Abstract
The invention relates to a solar energy system used to transform gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy that can be stored in a spring. This is done by collecting and concentrating light rays on a hanging tank (27b) by means of a concave mirror (36), to increase the temperature of the water and cause same to evaporate into an upper tank (23) by means of a plastic pipe (32), such that the steam is collected and condensed. This evaporation reduces the weight of the tank (27b), which makes a fixed weight (27a) heavier, causing a pulley (22) to rotate to restore balance. Meanwhile, the pulley (22) rotates by means of a rotary shaft (24), the movement being transmitted to a lower part. A hydraulic piston (4) subsequently exerts pressure on a clutch (3) to rotate a rotary barrel (10) around which is wound a steel rope having an end attached to an upper base (19) that descends when the steel rope pulls, a base (18) thereby compressing the spring (16) to transform kinetic energy into potential energy in the spring. Once the spring has been compressed to a determined level, it is connected to an electricity generator that transforms the energy in the spring into electricity.
