L'invention concerne un module (10, 110, 210, 310) pour des cages d'élevage de volailles, à insérer dans une cage (11, 111, 211, 311) du type qui comprend un fond (12, 112, 212, 312) qui est incliné en direction d'une fente (13, 113, 213, 313) qui est latérale par rapport à la cage (11, 111, 211, 311) pour la sortie d'œufs en direction d'un moyen de collecte d'œufs (14, 114, 214, 314) installé sur la cage (11, 11, 211, 311) de manière à correspondre à la fente (13, 113, 213, 313) ; le module (10, 110, 210, 310) comprend un moyen (16, 116, 216, 316) servant à empêcher la sortie de poussins à travers la fente (13, 113, 213, 313).
