  • a problem that may occur with random patterned wall paper and the like is that it may be difficult to know which way is the right way up. Sometimes such media is inadvertently hung upside down. This is also a problem with bill board poster sections, where in addition to being at risk of being hung upside down, the poster comprises a number of sections and these have to be positioned in the correct order. Ensuring that this is done without errors may be time consuming and painstaking.
  • a schematic side view of a digital printer 10 having a high resolution printing means 12 configured to print a high resolution full color image on a front face 14 of a media 16 and further comprising a second print means 18 configured to print data onto a back face 20 of the media 16.
  • the high resolution printing means 12 may be a full color ink jet printing arrangement comprising a carriage 22 with a plurality of inkjet print heads 24a, 24b, 24c, 24d which typically includes cyan, magenta and yellow inkjet print heads, and generally also includes a black inkjet head. These colors should not be construed as limiting.
  • the inkjet printer may include different color inks. Secondary colors such as red, green and blue are provided. Silver and gold inks and white ink may be provided.
  • the second print means 18 may be a dot matrix printer or an inkjet printer. Typically it will be a low resolution monochrome printer.
