Abstract

La présente invention concerne une plante transgénique ayant une photosynthèse améliorée et une séparation accrue des assimilats sous forme de fruits, graines et/ou autres partie de plante. La plante transgénique comprend un transporteur de bicarbonate hétérologue et est spécifiquement conçue pour avoir une expression réduite de l'activité de l'inhibiteur de l'invertase de la paroi cellulaire (CWII) et/ou une expression accrue de l'activité de l'invertase de la paroi cellulaire (CWI). L'invention porte également sur des procédés de production de la plante transgénique et sur un polynucléotide transgénique.
