- the output speed control unit 141 applies the content to the output buffer unit in the processing unit in which the playback position of the content output from the first processing unit 101 and the second processing unit 102 is advanced from the other.
- a reproduction speed control instruction is issued so that the reproduction position is matched with the data output timing delayed. That is, the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 so that the content playback speed with the advanced playback position is set to a lower playback speed than the normal playback speed.
- the deviation amount detection unit 140 detects that each content playback position is within the allowable range, and notifies the output speed control unit 141 of the information, so that the output speed control unit 141 performs low speed playback.
- the clock generation unit 130 is instructed to return the output buffer unit in the processing unit to normal speed reproduction.
- the content reproduction position (received data output position) from the first processing unit 101 and the content reproduction position (received data output position) from the second processing unit 102 can be matched.
- the first output buffer unit 116 and the second output buffer unit 126 also serve to store received data input at a normal bit rate so as not to be missed during low-speed playback.
- FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing the operation of the output speed control unit 141.
- the reception data from the first processing unit 101 is selected by the output switching unit 144 and is output to the user.
- the first processing unit 101 is a table processing unit.
- received data is output from the first output buffer unit 116 and the second output buffer unit 126 at normal playback speeds.
- the output speed control unit 141 acquires the deviation amount detected by the deviation amount detection unit 140 (S10).
- the output speed control unit 141 determines whether or not the reception data obtained from the first processing unit 101 which is the front system is ahead of the reception data obtained from the second processing unit 102 which is the back system. Judgment is made (S11). For example, the output speed control unit 141 determines whether the shift amount of the received data obtained from the first processing unit 101 is larger than a predetermined threshold value. If the shift amount of the reception data obtained from the first processing unit 101 is larger than a predetermined threshold (Yes in S11), the process proceeds to step S12, and the reception data obtained from the first processing unit 101 is obtained. If the amount of deviation is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold (No in S11), the process proceeds to step S13.
- step S12 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to output the received data from the first output buffer unit 116 at a low speed.
- the speed instructed here is a low speed at which the user does not detect a sense of incongruity.
- the clock generator 130 supplies a predetermined low-speed clock to the first output buffer unit 116 instead of a normal clock. Then, the process returns to step S10.
- step S13 the output speed control unit 141 determines whether or not the reception data obtained from the second processing unit 102 that is the back system is ahead of the reception data obtained from the first processing unit 101 that is the front system. Judging. For example, the output speed control unit 141 determines whether or not the shift amount of the received data obtained from the second processing unit 102 is larger than a predetermined threshold value. If the amount of deviation of the received data obtained from the second processing unit 102 is larger than a predetermined threshold (Yes in S13), the process proceeds to step S14, and the received data obtained from the second processing unit 102 If the amount of deviation is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold (No in S13), the process proceeds to step S15.
- step S14 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to temporarily stop the output of the received data from the second output buffer unit 126.
- the reason for instructing the pause instead of the low speed reproduction is that the received data from the second processing unit 102 is not selected by the output switching unit 144 and is not output to the user. In other words, because it is a back system, the user will not perceive a sense of discomfort even if playback is paused. Furthermore, the two content playback positions can be adjusted more quickly by pausing. Receiving such an instruction, the clock generation unit 130 provides the second output buffer unit 126 with a clock for temporarily stopping output, instead of the normal clock. Then, the process returns to step S10.
- step S15 the output speed control unit 141 determines whether or not the output of the reception data from the first output buffer unit 116 is a normal speed. If it is not a normal speed (No in S15), the process proceeds to step S16, and if it is a normal speed (Yes in S15), the process proceeds to step S17.
- step S ⁇ b> 16 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to set the reception data output from the first output buffer unit 116 to the normal speed. Receiving such an instruction, the clock generation unit 130 supplies a normal clock to the first output buffer unit 116. Then, the process returns to step S10.
- step S17 the output speed control unit 141 determines whether or not the output of the reception data from the second output buffer unit 126 is a normal speed. If it is not the normal speed (No in S17), the process proceeds to step S18. If it is the normal speed (Yes in S17), the process returns to step S10.
- step S18 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to set the reception data output from the second output buffer unit 126 to the normal speed. In response to such an instruction, the clock generation unit 130 supplies a normal clock to the second output buffer unit 126. Then, the process returns to step S10.
- the output from the second output buffer unit 126 is temporarily stopped in step S14, but the present invention is not limited to such an example.
- any speed may be used as long as the output from the second output buffer unit 126 is lower than the normal speed. Even in such a case, for example, it is desirable that the speed is lower than the low speed in the first output buffer unit 116 that is a table system in step S16.
- step S11 the output speed control unit 141 evaluates whether or not the advance amount is larger than a threshold value.
- step S11 it is determined in step S11 that the advance amount of the reception data (output content) from the first processing unit 101 is larger than the threshold value, and the process proceeds to step S12.
- step S ⁇ b> 12 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to reduce the output of received data (content reproduction) from the first output buffer unit 116.
- step S11 the determination in step S11 is No, and the process proceeds to step S13.
- step S13 since the output from the second processing unit 102 is behind the first processing unit 101, it is determined that the advance amount is not larger than the threshold (No in S13), and the process proceeds to step S15. .
- step S15 since the first output buffer unit 116 is performing low speed reproduction, the output speed control unit 141 determines No, and the process proceeds to step S16.
- step S16 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to set the reception data output (content reproduction) from the first output buffer unit 116 to the normal speed.
- step S11 since the reception data (reproduction output) from the first processing unit 101 is delayed from the output from the second processing unit 102, the advance amount is smaller than the threshold value. For this reason, the output speed control unit 141 determines No, and the process proceeds to step S13.
- step S13 the output speed control unit 141 determines whether the reception data (reproduction output) from the second processing unit 102 is ahead of the threshold value. If it is ahead of the threshold, the output speed control unit 141 determines Yes, and the process proceeds to step S14.
- step S ⁇ b> 14 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to temporarily stop the output from the second output buffer unit 126.
- step S13 since the output from the second processing unit 102 is behind the first processing unit 101, the output speed control unit 141 determines that the advance amount is not larger than the threshold (No in S13).
- step S15 since the first output buffer unit 116 is reproducing at normal speed (Yes in S15), the process proceeds to step S17.
- step S17 since the second output buffer unit 126 is performing low speed reproduction (pause) (No in S17), the process proceeds to step S18.
- step S18 the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to set the reception data output from the second output buffer unit 126 to the normal speed.
- FIG. 10A shows the reception data output from the first output buffer unit 116
- FIG. 10B shows the reception data output from the second output buffer unit 126.
- the received data D4 output from the first output buffer unit 116 is the received data D4 of the same scene from the second output buffer unit 126.
- the output timing of three data is advanced.
- one square of the received data in FIG. 10 indicates, for example, one sample of PCM data.
- the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to perform the low speed reproduction of the first output buffer unit 116 that is being reproduced.
- the reception data D8 to D13 output from the first output buffer unit 116 are output (reproduced) at a lower speed than usual.
- the reception data D13 is output from the first output buffer unit 116
- the reception data D13 is output from the second output buffer unit 126 as shown in FIG. The position is aligned. Therefore, the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to reproduce the normal speed of the first output buffer unit 116. Thereafter, even if the reception situation deteriorates and the output switching control unit 143 switches the output to the back system, there is no deviation of each received data, so that seamless switching without a break in reproduction can be realized.
- FIG. 11A shows reception data output from the first output buffer unit 116
- FIG. 11B shows reception data output from the second output buffer unit 126.
- the reception data D4 output from the second output buffer unit 126 is the reception data D4 of the same scene from the first output buffer unit 116.
- the output timing of three data is advanced.
- the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to pause playback of the second output buffer unit 126 that is being played back.
- the output of the reception data D7 output from the second output buffer unit 126 is temporarily stopped.
- the output speed control unit 141 instructs the clock generation unit 130 to reproduce the normal speed of the second output buffer unit 126. Thereafter, even if the reception situation deteriorates and the output switching control unit 143 switches the output to the back system, there is no deviation of each received data, so that seamless switching without a break in reproduction can be realized.
- the playback positions of the back system can be paused, so that the playback positions of the back systems can be matched more quickly. Further, since the playback speed is adjusted only for the back system, the user can be controlled without giving a sense of incongruity accompanying the playback position adjustment.
- FIG. 12 is a flowchart illustrating operations of the reception operation instruction unit 145 and the reception status monitoring unit 142.
- the reception operation instruction unit 145 confirms whether or not the back system is performing a back scan (S20). If the back system is in the back scan (Yes in S20), the process proceeds to step S21. If the back system is not in the back scan (No in S20), the process proceeds to step S24.
- step S21 the reception status monitoring unit 142 determines whether or not the reception status of the table system has deteriorated. If it is determined that the reception status of the front system has deteriorated (Yes in S21), the process proceeds to step S22.
- step S22 the reception operation instruction unit 145 notifies the back system processing units 101 and 102 to stop the back scan. Further, the reception operation instruction unit 145 notifies the back system processing units 101 and 102 of an instruction to select the same content as the content received in the front system and start decoding. This is for starting preparation for a state in which seamless switching is possible in case the reception status of the front system further deteriorates.
- step S24 the reception operation instruction unit 145 determines whether the back system is decoding the same content as the front system. If the reverse decoding is being performed (Yes in S24), the process proceeds to step S25. If the reverse decoding is not being performed (No in S24), the process proceeds to step S27. In addition, back decoding shall show decoding in background.
- step S25 the reception status monitoring unit 142 determines whether the reception status of the back system that is back-decoded has deteriorated. If it is determined that the reception status of the back system has deteriorated (Yes in S25), the process proceeds to step S26, and if it is determined that the reception status of the back system has not deteriorated (No in S25), the processing is performed. Returns to step S20.
- step S28 the reception operation instruction unit 145 notifies the back system processing units 101 and 102 of this service channel selection and back decoding start instruction.
- step S29 the reception operation instruction unit 145 notifies the back system processing units 101 and 102 of an instruction to start the back scan. Then, the reception operation instruction unit 145 performs monitoring until another channel in the same content broadcast is detected by the back scan started in step S29 (S30). If the same content is detected (S30), the process proceeds to step S22.
- the reception operation instruction unit 145 is identical to the processing units 101 and 102 in the back system. Since it is instructed to start the output processing of the content broadcasting service, the system load can be suppressed compared to the case where the back decoding of the same content is always continued.
- reverse decoding can be started when necessary, and a service list can be generated by reverse scanning during the period when reverse decoding is not performed, and further processing such as confirmation of the existence of the same content can be performed.
- the resources of the back system can be used effectively.
- the reception operation instruction unit 145 selects the channel in the back system. Further, when there is no other broadcast service that broadcasts the same content, the reception operation instruction unit 145 instructs the back system processing units 101 and 102 to perform channel scanning. When it occurs, it is possible to select the same content of the back scan and other channels, and the resources of the back system can be used effectively.

Thereby, the output location fine adjustment unit 246 acquires the shift amount at that time from the shift amount detection unit 240, and shifts the output address position of the output buffer unit of the back system that is not output to the user at that time. Output by shifting by the amount. For this reason, it is possible to completely match the output positions of the received data from both output buffer units.
- step S30 by reducing the reproduction speed of the first processing unit 201 in step S30, the reproduction positions of the first processing unit 201 and the second processing unit 202 are separated in time.
- step S31 since it is always determined No, a detection timeout check is performed in step S34. In such a case, steps S31 and S34 are repeated until a detection timeout occurs.
- step S34 When a detection timeout occurs in step S34 (Yes in S34), the output speed control unit 241 issues a normal output instruction of the first processing unit 201 in step S35. As a result, the playback speed of the content output from the first output buffer unit 216 returns to normal. Next, the output speed control unit 241 instructs the second processing unit 202 to output a low speed. As a result, the playback speed of the content output from the second output buffer unit 226 is slightly slowed down. Then, the amount of deviation between the contents of the first processing unit 201 and the second processing unit 202 becomes smaller.
- step S37 the deviation amount detection unit 240 detects the same data string in both buffers (Yes in S37), and the process proceeds to step S38.
- step S ⁇ b> 38 the output speed control unit 241 issues a normal speed output instruction in the first processing unit 201 and the second processing unit 202. Then, the process proceeds to step S33, and the output speed control unit 241 notifies the output location fine adjustment unit 246 of the completion of the speed adjustment.
- the output location fine adjustment unit 246 obtains the deviation amount at that time from the deviation amount detection unit 240, and the output address position of the output buffer unit not output to the user at that time is the deviation amount. Just shift and output. For this reason, the received data from both output buffer units can be completely matched.
- step S30 and step S36 when the control target is a table system outputting to the user, the user does not feel uncomfortable. Perform low-speed output control. In the case of a back system that is not outputting to the user, the degree of low-speed output may be made slower. Thus, the same data string can be detected in a short time, and the time required for matching the output position can be shortened.

Abstract
