Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of nutrition, food technology and medicine; since it provides a dietary supplement that improves the fixation of nutrients helping to increase muscle mass.
  • Muscle Mass is the volume of total body tissue that corresponds to muscle. There are three types of muscle, the heart muscle that is part of the heart, the smooth muscle that is found in the viscera and the skeletal muscle whose main function is to carry out the different movements and maintain the posture of the body.
  • Muscular hypertrophy is the scientific name given to the phenomenon of growth in the size of muscle cells, that is, the increase in size of muscle fibers and therefore muscle. Technically it is the growth of muscle cells without a cell division, the muscle subjected to this change also offers a better response to the load. This phenomenon is usually found in the muscles of those athletes who practice anaerobic sports in which they repeat successively the same exercise, such as, for example: bodybuilding, weightlifting and fitness, among others.
  • hypertrophy can be seen as a synthesis of proteins, a cessation of degradation or a combination of both processes.
  • protein synthesis grows at a rate of 112%, 65% and 34% after having spent 3 hours, 24 and 48 of the exercise.
  • breaking of peptide bonds protein oxidation
  • Amino acid transport plays a very important role in protein synthesis, some authors have been able to verify that the transport of amino acids is increased three hours after intense exercise.
  • muscle hypertrophy There are different types of muscle hypertrophy:
  • Physiological muscle hypertrophy It is the result of training and sports practice in bodybuilding and sports in which muscle development is needed. It aims exclusively at muscle growth.
  • the method consists of lifting weights focusing on some muscles as an objective, in this case it is tested with a large weight that is known for sure only one lift can be done until you reach complete muscular fatigue, then the weight size is lowered until four repetitions can be done. If the training is repeated during a season the muscles are conditioned to work at this intensity and repetitions of 6 or 8 can soon be done, if the weight is increased so that it is retrained and this operation is continued, the muscle that Work begins to hypertrophy. This type of training must be monitored by a sports coach since the effort that is made can overcome the resistance of the tendons leading to consequent muscle and bone injuries.
  • Muscle hypertrophy due to the use of asteroids It is the muscular hypertrophy caused by hormonal stimulation due to the intake of anabolics that is considered as a doping, with the risk to the user of suffering numerous side effects such as interference in genital growth and development , if consumed during adolescence, masculinity in women, atrophy testicular in men, as well as changes in libido and decreased reproductive capacity, heart failure and heart attacks, hypomania (pathological elevation of mood and exaggerated need to be active) and tendency to aggressiveness, increased risk of injury Musculotendinous and reproductive system cancer, fluid retention and high blood pressure. 3.
  • Pathological muscular hypertrophy It is the muscular hypertrophy that occurs as a characteristic sign of diseases such as ventricular hypertrophy, hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, in Kocher syndrome and Thomsen hypertrophic congenital myotonia.

  • the present invention provides a dietary supplement that allows improving nutrient fixation by helping to increase muscle mass comprising:
  • Creatine is an anabolic that is currently used as a dietary supplement in some intensity sports, due to its ergogenic properties and allows repetitive loads and short recovery periods, with the aim of gaining anaerobic energy. Creatine is naturally produced in the human body from amino acids primarily in the kidney and liver. It is transported in the blood for muscle use. Approximately 95% of the total creatine in the human body is found in the muscle skeletal. Creatine is not an essential nutrient, since it is biosynthesized in the human body from L-arginine, glycine and L-methionine. In humans and animals, approximately half of the stored creatine is consumed from food (especially from meat).
  • Creatine is 100% natural and is naturally present in many foods, therefore, it can never be banned in any sport or international competitions. Many foods, especially herring, salmon, tuna and beef contain some creatine. However, the best source of creatine at the moment is creatine monohydrate, as it contains more creatine per product weight than any other source. Creatine is not marketed in its purest form due to the instability it offers and for this reason it is common to find it as a monohydrate: "creatine monohydrate", which is a creatine molecule attached to a water molecule.
  • Creatine Monohydrate in the dietary supplement that allows to improve the fixation of nutrients helping to increase muscle mass, are:

  • HMB Hydroxy Beta Methylbutyrate
  • HMB is not an essential nutrient, so there is no specific requirement. HMB is found in small amounts in citrus fruits and catfish. However, to obtain a therapeutic dose you need to consume a supplement in the form of powder or pills.
  • HMB can improve the response to weightlifting.
  • a small, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial found evidence that HMB could help prevent muscle damage during prolonged exercise, therefore potentially increasing recovery during physical training.

  • Whey protein is a product composed mainly of globular proteins of high biological value extracted from whey, a resulting liquid milk as a by-product during the production of some cheeses. It is generally marketed and used as a dietary supplement for sports activity, especially with the aim of developing strength or increasing muscle mass. Some preclinical studies in rodents have suggested that whey protein may possess anti-inflammatory or anti-cancer properties, however, human data is scarce. The effects of whey protein on human health are of great interest and are being investigated as a way to reduce the risk of diseases, as well as possible complementary treatment for various diseases. Although whey protein is responsible for some Milk allergies, the main allergen in milk is casein.
  • Whey stays when the milk coagulates during the cheese production process, and contains everything that is soluble in the milk after the pH is reduced to 4.6 during the coagulation process. It is a 5% solution of lactose in water, with some minerals and albumin lacto.

  • Leucine is one of the twenty amino acids that cells use to synthesize proteins; It is one of the essential amino acids that we have to contribute to our body through diet, being unable to synthesize it. As a dietary supplement, leucine has been found to reduce muscle tissue degradation by increasing the synthesis of muscle proteins in old rats. Leucine does not act as a carbon source for glucose synthesis as it is ketogenic and non-glycogenic. It has the ability to mimic insulin and help sugar get into cells. It can also replace glucose during periods of fasting, a unique property compared to other amino acids. In other words, Leucine improves glucose and insulin homeostasis by stabilizing blood glucose levels. Leucine is altered during aging, which causes an imbalance in the breakdown and production of muscle proteins; reason for which a loss of muscular mass in the elderly people originates.
  • Leucine in the dietary supplement that allows to improve the fixation of nutrients helping to increase muscle mass, are:
  • L-arginine is a fundamental chemical block called "amino acid.” L-arginine is found in red meat, in poultry and dairy products, it can also be made in the laboratory and used as a medicine. L-arginine is used for conditions of the heart and blood vessels including congestive heart failure (CHF), chest pain, high blood pressure and coronary artery disease. L-arginine is also used for recurrent pain in the legs due to arteries that are blocked, for the treatment of decreased mental capacity in the elderly, for erectile dysfunction and male infertility.
