像素驱动电路及驱动方法、移位寄存器、显示面板和装置
相关申请的交叉引用
本申请主张在2015年4月21日在中国提交的中国专利申请号No.201510190626.8的优先权,其全部内容通过引用包含于此。
技术领域
本公开涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种像素驱动电路及驱动方法、移位寄存器、显示面板和装置。
背景技术
有机发光二极管(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,OLED)为自发光材料,其优点例如有不需用到背光板,同时视角广、画质均匀、反应速度快、较易彩色化、用简单驱动电路即可达到发光、制程简单、可制作成挠曲式面板,符合轻薄短小的原则,因此OLED的应用范围涵盖各尺寸面板。
OLED的寿命一直是各大厂商关注的重点,OLED本身在发光过程中会发生老化,导致亮度降低,其中老化机理有OLED器件中的缺陷、OLED自身材料劣化等多种,在实验中发现OLED发光后,再次加载反向压差,可以起到延长OLED寿命的效果。现有的有源矩阵有机发光二极管(Active-matrix organic light emitting diode,AMOLED)像素驱动电路设计中,少有针对OLED器件本身老化进行优化的像素驱动电路。
发明内容
本公开的主要目的在于提供一种像素驱动电路及驱动方法、移位寄存器、显示面板和装置,以解决相关技术中不存在针对OLED器件本身老化进行优化的像素驱动电路、从而导致OLED器件寿命短的问题。
为了达到上述目的,本公开提供了一种像素驱动电路,用于驱动有机发光二极管(OLED),包括驱动晶体管、存储电容和数据写入单元;其中所述驱动晶体管的栅极通过所述数据写入单元接入数据电压,所述驱动晶体管的 第一极与所述OLED的阴极连接,并且所述驱动晶体管的第二极接地;所述存储电容连接于所述驱动晶体管的栅极与所述驱动晶体管的第一极之间;所述OLED的阳极接入驱动电压;所述数据写入单元接入第n行扫描信号,用于在所述第n行扫描信号有效时将所述数据电压写入所述驱动晶体管的栅极;
所述像素驱动电路还包括:
反向控制单元,接入第n-2行扫描信号,并与所述OLED的阴极连接,用于在所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制所述OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整数。
实施时,所述反向控制单元包括:反向控制晶体管,其中所述反向控制晶体管的栅极和第一极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号,并且所述反向控制晶体管的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接。
实施时,本公开所述的像素驱动电路还包括:
关断控制单元,接入第n-1行扫描信号,并分别与所述OLED的阳极和所述OLED的阴极连接,用于在所述第n-1行扫描信号有效时控制导通所述OLED的阳极与所述OLED的阴极之间的连接。
实施时,所述关断控制单元包括:
关断控制晶体管,其中所述关断控制晶体管的栅极接入所述第n-1行扫描信号,所述关断控制晶体管的第一极与所述OLED的阳极连接,并且所述关断控制晶体管的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接。
实施时,所述数据写入单元包括:
数据写入晶体管,其中所述数据写入晶体管的栅极接入第n行扫描信号,所述数据写入晶体管的第一极接入数据电压,并且所述数据写入晶体管的第二极与所述驱动晶体管的栅极连接。
本公开还提供了一种像素驱动电路的驱动方法,用于驱动上述的像素驱动电路,所述驱动方法包括:
当所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整 数;以及
当所述第n行扫描信号有效时,数据写入单元控制将数据电压写入驱动晶体管的栅极。
实施时,本公开所述的驱动方法还包括:
当第n-1行扫描信号有效时,关断控制单元控制导通所述OLED的阳极与所述OLED的阴极之间的连接。
本公开还提供了一种移位寄存器,包括N级上述的像素驱动电路,N为大于2的整数;
第n级像素驱动电路分别接入第n行扫描信号和第n-2行扫描信号,n为大于2而小于或等于N的整数。
实施时,第n级像素驱动电路还接入第n-1行扫描信号。
本公开还提供了一种显示面板,包括上述的移位寄存器。
本公开还提供了一种显示装置,包括上述的显示面板。
与相关技术相比,本公开所述的像素驱动电路及驱动方法、移位寄存器、显示面板和装置,在一帧画面显示的最后时刻在OLED两端加载反向压差,可以防止OLED器件的老化,起到延长OLED寿命的效果。

为使本公开文本的实施例的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚,下面将结合本公开文本的实施例的附图,对本公开文本的实施例的技术方案进行清楚、完整地描述。显然,所描述的实施例是本公开文本的一部分实施例,而不是全部的实施例。基于所描述的本公开文本的实 施例,本领域普通技术人员所获得的所有其他实施例,都属于本公开文本保护的范围。
除非另作定义,此处使用的技术术语或者科学术语应当为本公开文本所属领域内具有一般技能的人士所理解的通常意义。本公开文本专利申请说明书以及权利要求书中使用的“第一”、“第二”以及类似的词语并不表示任何顺序、数量或者重要性,而只是用来区分不同的组成部分。同样,“一个”或者“一”等类似词语也不表示数量限制,而是表示存在至少一个。“连接”或者“相连”等类似的词语并非限定于物理的或者机械的连接,而是可以包括电性的连接,不管是直接的还是间接的。“上”、“下”、“左”、“右”等仅用于表示相对位置关系,当被描述对象的绝对位置改变后,则该相对位置关系也相应地改变。
本公开本公开本公开本公开本公开本公开所有实施例中采用的晶体管均可以为薄膜晶体管或场效应管或其他特性相同的器件。在本公开实施例中,为区分晶体管除栅极之外的两极,将其中的一极称为第一极,并且将另一极称为第二极,其中第一极可以为源极或漏极,并且相应地第二极可以为漏极或源极。此外,按照晶体管的特性区分可以将晶体管分为n型晶体管或p型晶体管。在本公开实施例提供的驱动电路中,所有晶体管均是以n型晶体管为例进行的说明的,但可以理解的是,在采用p型晶体管实现时是本领域技术人员可在没有做出创造性劳动前提下轻易想到的,因此也是在本公开的实施例保护范围内的。
如图1所示,本公开实施例所述的像素驱动电路,用于驱动发光二极管OLED,包括驱动晶体管M1、存储电容Cs和数据写入单元10;
对于所述驱动晶体管M1,其栅极通过所述数据写入单元10接入数据电压Vdata,其第一极与所述OLED的阴极连接,并且其第二极与地端GND连接;
所述存储电容Cs连接于所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极与所述驱动晶体管M1的第一极之间;
所述OLED的阳极接入驱动电压Vdd;
所述数据写入单元10接入第n行扫描信号Vscan(n),用于在所述第n 行扫描信号Vscan(n)有效时将所述数据电压Vdata写入所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极;
所述像素驱动电路还包括:
反向控制单元11,接入第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2),并与所述OLED的阴极连接,用于在所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)有效时,控制所述OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2),使得所述OLED两端加载反向压差;所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)的电压大于所述驱动电压Vdd,n为大于2的整数。
在如图1所示的像素驱动电路的实施例中,所述驱动晶体管M1为n型薄膜晶体管(Thin Film Transistor,TFT),在实际操作时,所述驱动晶体管M1也可以替换为p型TFT,晶体管的类型更换为本领域技术人员所公知,在此不再赘述。
本公开如图1所示的实施例所述的像素驱动电路通过采用反向控制单元,以控制在一帧画面显示的最后时刻在OLED两端加载反向压差,同时OLED关断不发光,可以在利用现有的扫描信号、无需增加新的控制信号的前提下对OLED器件本身的老化进行优化,延缓OLED亮度衰减,起到延长OLED寿命的效果。
具体地,如图2所示,所述反向控制单元11可以包括:反向控制晶体管M2,其中所述反向控制晶体管M2的栅极和第一极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2),并且所述反向控制晶体管M2的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接;
在如图2所示的实施例中,所述反向控制晶体管M2为n型TFT,在实际操作时,所述反向控制晶体管M2也可以替换为p型TFT,只需相应的第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)的极性变化即可,晶体管的类型更换为本领域技术人员所公知,在此不再赘述;
当所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)有效时,即所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)为高电平时,所述反向控制晶体管M2导通,使得所述OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2),由于所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2)的电压大于所述驱动电压Vdd,所以此时所述OLED两端加载 反向压差,同时OLED关断不发光,以对OLED的老化进行优化,延缓OLED亮度衰减,延长OLED的寿命。
在具体实施时,如图3所示,所述数据写入单元10可以包括数据写入晶体管M3;
对于所述数据写入晶体管M3,其栅极接入第n行扫描信号Vscan(n),其第一极接入数据电压Vdata,并且其第二极与所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极连接;
在如图3所示的像素驱动电路的实施例中,所述数据写入晶体管M3为n型TFT,在实际操作时,所述反向控制晶体管M2也可以替换为p型TFT,只需相应的第n行扫描信号Vscan(n)的极性变化即可,晶体管的类型更换为本领域技术人员所公知,在此不再赘述;
当第n行扫描信号Vscan(n)有效时,即当第n行扫描信号Vscan(n)为高电平时,所述数据写入晶体管M3导通,并且数据电压Vdata写入驱动晶体管M1的栅极。
可选地,如图4所示,本公开所述的像素驱动电路还包括:
关断控制单元12,接入第n-1行扫描信号Vscan(n-1),并分别与OLED的阳极和OLED的阴极连接,用于在第n-1行扫描信号Vscan(n-1)有效时控制导通OLED的阳极与OLED的阴极之间的连接,以控制OLED两端电平变为相同,OLED关断不发光,不影响Vscan(n)控制数据写入单元10将Vdata写入所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极。
具体地,所述关断控制单元可以包括:
关断控制晶体管,其中所述关断控制晶体管的栅极接入所述第n-1行扫描信号,所述关断控制晶体管的第一极与所述OLED的阳极连接,并且所述关断控制晶体管的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接。
下面根据一具体实施例来说明本公开所述的像素驱动电路:
如图5所示,本公开一具体实施例所述的像素驱动电路包括驱动晶体管M1、存储电容Cs、反向控制晶体管M2、数据写入晶体M3以及关断控制晶体管M4,其中,
对于所述驱动晶体管M1,其栅极通过所述数据写入单元10接入数据电 压Vdata,其第一极与所述OLED的阴极连接,并且其第二极与地端GND连接;
所述存储电容Cs连接于所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极与所述驱动晶体管M1的第一极之间;
所述OLED的阳极接入驱动电压Vdd;
对于所述反向控制晶体管M2,其栅极和第一极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号Vscan(n-2),并且其第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接;
对于所述数据写入晶体管M3,其栅极接入第n行扫描信号Vscan(n),其第一极接入数据电压Vdata,并且其第二极与所述驱动晶体管M1的栅极连接;
对于所述关断控制晶体管M4,其栅极接入所述第n-1行扫描信号Vscan(n-1),其第一极与所述OLED的阳极连接,并且其第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接;
所述驱动晶体管M1、所述反向控制晶体管M2、所述数据写入晶体管M3和所述关断控制晶体管M4都为n型TFT。
本公开该具体实施例所述的像素驱动电路在工作时,在一帧画面的最后阶段(即下一次OLED发光之前)引入Vscan(n-2)将所述反向控制晶体管M2打开,使得OLED两端加载了反向压差,同时OLED关断不发光,消除OLED加载正向压差时引起的缺陷,达成延长OLED寿命的作用,随后引入Vscan(n-1),所述关断控制晶体管M4打开而所述反向控制晶体管M2关断,OLED两端电位相同,OLED关断不发光,不影响该行Vscan(n)打开所述数据写入晶体管M3引入的Vdata,由于扫描信号的高电平时间很短,小于人眼的分辨时间,不会影响AMOLED显示面板的显示效果。
本公开实施例所述的像素驱动电路的驱动方法,用于驱动上述的像素驱动电路,所述驱动方法包括:
当所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整数;
当所述第n行扫描信号有效时,数据电压写入单元控制将数据电压写入 驱动晶体管的栅极。
具体地,本公开所述的驱动方法还包括:
当第n-1行扫描信号有效时,关断控制单元控制导通所述OLED的阳极与所述OLED的阴极之间的连接。
本公开实施例所述的移位寄存器,包括N级上述的像素驱动电路,N为大于2的整数;
第n级像素驱动电路分别接入第n行扫描信号和第n-2行扫描信号,n为大于2而小于或等于N的整数。
具体地,第n级像素驱动电路还接入第n-1行扫描信号。
本公开实施例所述的显示面板,包括上述的移位寄存器。
本公开实施例所述的显示装置,包括上述的显示面板。
所述显示装置例如可以为:电子纸、OLED显示装置、手机、平板电脑、电视机、显示器、笔记本电脑、数码相框、导航仪等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。

Claims (12)

  1. 一种像素驱动电路,用于驱动有机发光二极管(OLED),所述像素驱动电路包括驱动晶体管、存储电容和数据写入单元;其中所述驱动晶体管的栅极通过所述数据写入单元接入数据电压,所述驱动晶体管的第一极与所述OLED的阴极连接,并且所述驱动晶体管的第二极接地;所述存储电容连接于所述驱动晶体管的栅极与所述驱动晶体管的第一极之间;所述OLED的阳极接入驱动电压;所述数据写入单元接入第n行扫描信号,用于在所述第n行扫描信号有效时将所述数据电压写入所述驱动晶体管的栅极;其中,所述像素驱动电路还包括:
    反向控制单元,接入第n-2行扫描信号,并与所述OLED的阴极连接,用于在所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制所述OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整数。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其中,所述反向控制单元包括:反向控制晶体管,其中所述反向控制晶体管的栅极和第一极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号,并且所述反向控制晶体管的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接。
  3. 如权利要求1或2所述的像素驱动电路,还包括:
    关断控制单元,接入第n-1行扫描信号,并分别与所述OLED的阳极和所述OLED的阴极连接,用于在所述第n-1行扫描信号有效时控制导通所述OLED的阳极与所述OLED的阴极之间的连接。
  4. 如权利要求3所述的像素驱动电路,其中,所述关断控制单元包括:
    关断控制晶体管,其中所述关断控制晶体管的栅极接入所述第n-1行扫描信号,所述关断控制晶体管的第一极与所述OLED的阳极连接,并且所述关断控制晶体管的第二极与所述OLED的阴极连接。
  5. 如权利要求1-4中任一权利要求所述的像素驱动电路,其中,所述数据写入单元包括:
    数据写入晶体管,其中所述数据写入晶体管的栅极接入第n行扫描信号,所述数据写入晶体管的第一极接入数据电压,并且所述数据写入晶体管的第 二极与所述驱动晶体管的栅极连接。
  6. 一种像素驱动电路的驱动方法,用于驱动如权利要求1或2所述的像素驱动电路,所述驱动方法包括:
    当所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整数;以及
    当所述第n行扫描信号有效时,数据写入单元控制将数据电压写入驱动晶体管的栅极。
  7. 一种像素驱动电路的驱动方法,用于驱动如权利要求3-5中任一权利要求所述的像素驱动电路,所述驱动方法包括:
    当所述第n-2行扫描信号有效时,控制OLED的阴极接入所述第n-2行扫描信号;所述第n-2行扫描信号的电压大于所述驱动电压,n为大于2的整数;以及
    当所述第n行扫描信号有效时,数据写入单元控制将数据电压写入驱动晶体管的栅极。
  8. 如权利要求7所述的驱动方法,还包括:
    当第n-1行扫描信号有效时,关断控制单元控制导通所述OLED的阳极与所述OLED的阴极之间的连接。
  9. 一种移位寄存器,包括N级如权利要求1至5中任一权利要求所述的像素驱动电路,N为大于2的整数;
    第n级像素驱动电路分别接入第n行扫描信号和第n-2行扫描信号,n为大于2而小于或等于N的整数。
  10. 如权利要求9所述的移位寄存器,其中,第n级像素驱动电路还接入第n-1行扫描信号。
  11. 一种显示面板,包括如权利要求9或10所述的移位寄存器。
  12. 一种显示装置,包括如权利要求11所述的显示面板。
