Further, the user can calibrate the sensor 110 from a remote location using the mobile device 130, for example, the user can set a predefined threshold for variation in heart rate, such that when the sensed heart rate varies beyond the threshold, an alert is received in the mobile device 130.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de surveillance de la fréquence cardiaque destiné à des animaux, notamment à des chevaux. Le système comprend un capteur conçu pour être monté sur une jambe du cheval, afin de détecter le rythme cardiaque. Le système comprend en outre une unité d'alarme, positionnée à une distance prédéfinie du cheval, conçue pour recevoir des informations concernant la fréquence cardiaque en provenance du capteur et activer une alarme. L'unité d'alarme est conçue pour communiquer les informations de fréquence cardiaque à un dispositif mobile au niveau d'un emplacement à distance par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau de communication.
