Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung zum Kühlen von wenigstens einem axialen Endbereich eines Stators einer rotierenden elektrischen Maschine, insbesondere eines Generators, aufweisend: - wenigstens eine radial außen umlaufend an wenigstens einem zumindest einen radial verlaufenden Kühlkanal aufweisenden Abschnitt des axialen Endbereichs anordbare Ringkammer, die radial innen in Richtung des axialen Endbereichs zumindest teilweise offen ausgebildet und hierdurch kommunizierend mit dem radialen Kühlkanal verbindbar ist und die gegenüber dem axialen Endbereich abgedichtet ist; und - wenigstens eine kommunizierend mit der Ringkammer verbundene Unterdruckleitung, über welche die Ringkammer kommunizierend mit einem Unterdruckraum der rotierenden elektrischen Maschine verbindbar ist, der bezüglich einer mittels eines an einem Rotor der rotierenden elektrischen Maschine angeordneten Wellenlüfters erzeugbaren Kühlfluidströmung dem Wellenlüfter vorgeschaltet ist.
