Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé amélioré de préparation de microparticules. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un procédé permettant de préparer des microparticules possédant un profil de libération choisi pour la libération d'un médicament contenu dans les microparticules. En soumettant l'émulsion à de multiples étapes comprenant la trempe, l'élimination fine par décantation, le lavage et la déshydratation dans une seule cuve, suivie d'une lyophilisation sous la forme d'une étape intermédiaire qui est effectuée pendant la préparation des microparticules, des microparticules de bonne qualité peuvent être préparées. Le procédé de fabrication des microparticules selon l'invention est simple, robuste et nécessite relativement moins de réglages des paramètres de traitement. En outre, les microparticules résultantes possèdent une excellente uniformité de forme, présentant une moindre tendance à l'agglomération après un séchage d'étape intermédiaire et une bonne aptitude à l'écoulement en cas de remplissage de flacons de poudre sèche.
