Abstract

Écosystème flottant destiné au déploiement dans un corps d'eau, l'écosystème comprenant un certain nombre d'éléments allongés qui sont disposés côte à côte et délimitent une ou plusieurs voies de plantation allongées correspondantes entre eux. Ces voies de plantation permettent l'introduction et le maintien de plantes avec des séparations latérales prédéfinies. Les éléments allongés sont avantageusement élastiques et étroitement espacés de manière à offrir un support structural à des plantes introduites dans les voies de plantation. L'écosystème peut également comprendre un matériau ou composant qui est partiellement biodégradable et partiellement durable et/ou non biodégradable ; la partie biodégradable fournit initialement des milieux de plantation naturels pour un établissement de plantes amélioré puis crée un chemin pour l'étalement des racines et la croissance des plantes au fur et à mesure qu'elle se décompose.
