Abstract

Mobile phones as designed today are not conveniently protected against mechanical shocks or the break of their screens occurring when phones accidentally fall to the ground; mobile phones may also be lost or left accidentally somewhere. In order to avoid those inconveniences a mobile phone can be equipped with some basic accessories that may protect it. A mobile phone can be equipped either with a metal semi-ellipse on its upper ends, or a small metal ring inserted into and protruding outward from the phone chassis or a small metal ring inserted and protruding outward from the ends of the phone chassis. A small chain, made of any kind of metal or other material, can be attached to any of the above mentioned accessories. A small device is attached to the other end of the chain in order to secure the mobile phone to a belt, a belt loop, or the buttonhole of a shirt or jacket. The mobile phone will therefore be safe when being used and will not fall to the ground, even when dropped from user's hands, as it will be suspended mid-air from the user's body; furthermore, thanks to this accessory there is no need for antiaesthetic and bulky phone covers. For women the use of this accessory will be even more comfortable: a safe use of the mobile phone is guaranteed by securing the mobile phone, which is usually carried in the purse and can be attached to a support already present in the purse, to the small chain equipped with a special attachment device on its other end.

DESCRIPTION OF THE UTILITY MODEL "PROTECTED MOBILE PHON E"

TECHNICAL FIELD

The Utility Mode l, hereinafter referred to as "Protected Mobile Phone", is an embodiment of invention whose scope of application rela tes to the safe use and protection of mobile phones against mechanical shocks to its hardware or the loss of the mobile phone.

DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION

The abovementioned utility model comprises a core accessory, consisting of other accessories, coordinated a nd coupled to each other in order to create a monobloc.

Some accessories a re d irectly inserted into the mobile phone, while others allow it to be attached to a fixed support by the means of a metal chain: the fixed support may be a belt, a belt loop or more in general a buttonhole on a jacket or shirt.

The following accessories are inserted into the mobile phone:

1 ) One sma ll metal ring inserted into and protruding outward from the upper right, left or central pa rt of the phone chassis.

2) One small meta l ring attached to the end of a small lever, which is inserted and protruding outward from the mobile phone chassis as described at point 1).

3) One metal semi-ellipse inserted on the upper part of the phone chassis and connecting its ends.

4) One metal semi-ellipse inserted on the ends of the mobile as described at point 3), but provided with a small metal ring placed at its centre.

5) One metal semi-ellipse inserted on the ends of the mobile as described at point 3), but provided with a small metal ring welded on the external central part of the semi-ellipse.

6) A sma ll metal cha in to be connected or tied to any of the sma ll rings abovementioned .

7) Another accessory with different features is attached to the other end of the abovementioned small chain, whose features may vary depending on its function.

The function of the a bovementioned accessories is to connect and tie the small metal chain tightly to a belt, a belt loop, or a buttonhole of a jacket or a shirt.

For women the invention is even easier to use as the mobile phone, which is usually carried in a purse, is tied to any kind of support, created to perform this function and already present in the purse, by the means of the sma ll metal chain, as described above. If no support is present, one can be designed and made to serve the purpose.

BEST MODE FO R CARRYING OUT TH E INVENTION Accessories may be made of different metals, from the less expensive to the most precious in order to reduce costs to the minimum; the small metal chain may be replaced by a small leather lace, or a lanyard made of in te rwoven fabric yarns or pieces.

IN DUSTRIAL APPLICABI LITY

There are no mobile phones equipped with the abovementioned accessories at the present date. The easy-to-use a nd inexpensive Utility Model is very practical and useful because it protects the mobile phone from any risk of accidents when being used.

The utility model can protect the mobile phone from da mages that may be caused by the falling out of the mobile phone under many circumstances: the mobile phone will never fall and experience an uncontrolled impact with the ground as the chain will make it be suspended in mid-air.

The mobile phone hardware will neither be affected by any mechanica l shock, nor its screen will be da maged, which is o ften every expensive to replace; the user will never accidenta lly leave the mobile phone somewhere, thus avoiding losing time to look for the device, or wil l never lose it. The utility model also allow the user to avoid the use of expensive and anaesthetic protective cases.

Claims

CLAIM OF THE UTI LITY MODEL

The Utility Model hereinafter referred to as "Protected Mobile Phone¹¹ is used to protect the mobile phone from damages d ue to accidents occurring d uring actual use.

The abovementioned utility model is a n accessory of the mobile phone, consisting of other accessories, coordinated and coupled to each other in order to create a monobloc, which prevents damages to occur to the mobile phone during its actual use.

Some accessories are directly inserted into the mobile phone chassis a nd a small metal chain helps fix it to an external fixed support that may be a belt, a belt loop, or the buttonholes of a shirt or jacket.

The mobile phone chasses is equipped with the following accessories:

1) One small metal ring inserted into and protruding outward from the upper right, left or central part of the phone chassis.

2) One sma ll meta l ring attached to the end of a small lever, which is inserted and protruding outward from the mobile phone chassis as described at point 1).

3) One meta l semi-ellipse inserted on the upper part of the phone chassis and connecting its ends.

4) One metal sem i-ellipse inserted on the ends of the mobile as described at point 3), but provided with a small metal ring placed at its centre.

6) A small metal chain to be connected or tied to any of the small rings abovementioned.

The function of the a bovementioned accessories is to connect and tie the small chain tightly to a belt, a belt loop, or the buttonhole of a jacket or shirt.

The use of th is accessory allows a safe use of the mobile phone. The mobile phone will not be subject to an uncontrolled impact with the ground or be lost or left somewhere accidenta lly.

If the user accidenta lly drops the mobile phone, the device will ha ng suspended near the user's body and will not have an uncontrolled impact with the ground because it is firm ly tied to a stable support.

The utility model is therefore a useful accessory to protect the mobile phone.

Different materia ls may be used to make the severa l accessories comprising the utility model, from the less expensive to the most precious. The small metal chain, for example, may be replaced by a small leather lace, or a lanyard made of interwoven fabric yarns or pieces.

For women the invention is even easier to use as the mobile phone, which is usually ca rried in a purse, is tied by the mea ns of the small metal cha in to a ny kind of support, already present in the purse to perform this function or created to serve the purpose, as described a bove. Figure 1 attached to the present claim shows an embodiment of the utility model constructed in accordance with the present invention. At the present day, there are no mobile phones equipped with the a bovementioned accessories.
