They attempt to make the route short and in certain cases also allow needs of the consignees of the goods to be considered. For example, private consignees are easier to contact at their respective residences during lunch break or in any case outside working hours. Contrarily, corporate consignees can be contacted during predefined warehouse managing periods .
  • the system does not automatically reschedule the deliveries, but waits for the driver of the vehicle to decide whether to momentarily exclude such a delivery from the list of pending deliveries.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de gestion d'une mission de véhicule d'un véhicule de livraison de marchandises, lesdites marchandises étant définies par une pluralité de colis à livrer, le système comprenant un système cartographique de navigation par satellite adapté pour guider le véhicule le long d'un itinéraire comprenant une pluralité d'arrêts correspondant aux lieux de livraison d'un ou de plusieurs de ces colis, des moyens destinés à calculer un intervalle de temps attendu pour le véhicule pour couvrir la distance entre chacun des arrêts, des moyens destinés à acquérir les prévisions météorologiques de zones géographiques contenant chacun des arrêts au moins pendant un intervalle de temps dans lequel le véhicule est supposer se déplacer entre eux.
