Abstract

The invention relates to a space divider kit for increasing the effectiveness of extractor hoods comprising at least one space divider part, fixating means enabling the fixation of said space divider part onto the edge of an extractor hood or to the environment of it and said space divider part is designed at its upper side to be suitable for joining to and detaching from the fixating means, where the upper side is to be understood as the upper side in the fixated state of said space divider part. The space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) is provided with joining means (9) at least at both endings of its upper side which joining means (9) serve as temporary couplers to the fixating means (8) where the place of the joining means (9) is defined by the position of said fixating means (8), furthermore said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) comprises stiffener parts (10) for holding the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) back against the sucktion effect of the extractor hood (2).

Removable exhaust hood extension created by a space divider kit for increasing the effectiveness of exhaust hoods comprising at least one space divider part which contains transparent or opaque film material, further comprising fixating means for fixing said space divider part onto the edge of the exhaust hood or in the environment of it, and said space divider part is designed at its upper side for joining to and detaching from the fixating means, where the upper side is to be understood as the upper side in the fixated state of said space divider part characterised in that further comprising joining means (9) on the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) at least at both endings of its upper side, and said joining means (9) and fixating means (8) are designed as temporary couplers, and where the place of the joining means (9) at the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) defines the position of said fixating means (8) at the exhaust hood, furthermore neighbouring space divider parts (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) are overlapped by each other, furthermore at least one of said space divider parts (6, 17, 18,

20) comprises stiffener parts (10) for holding the space divider part(s) (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) back against the sucktion effect of the exhaust hood (2).

2. Removable exhaust hood extension according to claim 1 characterised in that said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) has a filmlike thickness of its material, preferably between 0.03 - 0.09 mm and comprises a thicker and / or stiffer zone (11 ) at its upper side.

3. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-2

characterised in that the material of said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) is flexible, preferably a plastic film, like e.g. a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film.

4. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-3

characterised in that the fixating means (8) and the joining means (9) coupled to it are the appropriate parts of one of the following quick fastener structures: sucktion cap, water washable selfadhesive silicone ribbon, velcro tape, hook, hole, and the counterparts of these, furthermore double sided adhesive tape.

5. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-4

characterised in that said space divider part (6, 17, 8, 19, 20) comprises folding lines (7), for folding said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) to smaller sections in an accordionlike manner along the folding lines (7).

6. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-5

characterised in that said stiffener parts (10) have a slim rodlike form and have a somewhat smaller or similar length as the height of said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) and are preferebly made of metal or plastic, and are placed downwardly extending along the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) at its surface facing the exhaust hood (2) or are formed as downwardly oriented ribs of the material itself of the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20).

7. Removable exhaust hood extension according to claims 6 characterised in that said stiffener parts (10) are attached to the thicker and / or stiffer zone ( 1) of the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) or to the fixating means (8) or to. the joining means (9).

8. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-7

characterised in that said stiffener parts (10) consist of plummet(s) placed onto the lower zone of the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) defined in its fixated state.

9. Removable exhaust hood extension according to any of claims 1-8

characterised in that said space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) comprises a quick fastener structure (13) for temporarily fixating the upfolded state of it and first half of the quick fastener structure ( 3) is on the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) and its counterpart half is either on the upper side of the space divider part (6, 17, 18, 19, 20) itself or on the exhaust hood (2) or in the environment of it.
