La présente invention concerne un appareil (1) de préparation des aliments approprié pour être utilisé sur un appareil de cuisson à chauffage par induction, comprenant un corps (2), des aliments étant placés en son sein, en vue d'opérations de préparation des aliments comme la cuisson, la coupe et le mélange ; un couvercle (3) monté sur le corps (2) ; au moins une mâchoire (4) qui est disposée sur le couvercle (3) et qui permet au couvercle (3) d'être verrouillé sur le corps (2) et un mécanisme de verrouillage (5) qui est disposé à l'intérieur du couvercle (3) et qui permet au couvercle (3) d'être libéré de manière à être ouvert, ou permet au couvercle (3) d'être verrouillé sur le corps (2) en déplaçant les mâchoires (4) dans la direction horizontale.
