Abstract
Description
第1実施形態について説明する。図1(A)は、本実施形態に係る撮像システム1を示す図である。図1(B)は、本実施形態に係る検出部11および画像生成部12を示す図である。撮像システム1は、例えば、病理診断などに利用される。撮像システム1は、乳房の組織BTに所定波長の赤外光を照射しながら組織BTを撮像する。組織BTは、例えば、外科的切除されたものであり、ホルマリン(例、ホルムアルデヒド溶液)等の組織固定液を用いて固定されたものでもよい。また、組織BTは、生検などで取り出された乳房の一部であってもよいし、身体から取り出される前(身体に付随した状態)の乳房の組織であってもよい。
上述の実施形態においては、撮像装置3を病理診断に利用する例を説明したが、撮像装置3を手術支援システム(医療支援システム)に利用することもできる。図11は、手術支援システムSYSの一例を示す図である。この手術支援システムSYSは、上述の実施形態で説明した撮像装置3(撮像システム1)を利用したマンモトームである。

Claims (25)
- 乳房の組織に赤外光を照射することと、
前記赤外光の照射により前記組織から放射される光のうち、1400nm以上1650nm以下の波長帯から選択される狭波長帯の光を検出することと、
前記検出された前記狭波長帯の光をもとに前記組織における乳癌細胞塊または乳癌組織の存在領域を特定する画像を生成することと、
を含む撮像方法。 - 前記狭波長帯は、水分の光学特性および脂質の光学特性に基づいて選定されている、請求項1に記載の撮像方法。
- 前記狭波長帯の光は、波長が1400nm、1500nm又は1600nmの光である、請求項1または請求項2に記載の撮像方法。
- 前記赤外光のピーク波長は、1400nm以上1650nm以下に設定される、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の撮像方法。
- 前記赤外光のスペクトルの半値幅が100nm以下である請求項4に記載の撮像方法。
- 乳房の組織に赤外光を照射する照射部と、
前記赤外光の照射により前記組織から放射される光のうち、1400nm以上1650nm以下の波長帯から選択される狭波長帯の光を検出する検出部と、
前記検出部の検出結果をもとに前記組織における乳癌細胞塊または乳癌組織の存在領域を特定する画像を生成する画像生成部と、を備える撮像装置。 - 前記狭波長帯は、水分の光学特性および脂質の光学特性に基づいて選定されている、請求項6に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記狭波長帯の光は、波長が1400nm、1500nm又は1600nmの光である、請求項6または請求項7に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記赤外光のピーク波長は、1400nm以上1650nm以下に設定される、請求項6から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記赤外光のスペクトルの半値幅が100nm以下である請求項9に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記照射部は、発光ダイオードまたはレーザダイオードを含む、請求項10に記載の撮像装置。
- 組織に光を照射する照射部と、
前記光の照射による前記組織から放射される光のうち、1050nm以上1650nm以下の所定波長帯から選択される波長帯の第一光を検出する検出部と、
前記検出部の検出結果をもとに前記組織における乳癌領域を特定する画像を生成する画像生成部と、
を備える撮像装置。 - 前記選択される波長帯は、水分の光学特性又は脂質の光学特性に基づいて選定されている、請求項12に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記検出部は、1050nm以上1650nm以下の所定波長帯から選択される波長帯であって前記第一光とは異なる波長帯の第二光を検出し、
前記画像生成部は、前記第二光を検出した前記検出部の検出結果をもとに前記組織における乳癌領域を特定する画像を生成する、
請求項12または請求項13に記載の撮像装置。 - 前記第一光の波長は、1350nm以上1650nm以下から選定された波長である、請求項12から請求項14のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記第一光は、波長が1400nm、1500nm又は1600nmの光である、請求項12から請求項15のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記第一光は、波長が1070nm又は1300nmの光である、請求項12から請求項14のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記画像生成部は、前記乳癌領域を強調した前記画像を生成する、請求項12から請求項17のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記画像生成部は、コントラストが調整された前記画像を生成する、請求項12から請求項18のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記検出部は、前記所定波長帯から選択される波長帯以外の光を遮光するフィルタを備える、請求項12から請求項19のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置。
- 請求項6から請求項20のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置と、
前記撮像装置により撮像された前記組織を表示する表示装置と、を備える撮像システム。 - 前記組織の可視光画像を検出する第2の撮像装置を備える、請求項21に記載の撮像システム。
- 請求項6から請求項20のいずれか一項に記載の撮像装置と、
前記組織に対する処理が可能な操作デバイスと、を備える手術支援システム。 - コンピュータに、
乳房の組織に赤外光を照射することと、
前記赤外光の照射により前記組織から放射される光のうち、1400nm以上1650nm以下の波長帯から選択される狭波長帯の光を検出することと、
前記検出された前記狭波長帯の光をもとに前記組織における乳癌細胞塊または乳癌組織の存在領域を特定する画像を生成することと、を含む処理の制御を実行させる制御プログラム。 - コンピュータに、
組織に光を照射することと、
前記光の照射による前記組織から放射される光のうち、1050nm以上1650nm以下の所定波長帯から選択される波長帯の第一光を検出することと、
前記検出部の検出結果をもとに前記組織における乳癌領域を特定する画像を生成することと、を含む処理の制御を実行させる制御プログラム。
