L'élément à fibre optique est une aiguille à fibre optique ou un ensemble embout buccal dentaire à fibre optique ; l'ensemble embout buccal dentaire à fibre optique est constitué d'une interface de fibre optique d'éclairage de corps entier, d'une gaine de fibre optique, d'une fibre optique d'éclairage de corps entier, et d'un embout buccal dentaire, l'interface de fibre optique d'éclairage de corps entier étant reliée de façon fixe à la fibre optique d'éclairage de corps entier et l'embout buccal dentaire en séquence, et la gaine de fibre optique se nichant à l'extérieur de la fibre optique d'éclairage de corps entier.
