Abstract

The invention relates to a collapsible overflow hot tub that is easily transported. The proposed hot tub comprises two structures that support two canvases. The hot tub can thus overflow into the outer canvas. The outer canvas also makes it possible to keep a supply of water hotter in order to make the hot tub usable for long periods of time. Moreover, the tub comprises a plurality of electronic valves controlled by a microcontroller that makes it possible to give a personalized massage by controlling the force and duration of the water jets according to the needs of the user. The massage jets are joined to the canvas of the inner tub and are dispensed all over the body of the user via a plurality of jet tubes.

Renseignements généraux  This invention is in the field of hot tub manufacture. General Information
Overflow hot tubs have been in existence for several years and are generally manufactured in one piece and permanently installed on a level floor (CA2414836 and US20030154544 patents). Removable tanks have the advantage that they can be installed on uneven surfaces and in the ground and can be easily transported (CA2722265A-1).
The proposed spa is a double octagonal structure with two canvases. The outer section is the reserve and receives overflow water from the inner tank. The reserve is at a higher temperature than the inner section to allow the hot tub to have a heat reserve (US4150665). In addition, the tank uses independent electronic valves to distribute the hydraulic power of the pump to specific massage zones with electronically controlled force and duration.

Description détaillée detailed description
(Fig 1-3). (Fig 1-3). The hot tub is composed of two octagonal tubular structures (Fig 1-1) that serve as support for the reserve fabric and the spa tub (Fig 1-2). The outer section is used to receive overflow water when a person enters the tank. (Fig 1-3). This outer section is also used as a heat reserve and is at a higher temperature than the inner tank to allow heat buildup when the spa is used for long periods of time. The quantity of water in the reserve is controlled by two electronic reserve valves (Fig 3) which allow water to be exchanged with the inner tank. In addition, the valves make it possible to control the level of water in the inner tank so that it is always at the maximum height of overflow. (Fig 1-3).
Several canvas tubes are welded to the outside canvas of the hot tub (Fig 2-1). The tubes have between 4 and 20 perforations that let out water under pressure to create a swirl. An additional welded tube allows air to escape using an air injector (US Patent 2332694).
The two octagonal structures are composed of tubes that disassemble completely. To hold the tubes in place, holes have been drilled to receive a screw or lock, which prevents the tube from coming out of its holder. The bench of the tank is also composed of removable tubes and is covered with a canvas (Fig 2-1) which can also receive a zone of massage jets.
The tank fabric is held in place with fasteners that are attached to the inner octagonal structure using belts. (Figl-2) The fabric of the reserve is also held in place by means of fasteners that are fixed to the outer octagonal structure (Fig 1-1) using belts.
A water circulation system that includes several electronic valves (Fig 3) controlled by a microcontroller allows to offer a massage from the top to the bottom of the body with the force and duration programmed by the user. The amount of zones in the main vessel depends on the number of electronic valves used. The amount of air injected into the tank is also controlled by an electronic valve that allows to offer a massage with a quantity of air programmed by the user.
The canvas of the tank is protected and isolated from the ground with pieces of styrofoam. Styrofoam panels are also installed outside the structure of the reserve allowing installation in the ground and prevent the earth from pressing too strongly on the canvas of the reserve.
