 보호 범위는 아래의 청구범위에 의해서 해석되어야 하며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 기술 사상은 본 발명의 권리범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.

Claims

【청구의 범위】
【청구항 1】
고분자 나노섬유; 및
상기 고분자 나노섬유에 결착되는 염료물질
을 포함하고,
상기 염료물질은 상기 염료물질의 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반함에 따른 용융과정과 상기 용융과정 이후의 급랭과정을 거쳐 염료분말의 형태로 상기 고분자 나노섬유의 내부 내지는 표면에 결착되고,
상기 염료물질의 색상이 특정 가스와의 반응을 통해 변하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 2]
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 황화수소 (H2S) 가스와 반웅시 황화납 (PbS)의 생성에 의해 색상이 변하는 아세트산 납 (Lead(II) acetate)을 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 3】
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 자연계에 존재하는 아세트산 납 무수화물 (Lead(II) acetate anhydrous, Pb(CH3COO)2, 녹는점 280 °C)과 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate, Pb(CH3COO)2-3H20, 녹는점 75 °C) 중 상대적으로 낮은 녹는점을 가진 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 4】
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 고분자 및 상기 염료물질을 포함하는 전기방사용액의 전기방사 과정에서 길이 방향으로 연신되어 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상으로 형성되는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 5】
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상의 경우, 단축의 직경이 10 내지 500 nm 의 크기범위에 포함되며, 장축의 길이가 100 nm 내지 5 um 의 크기범위에 포함되는 분말형상으로 상기 고분자 나노섬유에 결착되는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
[청구항. 6】
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 포함하고, 아세트산 납 삼수화물의 녹는점 (75 °C) 이상의 고온에서 고분자와 상기 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 녹여 얻어진 전기방사용액을 냉각수에 함침하는 급랭과정을 거쳐 전기방사하여 상기 염료물질이 상기 고분자 나노섬유로부터 탈리 없이 강하게 결착된 염료-고분자 복합 나노섬유를 형성하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 7]
제 1항에 았어서,
상기 고분자 나노섬유의 직경은 50 nm 내지 2 의 범위에 포함되는 것 을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 8】
제 1항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질의 중량비율은 상기 고분자 나노섬유를 이루는 고분자 대비 0.5 내지 90 wt%의 농도 범위에 포함되는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 자시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서.
【청구항 9】
가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법에 있어서,
(a) 염료물질과 고분자를 용매에 흔합하고, 상기 염료물질의 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 상기 염료물질을 액화시켜 전기방사용액을 제조하는 단계;
(b) 상기 전기방사용액을 급탱하여 상기 고분자가 녹아 있는 상기 전기방사용액 내에서 액화된 상기 염료물질의 결정을 석출시키는 단계; 및 (C) 상기 전기방사용액을 전기방사 장치를 통해 전류집전체에 방사하여 상기 석출된 염료물질이 내부 내지는 표면에 결착된 고분자 나노섬유를 형성하는 단계;
(d) 상기 수득된 염료가 결착된 고분자 나노섬유를 건조하여 안정화를 시켜주는 단계;
를 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 10]
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 (a) 단계는,
상기 염료물질로서 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 상기 고분자와 함께 용매에 흔합하고 상기 아세트산 납 삼수화물의 녹는점 이상의 고온에서 교반하여 상기 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 액화시켜 상기 전기방사용액을 제조하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.

제 9항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 포함하고, 상기 (b) 단계는, 상기 전기방사용액을 급랭하여 상기 고분자가 녹아 있는 용액 내에서 액화된 아세트산 납의 미세결정을 석출시키는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법ᅳ
【청구항 12]
제 9항에 있어서,
(e) 상기 염료물질이 내부 내지는 표면에 결착된 고분자 나노섬유에 가스를 주입하여 색상변화를 확인하는 단계ᅵ
를 더 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 13】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 고분자 나노섬유의 내부 내지는 표면에 결착된 염료물질은 장단축의 비가 1 이상인 양면볼록렌즈 형상의 입자를 적어도 하나 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 14]
제 13항에 있어서,
상기 적어도 하나의 압자는 단축의 직경이 10 내지 500 nm 의 크기범위에 포함되는 분말 형태인 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 15 ] 제 9항에 있어서,

상기 용매의 중량비율은 상기 염료물질 대비 50 내지 99 wt 0/。의 농도범위에 포함되는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 17】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 용매는, 디메틸포름아마이드 (DMF, Dimethylformamide), 에탄을 (Ethanol) 아세톤 (Acetone), 디메틸아세트아마이드 (DMAc, Dimethylacetamide), 테트리;하이드로퓨란 (Tetrahydroflmm), 를루엔 (Toluene), 디메틸 술폭시드 (DMSO, dimethyl sulfoxide) 및 에틸렌 글리콜 (EG, Ethylene glycol) 중 어느 한 종류의 용매 또는 두 종류 이상의 흔합 용매를 포함하는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 18】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 염료물질은 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)을 포함하고,
상기 (b) 단계는,
상기 교반을 통해 액화된 상기 아세트산 납 삼수화물을 포함하는 전기방사용액을 섭씨 25 °C .이하꾀 온도에서 .급랭하아상기 전키방사용액 내부에 아세트산 납 결정을 형성하는 것 을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 19】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 (c) 단계는,
상기 전기방사용액을 전기방사 장치를 통해 부직포가 놓여 있는 전류집전체에 방사하여 상기 염료물질이 내부 내지는 표면에 결착된 고분자 나노섬유를 포함하는 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인을 형성하고,
상기 복합 나노섬유 멤브레인의 두께는 5 내지 100 μη 의 범위에 포함되는 것
을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 20】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 (d) 단계는,
상기 수득된 염료가 결착된 나노섬유를 건조함으로써, 일부 곡선형태를 보이는 결착된 염료들을 아세트산 납 삼수화물 (Lead(II) acetate trihydrate)이 산호하는 판상구조로의 표면개질을 통해 감지소재를 안정화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
【청구항 21】
제 9항에 있어서,
상기 (d) 단계는, 상기 수득된 염료가 결착된 나노섬유를 건조하는 과정의 온도범위는 30 °C 내지는 80 °C 에 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가스 지시용 고분자 나노섬유 센서의 제조방법.
