Abstract

Machine is significant with that the cutting assembly (7) comprises of the two circular saw blades, the first circular saw blade (19) and second circular saw blade (20), which are aligned basically in single plane and are separated from one another. Distance between axis of the circular saw blade (19) and the second circular saw blade (20) is greater than the diameter of the first circular saw blade (19) and there is the separator between them. Separator comprises from sheet (22) positioned in the plane of circular saw blades (19, 20) and the wedge (23) perpendicular to them.

Description

CONSTRUCTION OF MACHINE F OR HARVE S TING
ENERG Y CROPS
[001] The present invention relates to construction of machine for harvesting energy crops designated to be utilized as renewable energy source.
[002] The patented description No. PL 67436 Yl discloses the device for harvesting and chopping of plants wooden shoots. The device is designated to be used with agricultural tractor. The device comprises of the supporting frame fitted with jockey wheel on one side and three point hitch on the other side. To the supporting frame, between the jockey wheel and the suspension system there are sequentially mounted three subsystems, chopping assembly, the cutting assembly and the supply assembly. The cutting assembly and the supply assembly are arranged under one housing. To this housing, and above it there is attached the boom bending the shoots to be cut. And to the sides of the housing there are deflectors arms directing shoots towards the cutting assembly. The chopping assembly is fitted with the tubular outlet chute shaped as a boom. The chopping assembly comprises of two identical circular saw blades, which discs are positioned on two separate planes and overlap one another. Axis of the circular saw blades are slightly sloped from the vertical. On the other hand, the supply assembly comprises of two pairs of cylinders of horizontal axis, and where the first pair pre-presses the cut forage, and second pair delivers the forage to chopping assembly. The chopping assembly comprises of the disc with cutting blade spread radially along its circumference, and tangentially to the disc and in its housing there is an outlet. To this outlet there is tubular chute attached. The chopping assembly is powered by hydraulic motor, supplied with oil from hydraulic pump driven by PTO shaft from the tractor. And the chopping assembly and the supply assembly are driven by the very PTO shaft but through the mechanical transmissions.
[003] Similar devices are also disclosed in the descriptions numbered PL 213712 Bl , PL 213791 or PL 67020 Yl . In all of the above listed embodiments disc blades overlap one another. The above devices allow for harvesting and chopping of the plant shoots growing in one row. [004] The core of the design concept for forage harvesting device for harvesting energy crops, wherein on the supporting frame there are three subsystems sequentially mounted, the chopping assembly, the supply assembly and the cutting assembly, and wherein the supporting frame is fitted with mounting structure and the chopping assembly comprises of the disc with cutting blade radially spread along its circumference, and tangentially to the blade and in its housing there is an outlet, and the supply assembly comprises of two pairs of cylinders of horizontal axis, and the cutting assembly comprises of two cutting blade discs and the core concept is that distance between axis of the first cutting disc and the axis of the second cutting disc is greater than the diameter of the first cutting disc and between both discs there is a plant shoots distributor. The preferred distributor comprises of the plate located in the plane of the cutting blades and between them and perpendicularly to the plane of the wedge.
The supporting frame for the option to be attachable to the tractor is fitted with two driven wheels suspended on the rocker arms and has a tiller terminated with a two- point hitch. Directly or indirectly, preferably there is a boom mounted on the support frame, which is supported by the arms mounted to the sides of the supply assembly. In particular case the boom rests on the lateral member supported on the sides on the structures mounted to the arms. [005] Unexpectedly it became apparent that, it is possible to harvest simultaneously shoots of plants grown in two rows or heavily overgrown without changing device dimensions and maintaining arrangement of two circular saw blades in the cutting assembly.
[006] Construction of machine for harvesting energy crops is shown in the particular embodiment on the sketch drawings, for which:
• fig. 1 is a perspective view of the machine, from top;
• fig. 2. is a perspective view of the machine, from down under;
• fig. 3 is a top view of the machine;
• fig. 4 is a cross section view of the machine. [007] Fig. 1 shows forage harvesting device in perspective view, from top, fitted with covers. The forage harvesting device comprises of supporting frame (1), to which from one side there is attached the tiller (2) terminated with two point hitch (3), and on the other side there are attached two wheels (4a, 4b) on the rocker arms (5a, 5b). To the support frame (1) from one side the supply assembly (6) is attached, followed by the cutting assembly (7). On the other side of the support frame (1) there is attached chopping assembly (8) terminated with discharge chute (9). To the sides of supply assembly (6) there are the arms (1 la, 1 lb) attached, on which the boom (12) is resting, terminated with handlebars (13), and the other end of the boom (12) is pivotally attached to the upper part of the support frame (1) and furthermore is attached to the supply assembly housing (6) with the small actuator (14).
[008] The boom (12) is supported via the arms (11 a, l ib), so that it rests on the lateral beam (15) linking support structures (16a, 16b) resting on the swivel arms (1 la, 1 lb). The tiller (2) carries PTO shaft (17), which drives the power from the tractor through the transmission assembly (18) and shafts to the supply assembly (6) and chopping assembly (8). Each circular saw blade (19, 20) is powered individually by hydraulic motor.
[009] The Figure 2 shows forage harvesting device without its covers, the perspective view, from the down under. The cutting assembly (7) comprises of two circular saw blades, the first circular saw blade (19) and the second circular saw blade (20), which are basically arranged in one plane but are distanced one from another. The distance between axis of the first circular saw blade (19) and second circular saw blade axis (20) is greater than diameter of the circular saw blades (19, 20), and there is a separator (21) between them. The separator (21) comprises of the sheet (22) located on the same plane as circular saw blades (19, 20) and the wedge (23) perpendicular to them.
[010] Figure 3 shows the forage harvesting device in the top view. To the support frame (1) on one side there is attached the tiller (2) terminated with two point hitch (3), and from the other side there are attached two wheels (4a, 4b) on the rocker arms (5a, 5b). To the support frame (1) from one side there is attached the supply assembly (6), and the cutting assembly (7) is attached to it. From the other side of the support frame (1) attached is the chopping assembly (8) terminated with discharge chute (9). The sides of the supply assembly (6) are attached the arms (1 la, 1 lb), which support the boom (12) terminated with tube shaped as handlebars (13), and the other end of the boom (12) is pivotally attached to the upper part of the support frame (1). The cutting assembly (7) comprises of the two circular saw blades, the first circular saw blade (19) and second circular saw blade (20), and there is a separator (21) between them. Whereas to the arms (1 la, 1 lb) and covers of the circular saw blades propeller shafts (19, 20) there are mounted converging deflectors (24a, 24b), which press the cut shoots and direct them to the inlet of the supply assembly (6).
[011] Figure 4 shows cross section of the forage harvesting device, through the place disclosed in the Figure 3. To the support frame (1) from one side there is attached the tiller (2), and form other side on the rocker arm (5b) the second wheel is attached (4b). To the support frame (1) there is mounted a chopping assembly (8), the supply assembly (6) and the cutting assembly (7). The chopping assembly comprises of the disc (26) fitted with a radially arranged blades and covered by the housing (27). The supply assembly comprises of two pairs of cylinders of horizontal axis, and the first pair (28a, 28b) pre-presses the cut shoots and the second pair (29a, 29b) supplies material to chopping assembly (8). Between the lower cylinder (28b) and second circular saw blade (20) there is an auxiliary cylinder (30), which makes guiding of the cut shoots easier between the first pair of cylinders (28a, 28b). The second circular saw blade (20) is mounted on the shaft fitted with bearings in the housing (31), to which another deflector (24b) is attached.

Claims

1. Construction of machine for harvesting energy crops, where on the support frame are sequentially mounted three assemblies, the chopping assembly, the supply assembly and the cutting assembly, and whereas the support frame is fitted with the mounting system, and the chopping assembly comprises of disc fitted with a radially arranged blades around its circumference, and tangentially to the disc in its housing there is the outlet, and the supply assembly comprises of two pairs of horizontally arranged cylinders, and the cutting assembly comprises of two circular saw blades, distinguishing with, that the distance between first circular saw blade (19) axis and second circular saw blade axis (20) is greater than diameter of the first circular saw blade (19) and that between first circular saw blade (19) and second circular saw blade (20) there is a separator (21).
2. Machine according to the Claim 1 distinguished with, that the separator (21) comprises of sheet (22) placed in the plane of circular saw blades (19, 20) and in between them and basically perpendicular to the sheet (22) there is the wedge (23).
3. Machine according to the Claim 1 distinguished with, that the support frame (1) is fitted with two driven wheels (4a, 4b) suspended on the rocker arms (5a, 5b) and fitted with the tiller (2) terminated with the two point hitch (3).
4. Machine according to the Claim 1 distinguished with, that to the support frame (1) directly or indirectly there is boom (12) attached supported by arms (1 la, 1 lb) mounted to the sides of the supply assembly (6).
5. Machine according to the Claim 1 distinguished with, that the boom (12) rests on the lateral beam (15) supported by support structure (16a, 16b) attached to the arms (I la, l ib).
