Abstract

The invention relates to a body structure for a motor vehicle having a passenger compartment, comprising a floor structure which forms the floor region of the passenger compartment, and support structures of the passenger compartment, which are arranged above the floor structure and provide defined load paths for crash situations, wherein the floor structure is made of fiber-reinforced plastic, in particular carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and the support structures are made of steel.
