Description

휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치
본 발명은 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 애완견과 같은 반려동물의 위급 상황시에 반려동물의 심폐가 소생되도록 할 수 있는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치에 관한 것이다.
최근 들어 애완견과 같은 반려동물을 키우는 인구가 증가하면서 반려동물 관련 산업이 성장하고 있는 추세이다.
한편, 외국의 경우에는 반려동물이 의식을 잃는 위급 상황이 발생되면 소방대원이나 반려동물의 주인이 반려동물에게 인공호흡을 진행하여 심폐를 소생시키는 사례가 보도되고 있다.
이러한 반려동물 인공호흡장치의 일예가 대한민국 공개특허 제10-2015-0021248호(2015년03월02일자 공개, 이하 '특허문헌 1'이라 함) 등에 개시되어 있다.
그런데 종래기술에 따른 반려동물 인공호흡장치는 그 구조가 복잡하고 비용 또한 고가이기 때문에 널리 보급되고 있지 못하고, 함께 연결 구비되는 산소탱크의 무게와 부피로 인하여 반려동물과 함께 외출시 손쉽게 휴대하고 다니지 못한다는 문제점이 있다.
아울러, 의식을 잃었다가 인공호흡에 의해 깨어난 반려동물은 인공호흡을 실행하던 사람을 공격할 수 있다는 문제가 있다.
따라서 본 발명은 의식을 잃었다가 깨어난 반려동물이 인공호흡을 실행하던 사람을 공격하는 상황이 발생하지 않도록 반려동물의 입에 사람의 입을 직접 맞대지 않고도 안전하게 인공호흡을 실행할 수 있는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
또한 본 발명은 사람이 숨을 내쉬는 동작만으로도 반려동물에게 원활하게 공기를 주입할 수 있는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 제공하는 것이다.
그리고 본 발명은 저렴한 비용과 간단한 구조로 제작되어 용이하게 사용할 수 있으며, 분해와 조립 및 휴대가 간편해질 수 있는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 제공하는 것이다.

호흡 주입부(20)는, 도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 마스크부(10)에 결합시 마스크부(10)의 외측에 배치되게 구비된 외측 관로(21)와, 마스크부(10)에 결합시 마스크부(10)의 내측에 배치되어 마스크부(10)에 의해 감싸지도록 구비되며 단부가 반려동물의 구강 내로 삽입되도록 구비된 내측 관로(23)와, 마스크부(10)에 결합시 노즈 개구(13)에 연통되게 구비된 노즈 관로(25)를 포함한다.
이에 따라, 반려동물이 위급한 상황에 놓이게 되면 마스크부(10)로 반려동물의 입과 코를 감싼 후 호흡 주입부(20)를 마스크부(10)에 결합하여 외측 관로(21)의 단부를 통해 호흡을 주입하면 외측 관로(21)로부터 내측 관로(23)를 통해서는 반려동물의 구강 내로 공기가 들어가고 외측 관로(21)로부터 노즈 관로(25)를 통해서는 반려동물의 코로 공기가 들어가 폐로 유입되도록 함으로써, 사람이 숨을 내쉬는 동작만으로도 반려동물에게 원활하게 공기가 공급되어 심폐 기능이 소생되도록 할 수 있다. 여기서 내측 관로(23)는 반려동물의 입이 닿는 부분에 선택적으로 결합되도록 구비될 수도 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예로서, 호흡 주입부(20)는 노즈 관로(25)를 포함하는 것으로 설명하지만, 본 발명의 또다른 실시예로서, 노즈 관로(25) 없이 외측 관로(21)와 내측 관로(23)만으로 호흡 주입부(20)가 마련될 수도 있다.
그리고 본 발명에 따른 호흡 주입부(20)는 사람의 호흡이 주입되지 않는 경우 산소통에 연결되는 호스가 결합되어 반려동물에게 산소가 주입되도록 하는 것도 가능하다.
본 발명에 따른 마스크부(10)는, 도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 반려동물의 얼굴 부위에 접촉되는 후방 단부에서 전방 단부를 향해서 내부 공간이 점차 축소되도록 경사지게 구비되고, 호흡 주입부(20)의 외측 관로(21)는 내측 관로(23)가 마우스 개구(11)를 통해 마스크부(10)에 결합시 마스크부(10)의 전방 단부에 접촉되는 전방 단부로부터 인공호흡을 수행하는 사람의 구강 내로 삽입되는 후방 단부를 향해서 내부 공간이 점차 축소되도록 경사지게 구비된 것이 바람직하다.
한편, 도 4a는 본 발명의 다른 실시예에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 이용하여 인공호흡을 수행할 때에 사람이 숨을 내쉬어 반려동물에게 호흡이 주입되도록 하는 상태를 나타낸 도면이고, 도 4b는 반려동물이 숨을 내쉴 때에 공기의 흐름이 사람에게 역으로 흐르는 것을 차단한 상태를 나타낸 도면이다.
본 발명의 또다른 실시예로서, 도 4a 및 도 4b에 도시된 바와 같이 마스크부(10)에는, 마스크부(10)로부터 호흡 주입부(20)로 공기 흐름이 발생되면 마스크부(10)의 일측에 형성된 배기구(15)가 외부를 향해 개방되도록 하는 배기 밸브(15a)가 구비될 수 있다.
이에 따라, 본 발명에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 이용하여 반려동물에게 인공호흡을 행할 때에 반려동물이 내쉬는 숨이 배기 밸브(15a)의 개방을 통해 바이패스되어 외부로 배출되도록 함으로써 인공호흡을 수행하는 사람이 반려동물이 보유하고 있을지도 모르는 세균 및 바이러스에 감염될 위험으로부터 안전하게 보호되도록 할 수 있다.
한편, 마스크부(10)에는 외측 관로(21)로부터 노즈 관로(25)로 호흡이 주입되면 노즈 개구(13)가 개방되도록 하고 호흡이 역행되면 노즈 개구(13)가 폐쇄되도록 하는 노즈 밸브가 더 구비되도록 할 수도 있다. 이에 따라, 노즈 밸브의 폐쇄에 의해 사람에게 유입되는 것을 차단하도록 할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 배기구(15)와 배기 밸브(15a)는 반려동물이 내쉬는 숨이 주로 코를 통해 이루어지는 점을 고려하여 마스크부(10)에서 노즈 개구(13)에 가까운 위치에 마련된 것이 바람직하다. 도 4a 및 도 4b에 도시된 바에 의하면, 배기구(15) 및 배기 밸브(15a)는 반려동물에게 마스크부(10)를 착용시킬 때에 반려동물의 코가 위치하는 부분의 상부, 즉 마스크부(10)의 전방 단부에 인접한 상부에 마련된 것으로 설명하지만, 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이 마스크부(10)의 전방 단부에서 노즈 개구(13)를 사이에 두고 양측에 한 쌍으로 마련되도록 할 수도 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 또다른 실시예로서, 도 4a 및 도 4b에 도시된 바와 같이, 외측 관로(21)와 내측 관로(23)의 사이에는 외측 관로(21)로부터 내측 관로(23)를 통해 마스크부(10)로 호흡이 주입되면 개방되고 호흡이 역행되면 폐쇄되는 마우스 밸브(21a)가 더 구비되도록 할 수도 있다.
이에 따라, 본 발명에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 이용하여 반려동물에게 인공호흡을 행할 때 마우스밸브(21a)가 개방되고, 반려동물이 내쉬는 숨에 의해 배기밸브(15a)가 개방되어 동물의 숨이 외부로 배출됨과 동시에 마우스밸브(21a)는 폐쇄되도록 함으로써, 반려동물이 보유하고 있을지도 모르는 세균 및 바이러스가 인공호흡을 수행하는 사람의 입으로 들어갈 위험을 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예로서, 배기 밸브(15a) 및 마우스 밸브(21a)는 고무나 폴리머와 같은 탄성 재질로 된 판막 형태로 마련되어 일측은 고정되고 타측은 자유 단부로 된 것이 바람직하다.
한편, 본 발명의 또다른 실시예로서, 도 7에 도시된 바와 같이 마스크부(10) 및 호흡 주입부(20) 중 적어도 어느 하나에는 반려동물 리드 수단(1)에 연결되는 연결 고리(17)가 구비될 수 있다.
이에 따라, 반려동물의 보호자가 반려동물 리드 수단(1)과 함께 본 발명에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 항상 편리하게 휴대하고 다니다가 응급상황 시에 반려동물에 대한 응급조치를 신속하게 취하도록 할 수 있다.
도 8은 본 발명의 제4실시예에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 도시한 사시도이다. 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 제4실시예에 따른 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치는 호흡 주입부(20)의 외측에 삽입부(27)가 후크 방식에 의해 추가로 삽입되어 슬라이드 방식으로 호각(W)이 결합될 수 있다. 이로써, 반려동물의 위급 상황시에 이를 신속하게 외부로 알리도록 하여 필요한 조치가 너무 늦지 않게 이뤄지도록 도움을 요청하는데에 사용될 수 있고, 한편으로는 군경찰견을 훈련시키는 데에도 사용되도록 할 수 있다. 도 8에서 삽입부(27)는 호흡 주입부(20)의 외측 관로(21) 측에 형성되어 있는 것으로 도시되었지만, 삽입부(27)는 필요에 따라 호흡 주입부(20)의 측면이나 외측 관로(21)의 반대측에 형성되는 것도 가능하다.
이로써 본 발명에 따르면, 저렴한 비용과 간단한 구조로 제작되어 용이하게 사용할 수 있으며, 분해와 조립 및 휴대가 간편해질 수 있는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치를 제공할 수 있다.
이상, 바람직한 실시예를 통하여 본 발명에 관하여 상세히 설명하였으나, 본 발명은 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며 특허청구범위 내에서 다양하게 실시될 수 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 반려동물의 입과 코 주위를 둘러싸도록 구비되며, 전방 단부에 마우스 개구와 노즈 개구가 형성된 마스크부와;
    상기 마스크부에 착탈가능하게 결합되며, 상기 마스크부에 결합시 상기 마스크부의 마우스 개구를 통해 적어도 일부가 삽입되어 연통되는 호흡 주입부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 호흡 주입부는,
    상기 마스크부에 결합시 상기 마스크부의 외측에 배치되게 구비된 외측 관로와,
    상기 마스크부에 결합시 상기 마스크부의 내측에 배치되어 상기 마스크부에 의해 감싸지도록 구비되며 단부가 반려동물의 구강 내로 삽입되도록 구비된 내측 관로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 호흡 주입부는 상기 마스크부에 결합시 상기 노즈 개구에 연통되게 구비된 노즈 관로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 마스크부에는,
    상기 마스크부로부터 상기 호흡 주입부로 공기 흐름이 발생되면 상기 마스크부의 일측에 형성된 배기구가 외부를 향해 개방되도록 하는 배기 밸브가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 마스크부 및 호흡 주입부 중 적어도 어느 하나에는 반려동물 리드 수단에 연결되는 연결 고리가 구비된 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  6. 제2항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 외측 관로의 외측에는 슬라이드식 호각이 더 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
  7. 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 호흡 주입부는 산소통에 연결되는 호스가 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 반려동물 인공호흡장치.
