전체 시스템의 구성

도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전체 시스템은 통신망(100), 관리 시스템(200), 사용자 디바이스(300) 및 디지털 사이니지(400)를 포함할 수 있다.

본 발명에 따른 관리 시스템(200)의 구성과 기능에 관하여는 이하의 상세한 설명을 통하여 자세하게 알아보기로 한다. 한편, 관리 시스템(200)에 관하여 위와 같이 설명되었으나, 이러한 설명은 예시적인 것이고, 관리 시스템(200)에 요구되는 기능이나 구성요소의 적어도 일부가 필요에 따라 사용자 디바이스(300) 또는 디지털 사이니지(400) 내에서 실현되거나 사용자 디바이스(300) 또는 디지털 사이니지(400) 내에 포함될 수도 있음은 당업자에게 자명하다.
다음으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 사용자 디바이스(300)는 사용자가 관리 시스템(200) 또는 디지털 사이니지(400)에 접속한 후 통신할 수 있도록 하는 기능을 포함하는 디지털 디바이스로서, 스마트폰, 태블릿, 데스크탑 컴퓨터, 노트북 컴퓨터, 워크스테이션, PDA, 웹 패드, 이동 전화기 등과 같이 메모리 수단을 구비하고 마이크로 프로세서를 탑재하여 연산 능력을 갖춘 디지털 디바이스라면 얼마든지 본 발명에 따른 사용자 디바이스(300)로서 채택될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 사용자 디바이스(300)는 제어 권한을 부여 받은 디지털 사이니지(400)에 접속하여 디지털 사이니지(400)의 적어도 일부 기능을 제어함으로써, 사용자가 디지털 사이니지(400)를 능동적으로 활용할 수 있도록 지원하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 사용자 디바이스(300)는 위와 같은 기능을 수행하는 애플리케이션(미도시됨)을 포함할 수 있다. 이와 같은 애플리케이션은 관리 시스템(200) 또는 공지의 웹 서버(미도시됨)로부터 다운로드된 것일 수 있다. 한편, 이러한 프로그램 모듈의 성격은 후술할 바와 같은 관리 시스템(200)의 인터페이싱부(210), 제어 권한 관리부(220), 통신부(230) 및 제어부(240)와 전반적으로 유사할 수 있다. 여기서, 애플리케이션은 그 적어도 일부가 필요에 따라 그것과 실질적으로 동일하거나 균등한 기능을 수행할 수 있는 하드웨어 장치나 펌웨어 장치로 치환될 수도 있다.
다음으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 디지털 사이니지(400)는 관리 시스템(200)으로부터 제공 받은 애플리케이션 또는 컨텐츠를 디지털 사이니지(400)의 주변에 있는 사람들에게 제공하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 도한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 디지털 사이니지(400)는, 자신의 기능 중 적어도 일부 기능을 수행함에 있어서, 자신에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받은 사용자 디바이스(300)와 상호작용할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 디지털 사이니지(400)는 LCD 패널, OLED 패널과 같은 표시 화면과 음향 출력을 위한 스피커 등을 더 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 디지털 사이니지(400)는 백화점, 지하철, 버스 정류장, 공항, 호텔, 병원 등의 공공 장소에 설치될 수 있으나, 이는 예시적으로 열거한 것에 불과할 뿐 본 발명에 따라 디지털 사이니지(400)가 설치되는 장소가 반드시 상기 열거된 것에 한정되는 것은 아님을 밝혀 둔다.
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따라 사용자가 디지털 사이니지(400)를 사용하는 과정을 개략적으로 살펴보면 아래와 같다.
관리 시스템의 구성
이하에서는, 본 발명에 따른 관리 시스템(200)의 내부 구성과 각 구성요소의 기능에 대하여 살펴보기로 한다.

먼저, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 인터페이싱부(210)는 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)로부터 디지털 사이니지(400) 탐색 요청이 수신되면, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는(즉, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)와 연결될 수 있는) 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지(410, 420)를 탐색하고, 그 탐색된 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지(410, 420)에 관한 정보를 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 제공하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
여기서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지(410, 420)는, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)로부터 기설정된 거리 내에 존재하는 디지털 사이니지(410, 420)로서, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)와 유선 또는 무선 통신망(100)을 통하여 연결될 수 있는 디지털 사이니지(410, 420)를 가리킬 수 있다.

또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 제2 사용자 디바이스(320)로부터 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한 부여 요청이 수신되면, 제2 사용자 디바이스(320), 제2 사용자 디바이스(320)와 연관된 사용자 계정 및 제1 디지털 사이니지(410) 중 적어도 하나에 관한 상황 정보와 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 이미 부여된 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한에 관한 정보를 참조로 하여, 제2 사용자 디바이스(320)에게 부여될 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 결정하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 여기서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 부여되는 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한과 제2 사용자 디바이스(320)에게 부여되는 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한은 서로 충돌되거나 중복되지 않도록 결정될 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 사용자 디바이스에게 특정 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한이 부여되면, 특정 디지털 사이니지가 속하는 디지털 사이니지 그룹에 속하는 다른 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한도 해당 사용자 디바이스에게 부여할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제2 디지털 사이니지(420)에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받은 제3 사용자 디바이스(330)는 제2 디지털 사이니지(420)와 같은 그룹(400A)에 속하는 제3 디지털 사이니지(430)에 대한 제어 권한도 부여 받을 수 있다.
여기서, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 부여될 수 있는 제1 디지털 사이지니(410)에 대한 제어 권한은, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)를 제어할 수 있는 시간, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에서 실행되는 애플리케이션 중 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제어할 수 있는 애플리케이션의 범위, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에서 제공되는 컨텐츠 중 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제어할 수 있는 컨텐츠의 범위, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)와 연결된 다른 디지털 사이니지(420) 중 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제어할 수 있는 다른 디지털 사이니지(420)의 범위 등을 특정할 수 있다.
구체적으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한을 결정함에 있어서 참조로 될 수 있는 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에 관한 상황 정보에는, 제1 사용자 디바이스의 사양, 성능, 위치 등에 관한 정보가 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 요청한 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 키보드 입력 수단을 구비하고 있다는 취지의 상황 정보를 참조로 하여, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)의 키보드 입력 기능을 제어할 수 있는 권한을 부여할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한을 결정함에 있어서 참조로 될 수 있는 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)와 연관된 사용자 계정에 관한 상황 정보에는, 해당 사용자 계정이 가지는 권한에 관한 정보, 해당 사용자의 인구통계학적 정보 등이 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)의 사용자가 미성년자라는 취지의 상황 정보를 참조로 하여, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에서 제공되는 전체 컨텐츠 중 성인 컨텐츠를 제외한 컨텐츠에만 접근할 수 있는 권한을 부여할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한을 결정함에 있어서 참조로 될 수 있는 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 관한 상황 정보에는, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받은 다른 사용자 디바이스(320, 330, 340)의 수, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 다른 사용자 디바이스(320, 330, 340)의 수, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)로부터 기설정된 거리 내에 존재하는 다른 사용자 디바이스(320, 330, 340)의 수 등에 관한 정보가 포함될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받은 다른 사용자 디바이스(320, 330, 340)의 수가 많을수록 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)가 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)를 제어할 수 있는 시간을 줄일 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한 관리부(220)는 상황 정보가 변화됨에 따라 사용자 디바이스(310, 320, 330, 340)에게 부여되는 디지털 사이니지(410, 420, 430)에 대한 제어 권한을 동적으로 변경할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 제어 권한 관리부(220)는, 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 요청한 사용자 디바이스의 수가 기설정된 수를 초과함에 따라 이미 부여된 제어 권한을 조정할 필요가 있는 경우에, 적어도 하나의 사용자 디바이스(예를 들면, 가장 오랫동안 제어 권한을 보유하고 있던 사용자 디바이스)의 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에 대한 제어 권한을 박탈할 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 제어 권한 관리부(220)는 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)에게 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한이 부여되면, 제1 사용자 디바이스(310)로부터 수신되는 제어 명령이 기설정된 방식에 따라 암호화되어 제1 디지털 사이니지(410)에게 전송되도록 할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 사용자 디바이스와 제1 디지털 사이니지 사이에서 전송되는 데이터는 RSA 암호화 등의 방식에 따라 암호화될 수 있으며, 이로써 디지털 사이니지(400)에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받지 않은 사용자 디바이스(미도시됨)에 의해 디지털 사이니지(400)가 무단으로 제어되는 것을 방지하고, 여러 사용자 디바이스(300)에 의해 공용될 수 있는 디지털 사이니지(400)를 통하여 사용자의 개인 정보 등이 유출되는 것을 방지할 수 있게 된다.
다음으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 통신부(230)는 관리 시스템(200)으로부터의/으로의 데이터 송수신이 가능하도록 하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다.

이상 설명된 본 발명에 따른 실시예는 다양한 컴퓨터 구성요소를 통하여 실행될 수 있는 프로그램 명령어의 형태로 구현되어 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체에 기록될 수 있다. 상기 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체는 프로그램 명령어, 데이터 파일, 데이터 구조 등을 단독으로 또는 조합하여 포함할 수 있다. 상기 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체에 기록되는 프로그램 명령어는 본 발명을 위하여 특별히 설계되고 구성된 것이거나 컴퓨터 소프트웨어 분야의 당업자에게 공지되어 사용 가능한 것일 수 있다. 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체의 예에는, 하드 디스크, 플로피 디스크 및 자기 테이프와 같은 자기 매체, CD-ROM 및 DVD와 같은 광기록 매체, 플롭티컬 디스크(floptical disk)와 같은 자기-광 매체(magneto-optical medium), 및 ROM, RAM, 플래시 메모리 등과 같은, 프로그램 명령어를 저장하고 실행하도록 특별히 구성된 하드웨어 장치가 포함된다. 프로그램 명령어의 예에는, 컴파일러에 의하여 만들어지는 것과 같은 기계어 코드뿐만 아니라 인터프리터 등을 사용하여 컴퓨터에 의해서 실행될 수 있는 고급 언어 코드도 포함된다. 하드웨어 장치는 본 발명에 따른 처리를 수행하기 위하여 하나 이상의 소프트웨어 모듈로 변경될 수 있으며, 그 역도 마찬가지이다.
이상에서 본 발명이 구체적인 구성요소 등과 같은 특정 사항과 한정된 실시예 및 도면에 의하여 설명되었으나, 이는 본 발명의 보다 전반적인 이해를 돕기 위하여 제공된 것일 뿐, 본 발명이 상기 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상적인 지식을 가진 자라면 이러한 기재로부터 다양한 수정과 변경을 꾀할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 사상은 상기 설명된 실시예에 국한되어 정해져서는 아니 되며, 후술하는 특허청구범위뿐만 아니라 이 특허청구범위와 균등한 또는 이로부터 등가적으로 변경된 모든 범위는 본 발명의 사상의 범주에 속한다고 할 것이다.

Claims (12)

  1. 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage)에 대한 제어 권한을 관리하기 위한 방법으로서,
    제1 사용자 디바이스로부터 디지털 사이니지 탐색 요청이 수신되면, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지에 관한 정보를 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 제공하는 단계, 및
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스로부터 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한 부여 요청이 수신되면, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스와 연관된 사용자 계정 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지 중 적어도 하나에 관한 상황 정보를 참조로 하여, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 부여될 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 결정하는 단계
    를 포함하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제어 권한은, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지를 제어할 수 있는 시간, 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에서 실행되는 애플리케이션 중 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어할 수 있는 애플리케이션의 범위, 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에서 제공되는 컨텐츠 중 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어할 수 있는 컨텐츠의 범위 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지와 연결된 다른 디지털 사이니지 중 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어할 수 있는 다른 디지털 사이니지의 범위 중 적어도 하나를 특정하는 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지에는, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스로부터 기설정된 거리 내에 존재하는 디지털 사이니지가 포함되는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에 관한 상황 정보에는, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스의 사양, 성능 및 위치 중 적어도 하나에 관한 정보가 포함되는 방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스와 연관된 사용자 계정에 관한 상황 정보에는, 상기 사용자 계정이 가지는 권한에 관한 정보 및 상기 사용자의 인구통계학적 정보 중 적어도 하나가 포함되는 방법.
  6. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 관한 상황 정보에는, 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 부여 받은 다른 사용자 디바이스의 수, 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 다른 사용자 디바이스의 수 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지로부터 기설정된 거리 내에 존재하는 다른 사용자 디바이스의 수 중 적어도 하나에 관한 정보가 포함되는 방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 상황 정보가 변함에 따라 상기 제어 권한을 동적으로 변경하는 방법.
  8. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한이 부여되면, 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지가 속하는 그룹에 속하는 다른 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 부여하는 단계
    를 더 포함하는 방법.
  9. 제1항에 있어서,
    제2 사용자 디바이스로부터 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한 부여 요청이 수신되면, 상기 제2 사용자 디바이스, 상기 제2 사용자 디바이스와 연관된 사용자 계정 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지 중 적어도 하나에 관한 상황 정보와 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 부여된 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한에 관한 정보를 참조로 하여, 상기 제2 사용자 디바이스에게 부여될 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 결정하는 단계
    를 더 포함하는 방법.
  10. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한이 부여되면, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지 사이에서 전송되는 데이터가 기설정된 방식에 따라 암호화되도록 하는 단계
    를 더 포함하는 방법.
  11. 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 실행하기 위한 컴퓨터 프로그램을 기록하는 비일시성의 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체.
  12. 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage)에 대한 제어 권한을 관리하기 위한 시스템으로서,
    제1 사용자 디바이스로부터 디지털 사이니지 탐색 요청이 수신되면, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스가 제어 권한을 요청할 수 있는 적어도 하나의 디지털 사이니지에 관한 정보를 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 제공하는 인터페이싱부, 및
    상기 제1 사용자 디바이스로부터 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한 부여 요청이 수신되면, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스와 연관된 사용자 계정 및 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지 중 적어도 하나에 관한 상황 정보를 참조로 하여, 상기 제1 사용자 디바이스에게 부여될 상기 제1 디지털 사이니지에 대한 제어 권한을 결정하는 제어 권한 관리부
    를 포함하는 시스템.
