Abstract
The use of clip pedals and appropriate footwear has proved itself for cyclists, however, said use is avoided by many due to an immanent risk of injury. All of the currently existing clip release systems can only be released by using a release technology by means of specific foot movement. This is particularly problematic in stress situations. A safe and quick release of bicycle pedal clips to avoid falls, and to provide sufficient comfort when using bicycle clip pedals without appropriate footwear has been lacking up to now. The invention relates to a practicable solution thereto that allows the realization of an efficient seconday release mechanism. The release of the foot pedal clip is hereby illustrated by means of a hand-operated cable pull, or electronically. The basic principle is the use of a pre-tensioned spring, which releases the retaining bolt on the clip pedal. The invention further relates to the use of a cover plate for situations in which the clip system is not being used with appropriate footwear. The solution according to the invention can contribute significantly to an increased attractiveness of clip pedal systems.

Use and extension of existing brake cables and levers: when a full brake application is triggered via the brake cable (selectable or rear brake or together), the lever cable is simultaneously actuated. The realization takes place by means of Y-Bowden cable distributor or at electromagnetic triggering by means of control cable contact in the brake handles, which are individually adjustable.
Mehrere Benutzerprofile bzw. Auslösesensitivitäten können in der App eingestellt werden. Multiple user profiles or Trigger sensitivities can be set in the app.

Darüber hinaus wäre eine Lösung der
Clip-Pedalverankerung mittels eines Stellmotors möglich, welcher die
Haltebolzen löst.In addition, a solution would be the
Clip-pedal anchoring possible by means of a servomotor, which the
Retaining bolt releases.
Hülsen-/Hebel-Einrastöffnungen, was wiederum die vorgespannten Federn
(Federspeicher) entspannt.
Is by one of the four variants mentioned the
