구각지지부(110)는 U자 형태 또는 원이나 타원의 일부를 이루는 형태를 가지고, 양단이 구각(1; 도 3에 도시)을 상방으로 올려주도록 지지한다. 구각지지부(110)는 일례로 양측으로부터 상방으로 연장되는 연장부(111)를 가질 수 있고, 양쪽의 끝단, 즉 연장부(111)의 끝단에 구강의 내측을 지지하는 지지단(112)이 형성될 수 있으며, 지지단(112) 각각의 하측에 전방으로 돌출되어 구각(1; 도 3에 도시)이 걸려서 지지되도록 하는 걸림부(113)가 마련될 수 있고, 걸림부(113)의 전단에 마련되어 구각(1)의 이탈을 제한하도록 구각(1)의 전방에 위치하는 이탈방지부(114)가 걸림부(113)의 직경이나 폭보다 큰 직경이나 폭을 가지도록 형성될 수 있다. 이탈방지부(114)는 미소 교정시, 표정이 이쁘도록 원판 형태로 이루어질 수 있다.
물림부(120)는 구각지지부(110)의 후방 양측으로 각각 마련되고, 상악과 하악의 어금니(2,3; 도 3에 도시) 사이에 물리도록 하는데, 일례로 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 본체(140)로부터 후방 양측으로 각각 연장되도록 마련되고, 각각이 치아의 배열로 이루어진 곡률과 반대되는 곡률을 가지고서 치아에 대향되게 위치하는 연장부(121)와, 연장부(121)의 후단에 상하로 이격되도록 각각 마련되고, 변형에 대해 복원력을 가지는 재질로 이루어짐으로써 어금니의 씹는 작용이 가능하도록 서로 이격되도록 복귀되는 한 쌍의 물림판(122)과, 물림판(122) 각각에서 어금니(2,3; 도 3에 도시)가 접하는 면에 볼록하도록 형성되는 볼록부(123)를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서 한 쌍의 연장부(121)는 서로 마주 보는 측이 근접하는 방향으로 볼록해진 곡률을 가지도록 형성됨으로써 치아의 배열 형상, 즉 양측으로 볼록한 곡률 형상과 반대되는 형상을 가지게 되고, 이로 인해 씹는 동작시 어금니(2,3)를 제외한 치아와의 간섭을 방지하도록 한다.
손잡이부(130)는 구각지지부(110)의 전방에 구강의 외측으로 돌출되도록 마련된다.
한편, 손잡이부(130)는 본 실시례에서처럼 본체(140)에 마련될 수 있는데, 이러한 본체(140)는 구각지지부(110)의 중심부에 마련되어 구각지지부(110)와 물림부(120)의 연결을 매개하는 역할을 하도록 추가되는 구성일 수 있다.
본체(140)는 사용시, 착용자의 앞니 사이에 물릴 수 있고, 물림부(120)보다 적어도 작은 두께를 가지도록 제작될 수 있으며, 구각지지부(110)가 양측으로부터 상방으로 연장되도록 마련될 수 있고, 물림부(120)가 후방 양측으로 연장되도록 마련될 수 있으며, 손잡이부(130)가 전단에 마련될 수 있다. 또한 본체(140)는 구각지지부(110), 물림부(120)와 함께 일체를 이루도록 제작될 수 있되, 비교적 연성을 가진 합성수지재질로 이루어지되, 인체에 무해한 재질로 이루어지며, 일례로 열가소성수지로 이루어질 수 있다.
본체(140)는 본 실시례에서처럼 전단의 손잡이부(130)와 함께, 하트 형태로 이루어짐을 나타내나, 이에 한하지 않고 다양한 도형 내지 캐릭터 형태를 가질 수 있으며, 가장자리를 따라 간격을 두고서 미끄럼방지홈(141)이 다수로 형성될 수 있다.
손잡이부(130)는 본체(140)의 전단에 마련됨으로써 본체(140)가 앞니 사이에 물리는 경우, 전방으로 돌출됨으로써 착용자의 파지를 가능하도록 하고, 구각지지부(110)의 중심에 입술의 중심이 정렬됨을 확인하도록 구강의 외측에서 구각지지부(110)의 중심에 해당하는 위치에 정렬표시부(131)가 마련될 수 있다. 정렬표시부(131)는 일례로 홈 형태로 이루어짐을 나타내나, 이에 한하지 않고 돌기 형태를 비롯하여 다양한 형태로 이루어질 수 있다.
손잡이부(130)에는 향료(150)가 수납될 수 있는데, 향료(150)는 손잡이부(130)에서 구강의 외측에 위치하는 부분에 형성되는 향료수납부(132)에 수납되고, 사용자의 코로 흡입되기 위한 향을 발산하도록 한다. 향료(150)는 향을 발산하기 위한 천연 또는 인공의 향료로서, 일례로 고형물로 이루어지거나, 다른 예로서 다공재질에 함침된 액상물로 이루어질 수 있다. 한편 향로수납부(132)는 본 실시례에서처럼 정렬표시부(131)에 일치하여 하방으로 공간을 형성하도록 손잡이부(130)에 형성될 수 있고, 이와 달리 정렬표시부(131)에 인접하거나 정렬표시부(131)와 이격되도록 형성되는 수납 공간으로 이루어질 수 있으며, 내측에 수납된 향료(150)로부터 향의 발산을 위하여, 일측, 예컨대 상측이 개방도록 형성될 수 있다.
이와 같은 본 발명에 따른 미소 교정 기구의 작용을 설명하기로 한다.
도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 구각지지부(110)의 지지단(112)과 이탈방지부(114) 사이의 걸림부(113)에 구각(1)이 지지됨으로써 구각(1)이 상방향으로 지지되도록 하고, 이로 인해 미소 형성을 위한 근육 훈련이 이루어지도록 할 수 있다. 이때 물림부(120)가 어금니(2,3) 사이에 위치함으로써 어금니(2,3)에 의한 씹는 운동을 활발하게 할 수 있도록 하여 미소 근육을 형성하는데 뛰어난 효과를 주도록 할 뿐만 아니라, 침샘의 자극으로 인해 침의 분비를 촉진하고, 이러한 침의 분비로 인해 충치균의 활성화를 억제하여 충치 발생을 방지하는데 도움을 준다. 또한 물림부(120)에 의한 씹는 작용에 의해 뇌로 이동하는 혈류가 많아지도록 함과 아울러, 산소공급량의 증가로 인해 뇌의 기능을 향상시켜서 집중력 증가에 도움을 줄 수 있다.
또한 어금니(2,3)의 씹는 작용에 의해 한 쌍의 물림판(122)이 서로 맞닿도록 할 뿐만 아니라, 가해지는 힘이 느슨하거나 해제된 경우 한 쌍의 물림판(122)이 재질적인 특성으로 서로 이격되도록 복귀되는 과정을 반복함으로써 씹는 운동이 제대로 이루어지도록 할 수 있으며, 물림판(122)에 형성된 볼록부(123)가 어금니(2,3)의 접촉면 형상에 상응한 형상을 가지도록 하여, 씹을 때의 이물감이나 이탈감을 최소화할 수 있다.
정렬표시부(131)에 의해 구각지지부(110)와 입술의 정렬 상태를 쉽게 확인하여 입술이 정렬된 상태에서 미소 교정이 이루어지도록 하고, 이로 인해 미소 근육이 좌우 균형되게 발달하도록 할 수 있다. 또한 향료(150)로부터 발산되는 향의 흡입을 가능하도록 하여 진정 내지 기분 전환에 도움을 주도록 한다.
이와 같이 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 설명하였으나, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양한 수정 및 변형이 이루어질 수 있음은 물론이다. 그러므로, 본 발명의 범위는 설명된 실시례에 한정되어서는 아니되며, 후술하는 특허청구범위뿐만 아니라 이러한 특허청구범위와 균등한 것들에 의해 정해져야 한다.
본 발명의 일측면에 따르면, 미소 교정을 위한 기구에 있어서, U자 형태 또는 원이나 타원의 일부를 이루는 형태를 가지고, 양단이 구각을 상방으로 올려주도록 지지하는 구각지지부; 상기 구각지지부의 후방 양측으로 각각 마련되고, 상악과 하악의 어금니 사이에 물리도록 하는 물림부; 및 상기 구각지지부의 전방에 구강의 외측으로 돌출되도록 마련되는 손잡이부를 포함하는 미소 교정 기구가 제공된다.
상기 구각지지부가 양측으로부터 상방으로 연장되도록 마련되고, 상기 물림부가 후방 양측으로 연장되도록 마련되며, 상기 손잡이부가 전단에 마련되는 본체를 더 포함하고, 상기 손잡이부는 상기 구각지지부의 중심에 입술의 중심이 정렬됨을 확인하도록 구강의 외측에서 상기 구각지지부의 중심에 해당하는 위치에 정렬표시부가 마련될 수 있다.
상기 손잡이부에서 구강의 외측에 위치하는 부분에 형성되는 향료수납부에 수납되고, 사용자의 코로 흡입되기 위한 향을 발산하는 향료를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 구각지지부는 양쪽의 끝단에 구강의 내측을 지지하는 지지단이 형성되고, 상기 지지단 각각의 하측에 전방으로 돌출되어 구각이 걸려서 지지되도록 하는 걸림부가 마련되며, 상기 걸림부의 전단에 마련되어 구각의 이탈을 제한하도록 구각의 전방에 위치하는 이탈방지부가 상기 걸림부의 직경이나 폭보다 큰 직경이나 폭을 가지도록 형성될 수 있다.
상기 물림부는 치아의 배열 형상과 대향되는 형상의 곡률을 가지는 연장부; 상기 연장부의 후단에 상하로 이격되도록 마련되고, 변형에 대해 복원력을 가지는 재질로 이루어짐으로써 어금니의 씹는 작용이 가능하도록 서로 이격되도록 복귀되는 한 쌍의 물림판; 및 상기 물림판 각각에서 어금니가 접하는 면에 볼록하도록 형성되는 볼록부를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명은 미용 교정기구에 산업상 이용가능하다.

Claims (5)

  1. 미소 교정을 위한 기구에 있어서,
    U자 형태 또는 원이나 타원의 일부를 이루는 형태를 가지고, 양단이 구각을 상방으로 올려주도록 지지하는 구각지지부;
    상기 구각지지부의 후방 양측으로 각각 마련되고, 상악과 하악의 어금니 사이에 물리도록 하는 물림부; 및
    상기 구각지지부의 전방에 구강의 외측으로 돌출되도록 마련되는 손잡이부를 포함하는, 미소 교정 기구.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 구각지지부가 양측으로부터 상방으로 연장되도록 마련되고, 상기 물림부가 후방 양측으로 연장되도록 마련되며, 상기 손잡이부가 전단에 마련되는 본체를 더 포함하고,
    상기 손잡이부는,
    상기 구각지지부의 중심에 입술의 중심이 정렬됨을 확인하도록 구강의 외측에서 상기 구각지지부의 중심에 해당하는 위치에 정렬표시부가 마련되는, 미소 교정 기구.
  3. 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 손잡이부에서 구강의 외측에 위치하는 부분에 형성되는 향료수납부에 수납되고, 사용자의 코로 흡입되기 위한 향을 발산하는 향료를 더 포함하는, 미소 교정 기구.
  4. 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 구각지지부는,
    양쪽의 끝단에 구강의 내측을 지지하는 지지단이 형성되고, 상기 지지단 각각의 하측에 전방으로 돌출되어 구각이 걸려서 지지되도록 하는 걸림부가 마련되며, 상기 걸림부의 전단에 마련되어 구각의 이탈을 제한하도록 구각의 전방에 위치하는 이탈방지부가 상기 걸림부의 직경이나 폭보다 큰 직경이나 폭을 가지도록 형성되는, 미소 교정 기구.
  5. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 물림부는,
    치아의 배열 형상과 대향되는 형상의 곡률을 가지는 연장부;
    상기 연장부의 후단에 상하로 이격되도록 마련되고, 변형에 대해 복원력을 가지는 재질로 이루어짐으로써 어금니의 씹는 작용이 가능하도록 서로 이격되도록 복귀되는 한 쌍의 물림판; 및
    상기 물림판 각각에서 어금니가 접하는 면에 볼록하도록 형성되는 볼록부를 포함하는, 미소 교정 기구.
