Abstract

Dans un système de traitement de gaz d'échappement comprenant un dispositif de catalyseur d'oxydation et un dispositif de réduction catalytique sélective qui sont séquentiellement installés dans un tuyau d'échappement à travers lequel les gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne sont évacués, un dispositif de purification de gaz d'échappement comprend : au moins un support à travers lequel passent les gaz d'échappement, ledit ou lesdits supports pouvant être installés sur la position en avant du dispositif de catalyseur d'oxydation et/ou la position entre le dispositif de catalyseur d'oxydation et le dispositif de réduction catalytique sélective ; et un revêtement de lavage, qui recouvre la surface du support, pour collecter les impuretés contenues dans les gaz d'échappement ou un matériau oxydant dévié à partir du dispositif de catalyseur d'oxydation.
