Abstract

The present invention relates to a button essentially comprising at least one cylindrical body (2) which the user directly contacts, at least one cap (3) in form of a ring which partly covers the top of the body (2), at least one intermediate piece (4) between the body (2) and the cap (3) and provides illumination; and enabling to make control and calibration in electric and electronic devices.

Description

DESCRIPTION
AN ILLUMINATED BUTTON
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a button which enables to make control and calibration in electric and electronic devices, which is preferably illuminated with LED lamps and has antislip feature, and thus aims to prevent dangerous situations such as turning the device on by accident or remaining turned on.
Background of the Invention
The buttons used for calibration and control especially in white goods today have simple designs, they do not give information about the operation status of the said device to the user. This situation causes problem especially in use of stove. Sometimes the user cannot realize when the stove is turned on, and this cause a big danger. The systems wherein the LED lamps are used for warning and aesthetic purposes in white goods and similar devices are already present in the technique, however there is not enough study on use of a calibration button. Chinese Patent Document no CN101350482, an application known in the state of the art, discloses a microwave oven illuminated with LED lights. The illumination system is activated upon the user turning the oven on.
Japanese Patent Document no JP2005009693, another application known in the state of the art, discloses a lighting system which prevents the user from using the parts on the stove wrongly. The purpose of the invention is to enable the button to be more distinctive than the other parts with lighting provided on the button.
Summary of the Invention The objective of the present invention is to provide an illuminated button which warns the user when the device is operating.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide an illuminated button which is in form of a stove burner that is burning when it is operating, and thus which enables to warn the perception of the user as the stove is burning.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide an illuminated button which provides antislip feature in gripping with hand.
Detailed Description of the Invention
An illuminated button developed to realize the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the figures, in which Figure 1 is the exploded perspective view of the inventive button.
Figure 2 is the top view of the intermediate piece on the inventive button.
Figure 3 is the rear view of the body on the inventive button.
The components given in the figures are individually numbered where the numbers refer to the following.

The inventive illuminated button (1) essentially comprises
at least one cylindrical body (2) which the user directly contacts,
- at least one cap (3) in form of a ring which partly covers the top of the body (2), at least one intermediate piece (4) in shape of a circle which is between the body (2) and the cap (3), which warns the user about the device being in operation with the LED lights it comprises, and the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the body (2).
The body (2) comprises vertical channels following each other in form of recesses and protrusions on its outer surface providing antislip feature.
The cap (3) is a member remaining on the front part of the body (2) after its installation to the device, and comprising an opening (31) in the center which enables the intermediate piece (4) to be seen. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the opening (31) is preferably circular.
The intermediate piece (4) is a member which is surrounded by a plurality of LED lights, and comprises a protrusion (41) on its center extending outside the cap (3) and in a camber form. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the protrusion (41) has a circular form the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the opening (31). By means of the opening (31) and the protrusion (41) having different diameters, the lighting on the intermediate piece (4) can be seen between the cap (3) and the intermediate piece (4).
In one embodiment of the invention, the inventive illuminated button (1) is used as stove calibration button. With this use, dangerous situations such as the stove being turned on by can be prevented by means of its illumination feature, and turning on the stove by accident can be prevented by means of its antislip feature, and the button (1) makes gripping easy.

Claims

An illuminated button (1), which enables to make control and calibration in electric and electronic devices, characterized by
at least one cylindrical body (2) which the user directly contacts, at least one cap (3) in form of a ring which partly covers the top of the body (2),
at least one intermediate piece (4) in shape of a circle which is between the body (2) and the cap (3), which warns the user about the device being in operation with the LED lights it comprises, and the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the body (2).
An illuminated button (1) according to claim 1, characterized by body (2) which comprises vertical channels in form of protrusion and recess enabling antislip feature on its outer surface.
An illuminated button (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by cap (3) which is on the front part of the body (2) after its installation to the device, and comprises an opening (31) enabling the intermediate piece (4) to be seen on its center.
An illuminated button (1) according to claim 3, characterized by opening (31) which has a circular shape.
An illuminated button (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by intermediate piece (4) which is surrounded a plurality of LED lights, comprises a protrusion (41) extending outwards the cap (3) on its center and in form of a camber.
6. An illuminated button (1) according to claim (5), characterized by a protrusion (41) in circular shape the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the opening (31).
An illuminated button (1) according to claim 6, characterized in that the lighting on the intermediate piece (4) can be seen between the cap (3) and the intermediate piece (4) by means of the opening (31) and the protrusion (41) having different diameters.
An illuminated button (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by illumination feature which prevents the stove remaining turned on, and the antislip feature which prevents the stove to be turned on by accident when it is used as stove calibration button.
