Abstract
L'invention concerne un mélangeur statique (1) destiné à être utilisé dans une installation d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne et pour le mélange d'un additif injecté dans l'installation d'échappement. Le mélangeur (1) est formé à partir d'un boîtier (2) tubulaire s'étendant autour d'un axe médian X. Le boîtier (2) comprend, dans la direction de l'axe médian X, une ouverture d'entrée (31) du côté de l'une de ses extrémités et une ouverture de sortie (32) du côté de l'extrémité opposée, l'ouverture d'entrée (31) servant à recevoir de l'additif injecté dans l'installation d'échappement. Le boîtier (2) est, dans la région de l'ouverture d'entrée (31) et dans la région de l'ouverture de sortie (32), fermé par un bord autour de l'axe médian X dans la direction périphérique. Le mélangeur statique (1) doit générer peu de contre-pression, garantir un traitement rapide et complet de l'agent de réduction et simultanément être insensible aux tolérances de fabrication. À cet effet, le boîtier (2) forme, par rapport à un plan XY orienté parallèlement à l'axe médian X du mélangeur (1) et perpendiculairement à une direction d'écoulement principal S, en amont du plan XY, un segment tubulaire (21) qui comprend plusieurs ouvertures (4) orientées dans la direction radiale par rapport à l'axe médian X en tant que perforations et, en aval du plan XY, un segment tubulaire (22) qui comprend un évidement (5) dans lequel sont disposées plusieurs tôles déflectrices (51).
