Le circuit de connexion des chaînes de DEL est mis au point de telle manière que les différentes chaînes de DEL sont connectées à une tension d'alimentation croissante avec le nombre ordinal N croissant et sont déconnectées avec une tension d'alimentation décroissante avec le nombre ordinal décroissant. Au branchement de tension d'alimentation générale est associée une source d'accumulation de courant, qui est mise au point de telle manière que, à une tension d'alimentation initiale, la source de réserve de courant est chargée et que, à une tension d'alimentation de service, la source d'accumulation de courant d'une des chaînes de DEL impose un courant d'alimentation de sorte que cette chaîne de DEL est connectée.
