Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de blindage à persienne pour protéger un équipement et des installations d'infrastructure. Le système peut être ajouté à un équipement existant ou peut être conçu pour être installé lorsque l'équipement à protéger est installé. Le système est conçu pour permettre un assemblage facile du système à l'aide d'outils simples, et avec des persiennes qui peuvent être transportées par l'homme. Le système est conçu de telle sorte que des parties du système peuvent être facilement désassemblées par retrait de la plaque de verrouillage, de façon à obtenir un accès pour la maintenance ou l'installation/retrait d'équipement. Dans le mode de réalisation préféré, les persiennes sont constituées d'une plaque de blindage de dureté Brinell 600 d'épaisseur 5/16" qui a un angle de 45 degrés. Ce système serait capable d'arrêter une balle ordinaire de calibre 50 à pleine vitesse initiale. Le système pourrait être revêtu ou peint pour isoler électriquement le système et le protéger des intempéries. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un système modulaire incorporant des persiennes blindées qui sont évolutives pour s'adapter à différentes tailles d'éléments d'infrastructure critiques.
