Abstract

L'invention concerne un véhicule (2) à assistance électrique à deux roues comprenant un châssis (4), une roue avant et une roue arrière (6), ladite roue arrière (6) comprenant un moyeu (60) pouvant tourner autour d'un essieu arrière (40) du châssis (4), une source de couple primaire (8) qui transmet un couple à la roue arrière (6), un moteur électrique (10) apte à transmettre un couple d'assistance à la roue arrière (6) et un système (12) de transmission à variation continue. Sur une chaîne cinématique destinée à entraîner la roue arrière (6), le moteur électrique (10) et le système (12) de transmission à variation continue sont montés entre la source de couple primaire (8) et la roue arrière (6), le système (12) de transmission à variation continue étant monté entre le moteur électrique (10) et la roue arrière (6).
