  • Speech valves are known from the prior art. These are attached, for example, to a tracheostoma cannula or a tracheostoma patches so that people without vocal cords can speak by means of a voice prosthesis. By actuating the speaking valve, air is passed through a voice prosthesis located in a fistula between the trachea and the esophagus. Even though the vocal cords are still present, it is necessary that the air does not escape from the tracheostomy tube before it reaches the vocal cords.
  • WO 95/17138 A1 proposes to combine the speaking valve with an artificial nose.
  • This artificial nose is a filter that absorbs the moisture and heat of the exhaled air and moistens and heats the air flowing into the tracheostomy tube.
  • EP 1 077 658 B1 describes a tuning valve with a filter, wherein the tuning valve has an elastic housing or elastic valve element and the housing or valve element can be deformed for example by means of finger pressure such that a housing part for resting on a particular by a tracheal cannula or a Tracheostomapflaster formed valve seat comes and the valve is closed with it.
