Description
NATURAL GRASS VENTILATION SYSTEM Technical Field
The invention particularly relates to a natural grass ventilation system used for providing air circulation to grass surfaces in covered stadiums. Background of the Invention
Nowadays, natural air circulation cannot be achieved completely in arena-type stadiums covered on all sides and at the top. That air circulation can be distributed homogeneously on the whole surface is the desired situation.
In the prior art systems, fans in certain sizes are positioned at the sides of the field in order to solve the natural air circulation problem in said stadiums covered on all sides and at the top. In the prior art systems, fans are used in order to ensure natural air circulation in stadiums covered on all sides. Said fans blow air in their forward direction without any guidance. When ventilation is provided in this way, the fan blows air approximately 10- 15 meters away depending on its capacity. Movement of air to 10-15-meter distance causes inadequate air circulation.
Larger fans are used in order to increase the range of air flow. However, air flow cannot go beyond 20-25 m range even if larger fans are used. Therefore, air circulation cannot be made as desired in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top. When the fans are enlarged in order to bring air flow to the desired level, high-speed air blown by said fans causes the grass found close to the fans to dry. While usage of larger fans cannot provide air circulation as desired, it also causes the grass found close to the fans to dry as a result of the impact of high-speed wind. Therefore, large fans cannot provide desired efficiency as they cannot be used continuously.
In order to overcome this problem, large fans are not operated continuously, and they are constantly turned on and off at 10-15 minute intervals. A worker is required to turn the fans on and off constantly, and this brings additional cost.
As is known, fans are electronically operated devices. Therefore, turning these devices on and off constantly would cause additional electricity costs.
Moreover, in the case of ventilation by using fan systems, manual intervention is required for the places where the fans cannot reach.
Regarding this subject, in the literature, in the abstract of Turkish Patent application No. 2000/01347, it is disclosed that "a ventilation equipment to be fixed as integrated with windows, doors and similar structures, particularly on facade components and is aimed at effective use of power and increased comfort for rear sections. The ventilation equipment according to the invention positioned within a single frame without the need for an additional frame part comprises a small frame, a blade, gasket, a glass section, a glass strip, a glass blade, a perforated glass strip, fixing elements, a ventilation opening, and ventilation spaces. A ventilation space is found on the glass blade, and this ventilation space is preferably positioned on the upper section of the glass blade."
Again, regarding the subject in the literature, Japanese Patent application No. JPH0755187A relates to a product that is designed particularly for use in golf courses and ensures heating and ventilation of the player.
Said cases have necessitated a ventilation system that provides natural air circulation in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top and has continuous operation capacity.
Description of the Invention
In the light of the state of the art, purpose of the invention is to provide a fan/ventilator that ensures air circulation naturally in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide natural air circulation in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top through its textile air channels. Another purpose of the invention is to distribute air homogenously over the field.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide air circulation over the grass surface without adding extra weight to the grass surface, through its air channels made of textile.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide air circulation through its textile air channels without the need to intervene in the field.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide operational convenience in its installation as its air channel is made of textile.
Another purpose of the invention is to ensure that the grass is not affected by cold weather conditions by blowing warm air in winter, by means of the heating units to be placed in front of the fans.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the novelty according to the invention is only disclosed for better understanding of the subject without forming any limiting effect.
The invention particularly relates to a natural grass ventilation system (A) used for providing air circulation in covered stadiums.
A natural grass ventilation system (A) used in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top, for providing natural air circulation within the stadium, and it comprises a trolley (1 ) allowing transportation of said natural grass ventilation system (A) to desired places and mounting onto the fan (3), a fan (3) positioned on a trolley (1 ) and allowing intake of air into said natural grass ventilation system (A), an air channel (4) ensuring homogeneous distribution of air in the field, when in use, and stored in a chamber (2), when not in use.
The natural grass ventilation system (A) comprises an embodiment used in stadiums covered on all sides and at the top for providing natural air circulation within the
stadium. Said natural grass ventilation system (A) is transported to desired places by moving it through its wheels (12).
The wheels (12) found below the trolley (1 ) of the natural grass ventilation system (A) are set to the position shown in Figure 5. This positioning forms the first step of installation. Following the positioning, the fan (3) found on said natural grass ventilation system (A) is mounted on the trolley (1 ).
The air channel (4) found on the chamber (2) section of the trolley (1 ) is mounted on the fan (3) by means of at least one air channel mounting component (9).
The rope (5) is fixed to the floor. Said rope (5) ensures that the air channel (4) is tightly positioned between the trolley (1 ) and the ground. This tight form is very important to ensure the natural flow of air.
After the mounting is completed, the fan (3) is turned on and ventilation starts.
The fan (3) positioned on the trolley (1 ) ensures intake of air into the natural grass ventilation system (A). The air taken into the natural grass ventilation system (A) through said fan (3) passes through the air channel (4) and ventilates the grass in the stadium.
Air flows out of the system through the short range air blowing ports (6) found on the air channel (4) and ventilates the grasses near said air channel (4). On the other hand, the air flowing out of the long range air blowing ports (7) found on the air channel (4) ensures ventilation of the grasses that are away from said air channel (4).
Considering this type of ventilation, all the stadiums covered on all sides and at the top can be ventilated naturally, homogenously, and easily.
Since said short and long range blowing ports (6, 7) provide air flow close to ideal air flow; therefore, there is no need to turn the fan (3) on and off, and said fan (3) can be operated continuously. As a result, additional costs are avoided. In addition, grasses do not dry (fade or die) due to turning the air flow on and off constantly.
The rope (5) is unfastened after ventilation is completed. Unfastened rope (5) is then collected and put in the chamber (2) together with the air channel (4). And they are made ready for the next ventilation session. Making this operation in one step makes it easy to repeat said operation next time. Therefore, ventilation operation is made easier.
The guard plate (8) positioned in front of the fan (3) that ensures flow of air into the natural grass ventilation system (A) prevents unwanted particles from getting into said natural grass ventilation system (A).
The guard plates (10) found on both sides of the trolley (1 ) protect the sides of said trolley (1 ). A heating unit (1 1 ) can be placed in front of the fan (3) positioned on the natural grass ventilation system (A) for use in cold weather conditions. Said heating units (1 1 ) ensure heating of cold air and provide ventilation with warm air.
Besides textile material, the air channel (4) can also be made of canvas, composite material, spiral tube, or channel materials in wheeled or wheel-free accordion system.
