Abstract

L'invention concerne des revêtement de balle de golf résistant à l'abrasion et des procédés de fabrication de balles de golf. Le revêtement est constitué d'une partie polymère thermoplastique comprenant au moins un premier copolymère d'éthylène à poids moléculaire élevé ; 5 à 12 % en poids d'acide acrylique et/ou méthacrylique ; 5 à 40 pour cent en poids d'acrylate et/ou de méthacrylate d'alkyle ; éventuellement au moins un deuxième copolymère d'éthylène à faible poids moléculaire ; 3 à 25 % en poids d'acide acrylique et/ou méthacrylique ; et un dipolymère d'éthylène/acide acrylique à poids moléculaire élevé, qui comporte une fraction molaire des unités monomère d'acide acrylique d'environ 10 % au maximum d'une fraction molaire des unités monomères d'acide carboxylique α,β-éthyléniquement insaturées du ou des premier(s) copolymère(s). Les groupes acides de toutes les unités monomères d'acide sont neutralisés à raison de 30 % à environ 75 % sur une base molaire par les cations magnésium, les cations calcium, les cations zinc ou une combinaison de ces cations.
