Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for detecting a pulling force introduced during insertion of a pipe or a pipe.
- Retraction of a pipe or conduit is usually accomplished by first introducing a pilot bore from a starting point to a target point, in which a drill pipe is propelled by a propulsion device through the earth.
- the drill pipe can be driven in rotation and / or pushing or pulling through the soil. It is also possible to drive by means of a beating device.
- a pipe or conduit may then be connected to the drill string, with the coupling transmitting tensile forces, but not rotation, from the drill string to the pipe or conduit. If the diameter of the pipe or conduit is equal to or less than the diameter of the drill pipe, it is not necessary to widen the pilot hole when retracting the pipe or pipe.
- an expander head shall be used between the drill string and the pipe or pipe coupling to serve the soil and rock around the pilot hole up to the diameter of the spreader head to loosen and remove.
- a rinsing liquid can be supplied to the expansion head, which can have a bentonite suspension with adjustable viscosity. At least part of the thixotropic bentonite suspension typically flows through an annular channel between the flared bore and the pipe or conduit to be recovered and reduces the friction between the wall of the flared bore and the pipe or conduit.
- the detection of the introduced tensile forces on the pipe or the conduit is usually carried out by means arranged on the coupling between the end of the drill pipe and the pipe or the line traction measuring device, wherein the determined tensile force is supplied to a data logger and / or the transfer of data simultaneously Radio waves takes place.
- DE 297 24 364 U1 describes a device for drawing pipes or cables into a pilot bore, in which a coupling is arranged between the pipe or cable to be pulled in, in which a traction measuring device is integrated.
- the permissible tensile forces are dependent on the time and the temperature of the pipe wall of the plastic pipe, for example, to be collected plastic pipes. There is a need to evaluate the quality of the installation and evaluate the quality of the laid pipe already for reasons of warranty. According to the known technical solutions, only the tensile forces introduced in the longitudinal direction are detected at the beginning of the pipe. The consideration of the permissible tensile forces always takes into account the assumption that the pipe wall thickness corresponds to the minimum permissible wall thickness. Since indirect detection is performed, tolerance values are given, which usually results in a much lower pulling force than would be technically possible. This leaves potential untapped, as a higher tractive force could be converted directly into a longer laying distance.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a way to detect the influence of the applied tensile force during retraction to allow for improved laying of a pipe or a pipe.
- the invention is based on the idea to consider an elongation of the recoverable in the soil or old pipe or pipe, since the changes in the pressure-bearing wall of the element to be recovered can be detected and impermissible changes can be detected on the construction site directly when pulling. Since the exact tube configuration is essentially not determined with regard to diameter and wall thickness tolerance, the exact modulus of elasticity is unknown and the wall temperature of the element to be drawn in is initially unknown, the stretching of the tube or line in the axial direction can be safe and simple be determined.
- a detection device can be introduced, which records the elongation in the longitudinal direction at one or more points of the wall of the element to be retracted. With the approach according to the invention, a traction measuring device can be detected directly by means of strain measurement on the element to be retracted.
- the idea underlying the invention is applicable to all trenchless laying method of pipes, especially plastic pipes.
- the pipes can also be metallic.
- the invention provides a method for detecting a tensile force introduced during the retraction of a pipe or a pipe, wherein the elongation of the pipe or the pipe is detected by means of one or more sensors arranged on the pipe or the pipe.
- the consideration of the effect of the forces acting on the element to be recovered is directly detected.
- the actual wall thickness and the wall temperature of the element to be recovered are automatically included in the measurement. For example, too high a tensile force leads to a plastic deformation of the element to be retracted, which can be detected directly by means of a change in the element to be retracted.
- tube in the sense of the invention encompasses any elongated hollow body whose length is generally substantially greater than its diameter.
- a tube in the sense of the invention may in particular have a circular cross-section, whereby also other cross-sectional shapes, for example elliptical or polygonal - are possible in shape.
- the term "pipe” encompasses pipes made of different materials, the material being plastic being preferred According to the invention, the term “pipe” encompasses pipelines which serve, for example, for transporting fluids or pumpable solids, wherein a pipeline also includes fittings, connecting elements and / or Can have seals.
- the term “wire” also includes cables.
- the elongation can be measured optically, electrically or mechanically. Corresponding sensors and measuring devices are possible.
- the stretch can be recorded and / or transferred to another device.
- the other device may in particular be a storage medium or evaluation unit.
- strain sensor in the sense of the invention comprises a strain gauge with which a direct method of measuring an elongation by means of a change in electrical connection values can be used or the line are materially connected.
- the use of strain gauges with multiple gauges allows the simultaneous detection of elongation and circumferential reduction. Another way to detect low elongations over long lengths is to use a fiber Bragg grating.
- strain sensor accordingly also includes a fiber
- optical fibers can be glued, which in turn filter depending on their length a certain wavelength of light, which can be analyzed by optical methods. If the length of the optical fibers is changed due to the elongation, the filtered wavelength of light is changed and is considered as a measure of the present strain. At the same time, the change in the pipe wall temperature can be derived during the laying of the wavelength change and compensated.
- the elongation can be evaluated directly during the retraction of the element to be retracted.
- the elongation can be broken down directly into the elastic and plastic part of the elongation.
- the one or more sensors are attached to the pipe or conduit.
- the strain sensor can be attached to the inner wall of a retractable element, in particular a pipe or a conduit.

- the one or more sensors are attached to a pulling head with which the pipe or pipe is drawn.
- the strain sensor can be attached at one end to the tension head and at the other end to be retracted element, so that a surface connection along the strain sensor with the pipe wall can be omitted. But it is also possible to detect an elongation of the element to be retracted at several points in the longitudinal direction spaced from each other. Abstract
