Definitions

  • the present invention refers to advertising arrangements for sports fields.
  • sports field means any space in which a regulated sports activity is carried out, be it covered or exposed to the weather, and regardless of the materials in which they are made.
  • the advertising arrangement of the present invention is especially indicated for sporting events in sports fields that are recorded or retransmitted by cameras, although the invention is not necessarily limited to said application.
  • Anamorphic arrangements for sports fields are known.
  • Anamorphism is a technique that deforms an image or advertising motif to create in the viewer a false appearance that you are seeing the advertising motive from a certain point of view.
  • Said anamorphic arrangements are used so that the observer of an event from a selected point of view has the impression of observing an advertising device, arranged high relative to the horizontal plane, when in fact he is observing an anamortically deformed device located horizontally at ground level . This allows to place apparently non-horizontal devices, but that do not interfere with the trajectories of the athletes.
  • An example of such a horizontal flat device It can be seen in Spanish Patent Document ES2152182.
  • a drawback of said type of flat anamorphic devices is that the deformation required by the anaformism makes the flat devices have a very large size, so that their scope of placement is limited. Thus, for example, in football it is feasible to place them in the goal area, but on the sides the available space is very limited.
  • a principle used by the present invention is the use of anamorphic techniques to display a single advertising motif in two different sub-dispositions, which may be separated from each other.
  • Another principle used by the present invention is the use of the fence that usually surrounds the fields to draw attention to the viewer about advertising elements used outside said fence.
  • the present invention envisages using both principles independently or in combination.
  • the present invention consists of an advertising arrangement in a sports field comprising a first flat section, in horizontal arrangement or resting lying on a surface, and a second section, in vertical or inclined arrangement with respect to the ground, and corresponding with a fence that It constitutes an outer boundary of the playing area, with an advertising motif distributed in both sections and in which the advertising motif, at least in the first flat section, is deformed by the anamorphism technique.
  • the present invention solves the aforementioned space problems by using two connected surfaces that form an angle to each other.
  • the vertical flat section may coincide with a fence of the fence wall that delimits the playing area.
  • the advertising motif does not show anamorphic deformation in the second section, and the advertising motif in the first section is deformed only in one direction.
  • said deformation in one direction will be less than 100%, more preferably, less than 50% and even more preferably, between 20 and 40%.
  • the anamorphic deformation of the flat section causes a camera located in front of the advertising device to perceive the advertising device as a single advertising device apparently arranged with both sections vertically.
  • the advertising device can be physically realized in different ways. Both sections may consist, for example, on a substrate on which the at least partially deformed advertising motif or motifs are printed or adhered. Both sections can consist of screens (for example of LEDs) in which advertising motifs properly deformed by a controller are shown. It is also possible that the second section or horizontal section is of the substrate type and the first vertical section or section of the screen type, or vice versa. Finally, it is also possible that the device consists solely of a single-color substrate or any other visible delimitation of the limits of the device, with an image processing device being subsequently responsible for placing the advertising motif on the surface in the image captured by the chamber, also applying the corresponding and equivalent anamorphic deformation that would be available to the physical device.
  • Another problem concerning the advertising provisions for sports fields is the limited space available for placement, especially if we take into account that the safety of the players must be maintained (so that provisions raised within a fenced enclosure cannot be provided) and because the attention is focused within the game enclosure, which further limits design options. Outside the playing field, normally outside the fenced enclosure, the spectator does not capture the advertising provisions, or captures them with less intensity.
  • an advertising arrangement on a sports field comprising, as said second section, a fence that is placed in a raised position on the surface of the sports field and that delimits an outer limit of the zone of game, presenting this fence an advertising motive.
  • Said provision also includes, as said first section, an additional advertising element located outside the outer limit of said playing area, and having a representation area of an advertising motive, said representation area having a closer limit to the fence, said additional advertising element being supported on a surface and because the advertising motif is divided between the first and the second sections, the advertising motif in the first section presenting an anamorphic deformation which causes that from a defined point of view the apparent reason to be not deformed and raised on the ground and because the aforementioned limit is closer to the fence of the additional advertising element, the highest line of the fence and said point of view are in the same plane.
  • the studies carried out by the applicant have concluded that the viewer's attention is directed outside the field for elements that are partially within the field.
  • the present invention uses fencing (within the spectator's attention zone) to draw attention to elements outside the field of play.
  • the use of reverse perspective techniques to perform anamorphic deformations allows these two spaces to be used without distorting the advertising message.
  • the present invention in its different embodiments, uses, among others, the following means: Use of two elements that can be separated in which a single advertising motif is represented.
